The Good

  • Clean, Renewable Energy Options
  • Low-Interest Solar PV Financing
  • Straightforward Solar Process
  • In-House Installations
  • Flexible Options for Solar Arrays
  • System Monitoring
  • Solar Power Resources

Clean, Renewable Energy Options

Spark Solar provides its customers with solar panels that allow them to power their homes and businesses with clean energy rather than purchasing electricity from the grid. And, with one of the company's solar PV systems, customers can take a step towards energy independence and easily meet the electricity demands for their home. Additionally, each customer's public utility likely offers a net metering program, so the customer will get paid for any extra energy they send back to the grid.

Low-Interest Solar PV Financing

With Spark Solar, customers are not required to front the cash necessary to cover the cost of a solar electric system. Instead, clients can work with the company to secure low-interest financing for their system so they can enjoy the savings and benefits of clean energy.

Straightforward Solar Process

Spark Solar custom designs each solar system specifically for the customer, which involves producing estimates, building engineering documents, and performing due diligence on permitting, loan applications, and other factors. However, the company strives to make the process go as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Once the project begins, a technical expert from Spark Solar's install team will perform a site survey to assess and analyze conditions. Within one week, the system will be custom designed and engineered by certified professionals. Within three weeks, all necessary permitting and approvals will be arranged. Within six weeks, the system will be installed and wired. Spark Solar states that most installations are completed in one day. After that, the system will be inspected by the authorities as soon as possible. Once the system is approved, it will be connected to the grid, turned on, and will begin producing power!

In-House Installations

Unlike some other solar electric providers, Spark Solar provides turnkey solar service and handles all aspects of the process in house. This means that the company's own employees handle engineering, permitting, HOA requirements, dealings with utilities, material sourcing, and installation; nothing is outsourced to a third-party provider.

Flexible Options for Solar Arrays

Roof composition and rooftop space can vary from building to building, so Spark Solar offers flexible installation options to fit each property. In addition to rooftop solar systems, the company's installers are also competent in ballast mounts for flat roofs and TPO, solar carport canopies, large-scale ground mounts, and metal roof mounts.

System Monitoring

Spark Solar provides each customer with a monitoring service that will allow them to track system production and ensure that everything is performing optimally. When the company comes out to turn on the system, a representative will show the customer how to install the app on their mobile phone, how to use the app, and what things they should be on the lookout for.

Solar Power Resources

On its website, Spark Solar provides a number of blog posts and other helpful articles to help educate individuals about how solar works, the benefits of solar energy, and more.

Brian Rockport, TX

Don't believe anything they tell you. They sold me a 6KW system and installed a 5KW inverter. They said I should generate more electricity than I use. I even added more panels than they recommended. I still pay a power bill every month. Not a trustworthy bunch.

Hello Mr. Brian. You didn't provide your last name, but I believe that you are Brian Busey. I understand your frustration. We have done thorough research for you and have a lot of back and forth. We have the proposal that you signed and your solar production is in alignment with the proposal. The solar is doing exactly what it is suppose to. We have indeed discussed this and you have stated that the solar is doing more than we even projected. There are many emails back and forth between you and our VP of sales, and in those emails you have expressed that the solar is doing well, but that the electric company is not properly crediting you. We got you in touch with the Green Mountain energy rep, which we can continue to help with this.

Concerning the inverter size, the 5,000 watt inverter can be paired with up to a 7.2kw-7.5kw solar system.

Again, we want your solar experience to be positive, which is why we have looked into your solar and find that it is working perfectly. We have assisted you and will continue to work with you. We have not lied, been deceitful, or dealt with you dishonestly. This review is not justified at all. We also have screenshots of your proposal and solar production showing that it is working perfectly.
