They will not allow any negotions on what to charge. I have been getting increase every year, this year it was $20.00. I do not get anything more in additional perks, I do not have high speed internet, and my bills are SKY HIGH. I would not recommend them to anyone. I will be addressing the dish and direct TV and Verizon networks.

Have a brand new smart tv and still fight to get them app to work. Plus local channel 9 freezes within a minute of turning it on and shuts the whole system down. I have basic internet and tv and still pay $80. Not happy. But stuck.

I have a modem. I do not have cable. Just a modem. My bill was raised to almost $100.00 month beginning March as bundled services. What are they bundling??? I live on Soc Security, can afford cable any more. Now I cant afford a modem.

Same problems as Time Warner. Terrible reception, picture gets pixelated regularly and it becomes unwatchable. Horrible DVR service. Often recorded programs are "unavailable". They have the nerve to charge nearly$200 per month and I don't even have any premium channels. They take back DVRs from customers that have problems and then just clean them up and give the box to another customer. I went through 9 boxes before getting one that works. It doesn't help with the overall service issues. Email gets hacked often. When I call to report it they blame me. They insist that somebody stole my password from me. No way that happened! It doesn't matter how many times I change the password. It still happens. Nobody stole it. I have had 9 different email accounts for years. The only ones that ever get hacked are the roadrunner accounts. They still insist it's my fault. They change settings occasionally that cause Outlook to stop connecting to roadrunner. When I call they insist nothing has changed and if I want to use Outlook it's my problem because they don't support it. When I do some digging on their website, I find that connection parameters have been changed. Why couldn't they just tell me instead of wasting hours of my time?

was scheduled for new installation between 5 and 6pm, no show, no call. called customer service and wanted to reschedule with no installation charge since I already lost work time to be there, waited on phone for 20 min until disconnected, no return call, I guess they don't want my business!

On Demand not working. I called and was told to try in a couple of days because they are “working on it” They have no problem charging me full price for half of what I pay for. Spectrum is the hugest rip off company. I hope they get their due and everyone cuts their cable with them

Been experiencing internet drops and outages since spectrum has taken the reigns. Never had any issues with TWC internet service. Being a student who takes online courses I'm forced to start shopping for internet providers cause spectrum has cost me time and money with the current issues I'm experiencing now that I never had before they took over.

The worst TV/Internet service. Price increase every 6 month. The monthly charges went up to $139.0 for internet speed 50, and less than 100 TV channels. I called to complain, and then blocked my telephone number, and used other telephone in order cancel the service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SPECTRUM FOR NEW CUSTOMERS.

Spectrum buys out Time Warner Cable. One year later, as I expected, my internet bill gets hiked up! Also, all the non stop ads I receieve in the mail from Spectrum are very annoying. Those ads use lots of paper which means cutting down lots of trees which is contributing to climate change/global warming!

This cable company is absolute crap. I thought Time Warner that we previously had was bad. Will not work with you on billing, less actual channels (more repeats of same channels) for more cost, internet service is worse for same or more money. There needs to be more alternatives out there.

They lied about availabilty of the one channel I wanted on TV. They increase rates after one year and do not work to keep you as a customer with any deal. They then pepper you with deal letters after you leave. This company is a total joke

TV service cuts in and out, barely works. Internet is far slower than advertised. We have the 300 mbps internet service plan, and I don't think I have ever seen even half that speed when downloading. Upload speeds might as well be using a dial-up modem from the 90's.

There prices for cable are ridiculous, I thought Time Warner was bad. At Least they would work with you on specials. My price is $127.00 and starting in March it goes up to about $180.00 + for basic cable,phone and internet. That happens with lack of competition.

The amount of time I have had to spend on hold with Time Warner/ Spectrum is outrageous. No one there is at all competent or knowledgeable. In addition, they are lazy, when a product is broken a company should work to fix it ASAP. Unfortunately Spectrum/TWC does not share that view.

Spectrum did honor my TWC deal for a few months but then jacked up the rate $25. I ended up with half the internet speed for $8 more. Good move spectrum. Buy out all the competition and raise rates. Nothing but class acts there. Extremely dissatisfied.

Since Spectrum has taken over from Bright House service outages and length of outages has soared. From once or twice a year to once or twice a week. Also internet speed has become erratic. I can only surmise they are cutting back on maintaining the network to save money.

I have had charter service for 15 days. I have yet to have all of my services are working (TV/Internet/phone) for more than 12 hours at a time. Many phone calls and many technicians and no one can fix the problem. I'm frustrated and tired.

This is the worst cable I have ever had. The wind blows and it goes out. They never show up on time and call at the last minute to inform you they are running late, after you waste your day waiting. The internet is also very slow. I would choose another company if I were you. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!

Every twelve months they raise the monthly charge by $20 per month. I call and ask what additional services am I getting for the additional $20. Answer: "the special promotion you were on ended". They play a little game about getting me into a new special promotion. I am sick of it, cancelled cable TV service and going on-line.

So for anyone that has Spectrum that falsefy there speeds, hangup when they put you on hold and they don't like to resolve any issues. On top of that if you have a past due they slow your speeds compltely down without tell you. Its sad when your phone speeds are faster.

From the technicians' lack of skill and professionalism and the Customer Service Clown Fest we have switched to a new Service Provider and could not be happier. We never experience interruptions, the Customer Service is based in the USA, and their prices are fair and reasonable.

Look at user reviews, not paid reviews. If you do that, you'll see that Charter is, at best, a 2/10 service. They charge a lot, deliver very little, screw you around when you try to get the service you pay for, and lie about reimbursement for downtime. They are filth and wretched scum. Nothing more.

When you ask to get s bundle they individualize everything from time warner to spectrum my bill is going up 200 reduculous if you wanna speak to a repair you get the Philippines so far there spending more on there advertising then caring for there customers!

Customer Service will give you the runaround, transfer you or put you back in the queue with no warning. The first person will say what you want to hear and the last person will tell you he was full of it. Very glad to be going with another company instead. The internet speed was never as advertised anyway and the channel lineup wasn't great.

Following an annual rate hike, I chatted w/ a CSM about a more competitive rate for my area. They came up w/ one & turned me over to the customer retention department to finalize. Customer retention said they had no idea where those new numbers came from & could not change my rate after I had agreed. I was a customer of 20+ years.

Since Spectrum took over Brighthouse a few months ago, my rate increased $16/mo, wait times for customer service agents is well over 10 minutes, internet speeds are slower and cable tv is very unreliable. Very unhappy. Going elsewhere.

Bill spiked up as soon the merged with twc and now again when the merged is complete. Totally hate the money being wasted. Got lease internet modern fee, tv hd converse fee, main tv fee, voicemail fee (I don't even use the phone) and many more. Going look else where. Don't waste your money.

It is amazing to me that spectrum is so expensive, and raise their prices every year, without any discount but they can spend millions and millions on commercials. There are so many commercials, I'm sick of seeing them. Maybe if they cut down on all the advertising they just might be able to give their customers a discount.

Tiling, channels going off the air on one TV but not the others....the list goes on but the worst? If you want to buy a movie to watch on demand you can only view on the TV you ordered from. So you have 48 to watch but the kids can't watch it in their room too - unless you buy it twice.

Cable service is awful. Picture pixelates and freezes constantly. The cable information menu states "no data available" on a daily basis every morning. I have to reset my box every day. Internet service is terrible as well. I get booted at least 4 times a day. Complete garbage, go with anyone else you can.

Internet is on again, of again, but that's ordinary for this area. Customer service is pretty good, overall not too impressed with Spectrum. They send junk mail and telemarketing on an almost daily basis.

I used Charter Spectrum and simply quit them. They raised their (already) high rates at any given time, I found them very lacking in the service department, also. My On Demand stopped working on both of my boxes at the same time and they refused to come out to fix/replace them unless I agreed to pay extra for the service person. I ended the service and did without cable.
