This company is a terrible awful mess. My company has had commercial internet service going on 3 weeks now and the service drops out several times a day. They have sent techs out and they have been unable to resolve the problem. Their customer service is rude and completely unhelpful. If you like having reliable internet, you should avoid these guys like the plague. I have never had worse dealing with a company.

So sad to lose wonderful Brighthousr! Spectrum a nightmare. First three modems broken. Got 4 promotional call for reduced rate and then was told I couldn't get it. Courteous lower-lever phone people. Rotten corporate atmosphere. Why do the good companies always get swallowed by monsters? If there is any way to get other setvicr I am going to do it.

I miss Uverse. A silver tongued Spectrum salesman got the office to switch, disappeared after the sale and service has been terrible since. Spectrum is slower despite what is advertised, connection problems are rampant, our service window to "fix" issues is insanely wide and archaic 8am to 5pm and treatment on the phone by tech support has been disappointing. Beginning our journey back to ATT.

Their internet is okay but spotty. It is embarrassing that Spectrum has employees that don't have discounts for cable and yet they are the ones sent to work with customers. Spectrum would have better advertisement and happier employees if they would give them a fair rate. Who would want to work for a company in which you can't afford their services but are supposed to talk to employees and perform all services???

I've had Spectrum cable for nine days now. And every single day there has been a problem with it. They sent a tech out and he tried to new boxes, but the problem is still not fixed. I've spent over two hundred minutes on the phone with them and they still can't get it right. And I pay for my phone by the minute. So this is an expense for me. Their service is a joke and their product simply does not work.

poor service from the day it was installed. Took them 6 weeks to finally bury cable and customer "service" rep very unpleasant because i had called it in before. By the time they buried the cable it was already damaged as service never worked well. finally a nice tech came out and found the kink in cable. Called back to customer "service"in regard to credit for poor service but as that's still TWC (calling it spectrum don't help) service level no dice. check out the new ATT and verizon services a bit more pricy but worth it.

Time warner customer for over 20 years! Spectrum is unwilling to accommodate loyal paying customers, no negotiation, raise prices, no explanation whatsoever! No matter who I tried to call I got the same response..."there are no promotions for you" you're not a new customer!! That's it, time warner at least has really good customers service, this company is totally greedy.

The only good thing I can say about the technician that came was that he was on time. He reaked of marijuana, glassey eyes and an "I don't give a d@&* attitude. He reconnected service but never checked to see if the tv worked AND didn't set up the channels. He was a disgrace to Spectrum. He was a subcontractor and not a Spectrum employee. Next time I need service I will make sure I get a real Spectrum technician and definitely not this guy.

Charter canceled our cable service without our permission and then refused to reinstate our cable because someone else had an order to have their cable set up at our address A MONTH LATER. Our lease is not up until the 12th and we had planned on taking charter with us but after talking to 4 different representatives who state they cannot cancel someones service without their permission we will no longer be using charter.

I tried to get Spectrum internet today, but because I have an out dated cable package they would not let me get their internet unless I either upgraded my cable package or dropped it entirely. This is idiotic to say the least. Spectrum does not offer any real variety for it's cable packages, I don't want 120 plus channels, and getting an antenna is difficult but I'm getting there.

Spectrum is just as bad as TWC when it comes to customer service. They don't follow through with what the promised. Bad service setup from the beginning. Higher bill than what I was quoted. I went to cancel then they gave me a lower rate. I stayed and still haven't received my lower offer. Wasted 30 minutes of my lunch break to take back equipment to get an upgrade then they tell me that i don't need to change out the modem. Was without service on a tv for a week do to them screwing up my account. Now they are wanting to downgrade services to lock me in a lower price.

I have charter for my business, internet is acting up, they said they will be here on Monday, so I have to try and get thru 2 days with bad internet, which affects my phones and credit card machine. The lady kept telling me she understands. But what she doesn't understand, is the money I am loosing because of their service. Not happy with Charter right now.

This company sucks! My cable has been out for over 24 hours now, due to someone hitting a power pole. The pole is repaired, the power is on, but Spectrum refuses to come out and restore my cable, or even check for repairs needed. I didn't like Time Warner, but Spectrum disgusts me even more. My advice... Avoid this cable service. They have no problem accepting your payment every month, but they don't care about their customers at all.

I was a Time Warner customer---when Spectrum took over they increased my bill by about $100 a month without prior notice. When I cancelled my service because of this it took 7 LONG phone calls to get an accurate final bill. I had been paying $187 a month---had a credit of $26 because of seasonal service and they charged me $174 for only 21 days of service. Just sick of them so I paid just to get it over with. Beware!!!!

the charter tv service is terrible. they installed the high density system for all of our TVs. About every 3-4 minutes the TV rescrambles to get the picture - it is so distracting you can not even watch the TV and the price is over $200 mo for this terrible product. Customer service is useless. Wish there was another company in the area as we would leave charter. internet is not much better - half the time this does not work either. and they also do not bill at the rate they promise on the phone when you speak to them.

Cancelled Spectrum went to WOW for 8 daysreally disliked the WOW cable and went back to Spectrum . Spectrum said 48.99 for re hook up and 144 pr mo as we had previous. Well bill came for $204 pr mo. That's not what they told me! Someone cancelled old account and now new acct. costs more. I feel we are being punished for returning!! We're retired and on fixed income and believed them on the return costs. Now no one will help and say that's how it is. We were lied to and taken advantaged of. I guess because we're seniors. I have never been sent a bill! The guide has all channels on it, and I can't find anywhere I can see what channels I have purchased. Third, when you look at genres the shows come up. Some have had by them and some have$ signs. The ones with hd or nothing beside them, when you click on it to see what the show is about, you get note saying you have to subscribe to that channel. It's a lot of wasted time for nothing. Forth, I have never had to go on the internet to schedule a series to record.

Spectrum is the worst! I finish paying them $500 and get an instillation the next day, they mess my time up... push me back to another time the same day, make me wait for 4 hours and than proceed to tell me I have to wait til the next day to get my service. I loved Twc and never had any problems with that, but now that it's spectrum. The prices go up and the customer service is terrible. I hate spectrum! Don't get service through them

Horrific company!!!!! We have paid a bill, and they will not credit us. We have made about 5 or 6 calls, each taking 45 min. or more and we are back on it today as we rec'd a shut off notice. I finally figured out how to watch the content i pay for online. There are many sites where you need to log in properly to get access. No thanks to customer service i finally got to stream content. i was using the wrong email address. you must use your charter made email to access. Charter should explain this to there customers better. Its been like buried treasure for 2 years!!!

After two weeks of service Spectrum decides to remove the golf channel and charge extra if I wanted it back. Also, they list a 125 channels in their basic line up but fail to tell you half of the channels are duplicate with different channel numbers. I guess for HD and SD. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED OF THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. DONT BUY THEIR SERVICE!

I was a TWC customer. After Spectrum took over they raised my bill and would not allow me to take advantage of any of their offers to new customers. I am paying for all those discounts new customers are getting. I attend to cancel. In my area there is only one other company that offers service. That's the problem. I had no problems with TWC and my bill was reasonable.

TWC got bought out by Spectrum and since then my service has been abysmal. Have had to call once a week to get Internet turned back on because 'something' in the computer keeps changing our service or our box or SOMETHING. Internet cuts out every couple of hours forcing a reset or a call to get it reset on their end and even though we are paying for the highest speed streams will STILL get dropped or will lag. I tell friends and family to look elsewhere it's not worth the headache.

Worst cable provider we've ever had. On Demand is full of bugs. Our number of channels is ridiculous when you realize that it's just all the same channels repeated 3 times. Tonight, trying to watch a regular channel, A&E, but all 3 selections are frozen in some weird, distorted state. Miss our FL DVR where we could watch one show while recording multiple others. More than one recording at a time on Spectrum requires you to choose only one and forget the others. Maybe they should spend some of their "Look how great we are now" advertising budget and actually create a better service.

Spectrum is just AWEFUL. We switched from ATT to Spectrum based on a good rapport with their salesman . The installation was the worst that I have ever seen; they drilled holes in the middle of our hardwood floors...not near the edge, but 8 inches away from the base molding. The channel availabilty and the image pixelating all the time...oh I could go on and on. I swear, 48 hours doesn't go by where my wife asks if we can switch back to ATT; and we hated ATT.

Ordered service was told delivery would arrive in two days. It did not. Called they said someone forgot to ad a delivery date. Promised it would arrive in the next to days! It did not. I was told to go to a local store. I did except they didn't tell me that I would have at least an hour wait time. I left and I will give them one more chance to deliver. Then I will stay with Dish!

This has to be the WORST company ever!! I will be writing the BBB also after this review! IT was great when it was Brighthouse so I dont know why it would be so difficult to take over a great company and keep it great! This service is out all the time and you cannot contact them. They charge you for movies that you RENTED but did not get to watch and say that they cannot refund because you did not call it in but you cannot call because there lines are down.. What a scam of a company!!

Every time the wind blows I lost my internet, I was at the end of a run down an alley. Over two year's I was constantly loosing my internet. The line in the alley needed replaced but since I was one of the few paying customer's left it wasn't worth replacing the line in the alley! I now have an att wi-fi gateway and up to 75 mbps speed rate that blows spectrum away and for $40 a month including equipment. Spectrum you are fired and to that I say GOOD RIDDANCE to a horrid company!

10 days ago we had a minor snow. The city plow took down the cable line. Last time this happened last summer I told the tech it was to low. Well here we sit with the same problem again. No internet , no TV and was told by Spectrum it will be a few weeks. I bitched up a storm, so they sent out a tech and he tied us into my neighbors service.Talk about slow and very few shows. But the happy part is they raised my bill 20.00.

Not only will you pay a premium but after working all day, get ready to constantly deal with connectivity issues. Spectrum has been calling me for three months. They tell me they took over Time Warner. Do not be fooled they just changed their name because they lost so much of their business. So they sent me their promotion. The provider came to my house, and of course, the office did not port my phone. So I told him I would call back. I then called the office, and they told me I owed them 70.00 Of really. Well I haven't had Time Warner for 10 years. They are the worst.

Spectrum kept raising my bill about $ 20 every 6 months or so. I had service with time warner for 15 years or so. All I wanted was my bill to stay around $160 month. 4 phone technicians promised they got my bill back down, not. They couldn't give me encore western channel. I Left got $350 credit paying $125 month. I now Love direct tv. With a 2 year contract Funny thing I did all I could to stay but spectrum better wake up.

Charter Spectrum charge exorbitant rates for mere internet service and keep raising them every year for continuing customers, who get screwed more the longer they stay with Charter Spectrum. There is no justification for raising the rates that way; Charter Spectrum takes advantage of the fact that they have a monopoly or near-monopoly on cable modem service in many areas and behaves like a monopolistic robber baron. Their service has also been spotty, with outages lasting for hours at times.

We are paying for high speed internet and cable. TV shows keep freezing and internet is very slow down to 10bp when it should be 50bp. Service Techs ( 4 times 4 differnt ones ) agree there is problems but each one states that they would have to resend out someone else . This has been going on for 4 months. Spectrum keeps bill us for high speed internet and cable but is not providing. I miss my Brighthouse who were always caring and helpful. Spectrums customer care does not care, keeps passing the buck and just wants to keep over charging for services not even rendered.

I ordered Charter Spectrum Business Service and after a month of waiting called to see why it wasn't installed? We were told that a Rep went to our location and that we weren't serviceable in our location? Which is fine, they just NEVER NOTIFIED US? Caveat Emptor. Not very professional to not call your customers back on critical NO GO decisions. Shows ZERO CONCERN for a customer or potential customer. Probably a blessing in disguise with that type of mindset.

Been having problems with service since spectrum took over. Scheduled appointment times are changed without notice and then they tell you they will have to reschedule in two days. This happened more than once In a two month period. When service person shows up if they show up they will be taking their equipment with them. I am done with these idiots. Just pay for wifi hot spot on cell phone.

I have been a customer for over 4 years. When TWC switched to spectrum I was hoping it would get Better but service only got worse. They won't do 1 week payment arrangements for loyal customers, spectrum policy changes have been crazy ridiculous and prices have gone up. How can they not do payment arrangements. Never liked Time Warner's prices, but at least their system worked. But ever since Spectrum took over in New York, the service has become terrible. At certain times of day, it can take up to a minute for the channel to change; same thing with pausing and fast-forwarding. Last night we waited 10 minutes for video-on-demand to load before giving up. I'm at the edge of cutting cable entirely thanks to these idiots.

Absolutely the worst company I ever dealt with! Not just the worst cable company, the worst company!! Lie, after lie, after lie. Pile on top of that, incompetence, misleading sales, and NO flexibility even when they admitted they were at fault, makes me wonder how they ever got this far. Each acct I've called about has resulted in over half a dozen phone calls to tech support and/or customer service, and at least one totally clueless tech at my home. After a week of this, I'm now paying more than promised, for inferior service! Disgusting!

I called to just get internet the guy said it would be 29.99 plus taxes and that there's no set up fee. So I told the guy I will talk to my wife and call right back. So when I called back to become a New Customer the price almost doubled and there's a set up fee. So I asked to talk to a manager and we'll that was a mistake.He told me that he can't control what the people who work under him says and if I don't like it than its a free country and I should take my business elsewhere. What a good manager and customer service skills. So I guess I'm taking my business someplace else.

They give a special price for 1 year and then every year after the price goes up each year. They will not negotiate with current customers to keep them. They try to get every dollar they can from customers. Their DVR boxes are old and out of date and when asked about better ones ,they have no plans to update. The boxes are always messing up and it could be days before they can get someone to your house to fix them.

Why hasn't Charter Spectrum given their costumers the PAC12 network? We have been waiting for MONTHS! It's in the channel lineup listed on their site and was supposed to happen the when the merge of time warner and charter happened. Your costumers have already missed the football season, don't make us miss the basketball season too.

I am on disability and get paid the 2nd Wednesday of the month at which point I promptly unfailingly pay Charter. Given that 2nd Wednesdays can fall anywhere between the 8th and the 14th Charter shuts me off due to the perceived inconsistency. I know that they have leeway to be humanitarian and grant me grace, yet they opt to be heartless instead. Besides that, the internet goes out every time there is so much as a drop of rain, and the DVR boxes work horribly. Everything we record freezes.

Spectrum has procedures in place for penalizing you for your loyalty. After you cancel, they want you back, always at a better rate. Yet, if you are a member and ask for a better rate you don't get it. Smart TV's offer a lot more service, for a lot less cost. Cancel your paid TV and look at new(er) options
