I've used DirecTV in the past and have never had a good experience. It is slow and always seems to have problems. Customer service is usually willing to help but it's not worth having to contact them so often.

We had Direct TV through Century Link. The main problem is you cannot upgrade equipment for free unless your contract has expired. Also, they have disputes with local channels and cut them off. You pay the same though.

Deceiving price tactics. Lures consumers with low payments for 2 year contract then bumps the price two fold after the contract expires. Drilled holes on my roof for the satellite and left the satellite there even after I disconnected service.
