The Good

  • Holistic Energy Efficiency Approach
  • Benefits of a Local Company
  • Three Office Locations

Holistic Energy Efficiency Approach

AC/DC Solar places a significant emphasis on energy efficiency. The company not only offers solar solutions but also identifies ways to improve a client's overall energy efficiency. This holistic approach to energy solutions can lead to significant long-term cost savings and reduced environmental impact.

Benefits of a Local Company

When it comes to choosing a solar company, many consumers prefer to go local. One of the benefits of doing so is to avoid the many tiers of service and communication. Working with a larger company often means working with several different people and being transferred from department to department, resulting in communication errors and slowing down the solar installation process.

Home and business owners can expect a personalized experience when working with AC/DC Solar. The company assigns a personal solar expert to walk you through the entire process.

Because it's a smaller, local solar company, AC/DC Solar boasts that it knows all the ins and outs of going green in Florida.

The company holds various licenses specific to Florida, showcasing a commitment to compliance and professionalism. Customers can have confidence in AC/DC’s operations and services.

Three Office Locations

AC/DC Solar has three Florida offices that serve as a contact point for prospective solar customers. These offices are in Tampa, Panama City, and Hallandale Beach.

The Bad

  • Limited Customer Reviews
  • Lack of Detailed Information

Limited Customer Reviews

One aspect that could be improved is the availability of verified customer reviews. Hearing about the experiences of past clients can provide reassurance and build trust with potential customers.

Lack of Detailed Information

The company’s website provides some useful generic information regarding how going solar can help you out as a home or business owner.

Unfortunately, AC/DC Solar's website lacks a lot of the key information we use to recommend the company to consumers.

It's unclear what panels or equipment AC/DC uses, the length of equipment or workmanship warranties, or financing options like solar loans, leasing, or PPAs.

The Bottom Line

AC/DC Solar LLC presents a compelling option for those in Florida seeking solar energy solutions. The company’s focus on professionalism, energy efficiency, and sustainability positions it as a provider with a lot of potential in the renewable energy sector.

However, while the company's website provides valuable information about solar in general, more details are needed for us to make a confident recommendation. Detailed equipment and warranty information as well as an increased presence of verified customer reviews and testimonials would further enhance its transparency and reputation. This would strengthen AC/DC Solar's appeal to potential customers seeking a trusted solar provider.
