I Love My Solar is a licensed and insured C-46 Solar Contractor and B General Building Contractor and Roofing Contractor.

Mark and Christina Danenhower were introduced to the solar industry back in 2004 when they first installed solar panels onto their California home — and found themselves no longer living in fear of their electric bill.

The Danenhowers have been business partners since 1990, but their careers in the solar industry began after they took a solar panel installation class. The couple moved from the Bay Area to the Sierra Foothills and started specializing in solar panel installations. Soon the company grew from 4 people to 175 under the name The Solar Company. From 2004 to 2017 The Solar Company installed over 8,000 solar panel systems in Northern California.

Unfortunately, in 2017, The Solar Company had to close its business. However, after some time away, the Danenhowers decided to stay in the industry under the new name I Love My Solar.
