I went online and looked up the solar companies in our area, so that's why I picked Moxie. It seemed like they cared about me and the needs that I had and just kind of treated me like part of the family. I think they had everything done in like two days. The only issue I had was there was an issue between Aliant energy and Moxie with something with my breaker panel wasn't right and it took a whole another month because they were kind of fighting between each other like "This is set up right", "No, you need to change this", but that was resolved. It took another whole month to resolve that. But the installation was great. Customer support would always return my calls or let me know what is going on with my system, what is being done next, just like what was upcoming, whats the next process pretty much, what was coming up next so I was informed. Very, very informative on the whole project.

They are a well organized installer of solar arrays. Once the paper work requirements were met, and there is a lot of that, we we put on a job schedule. Took several days to complete, as there are several steps. We did a ground mount system because we have plenty of room. Several different crews took their turn in completing their aspect of the construction. They were all respectful of our property. Cleaned up as they went. No refuse left to blow around. The paper work is phenomenal, this is America, but they helped explain whenever I had questions. They help with arrange for financing. I went with a two year same as cash option. The only downside I saw was communication up front. But given the pandemic environment that they were constrained by, no sit down at the kitchen table meetings to walk a customer thru each step of the process were possible. But they always answered the phone or replied to emails or text messages. I would welcome any queries from prospective clients that have concerns 4 Stars is as high as I ever go. 5 stars is a goal to strive for. Craig Drury Fulton Illinois

It seems to be working. They need to do a little more follow-up with their people down the road. Installation was fine except we didn't get all the kilowatt we could have because they had to make the installation smaller. I wish they could have given us a chance of buying a more expensive but more towards the actual number of what they originally put down in the estimate because when they figured it out they didn't leave enough room for the fireman that are required by the fire code. They did a good job of the installation itself. Sometimes you just don't know what's going on and they don't keep you updated.

They were the first solar company to contact me. Moxie Solar answered every question we've had and they've come out to fix it several times with no problem. Our inverter went bad and we weren't getting enough solar energy so we had to switch it out. I just don't feel that it's producing as much electricity as it should. I think our bills are higher than they we expecting them to be and it's not giving us the benefit that we thought it was going to. I feel like the salesman lied to us and said that our electric bills were going to be less than they really are. I'm not sure how this is going to pan out with the 20 years ROI, but right now we're starting to finally after a year see savings.

The main issue that we've was that the raised portion of it stopped working and Moxie's big selling point is to monitor it for you.They basically did not for over 4 months and I finally addressed it today and they took care of us. That was my main disappointment with them-that they it didn't appear they were actively monitoring our installation and that was something that they said September part of company. I think they did a nice job with everything... I mean they were very proactive. They were they were quick to get it in 2 days and their crew was good. We did have one issue with the installation, but they did a good job for the most part of taking care of that.

Doug was great with getting things done for me. Now though they have Anna and her phone mailbox is always full. The Solar is great to have. I can't wait until it starts paying for itself. There is a big tree next to my house, and I mentioned it to the salesperson but he didn't seem to care so I never got a full day of sunlight. They are a great team to work with.

The only negative I have about Moxie is that they damaged some of the drywall in my garage when they were installing. They said they would be back to repair it and it has been six weeks and there hasn’t been any progress on it getting fixed. Other than that it went smooth and quicker than I thought. It all looks top notch and we are satisfied with it.

I rate them this way because while their service was good, often I found myself chasing them before I received a response. Indeed, what we were told to expect a roughly 60 day process took over 120 days before I was able to turn on the power. That being said, they made some financial considerations, but the delay cost me money in both higher electricity bills and also lost opportunity cost of producing solar electricity during the high consumption months.

The installation was fine. I didn't like the way the guy put the cable from my internet out of the ground so I can see. I haven't had any problems with the panels. The only thing I didn't like was they tell you that you're going to qualify for state and federal grants and I didn't qualify for any of that so everything was out of pocket so that's kind of misleading.

Combination of price and the advertising I saw made me go with them. Then there was the turnkey service and not having to deal with multiple companies. Installing the system took longer than expected, however, most of the delays were because of heavy rains late into winter - so mostly for weather. They were responsive most of the time. They were a couple times I had to call to get someone here in a timely manner to take care of things, but it worked on the end.

Sometimes I have difficulty getting them on the phone. I have tried numerous times to get them on the phone and couldn't get anybody. From the time I got started until the time they got done, I never talked to any Moxie people. Everybody I talked to was a subcontractor. Overall knowledge of what they were doing. The equipment is pretty efficient. Nobody told me there will be a delivery fee when I produce more electricity than I use. The technician who comes out, named Dale, is just plain outstanding and he has explained in ways we understand and makes the Moxie experience much better.

Their customer support after I paid everything went down, but when I was paying and agreeing to go through with the loan, it was great. The installation process took time but I'm satisfied. I think that it's important for anyone to ensure there's a plan in place to geth their system activated with Moxie once the system is installed. I've reached out to project representative multiple occasions and gotten almost nothing back.

Moxie does not communicate well when things don’t work out. Everything else is perfect. They cleaned up after they installed it. They were awesome. It was done in one day. The sales guy is outstanding as is the guy in accounting. They are both nice and fast to respond. The engineer is the one that was hard to deal with.

The company that they hired to do the trenching did not do a good job of filling in the trench after they installed the solar and it took a long time for them to come. We expected them in August but they did not install our solar until December. We've had no problems with the panels. Overall I think they did a good job.

They did all the legal paperwork and got everything processed very quickly. I really didn't have to do anything or sign a couple of things and send it back down. I didn't get the app downloaded right away and can't research getting the app again.

Everything went really well. It took quite a while to activate it after it was installed and ready. I feel like I would have liked the solar panels to have been directed more towards a south facing side of the roof. I am concerned we won't get as high of an output during the winter months due to this.

We had a wind storm that ripped the panels up and they came back and fixed it for us at no cost. They have a website where they said they would help you monitor your panels for years and make sure they were up and running. They were kind of slow to install it because it was winter time so the ground was frozen, but they got it done.

When you call them, they seem to get back to you right away. Putting the system in was kind of slow and I kind of got left out of everything. Once I called Moxie about it, it went pretty quick. But it took about two months before they put it up. Seems like equipment and everything is working pretty good.

Customer service was very good by email. By phone might've been better for some of the more complicated stuff. But the installers left a big ditch hardly filled in and we had to do the work of cleaning that up.

There was an issue during installation, but they were able to fix it. Right now they've only been going on for 3 generations and haven't met the design usage which is a little disappointing.

Good Installation / SLOW process, and by that I mean it has been almost FOUR MONTHS since my signed contract and first payment and I STILL do not have power from my panels. I need results, not excuses.

The end of year push had them scrambling to finish projects. Some of our system wouldn't work. They have been good with follow up and compensating for non productive arrays. The weather has not helped.

I kept getting cut off and I had to keep calling and calling and calling until they finally got my stuff up and running, which was approximately one hundred twenty days, not the nine days it was going to be.

They've been very responsive when there were any issues and they've been good to work with. Installation went well. They were getting everything set up. Some of the parts had issues but they were replaced under warranty.

They made a mistake measurement and so the solar panels were not correctly displayed on how they were going to be installed and they didn't advise me that the solar panels would interfere with my antenna TV signal.
