I’ve had this bank for about a year with no issues... until April 15th when the funds from my stimulus payment did not, and still hasn’t, reflected in my balance. The IRS deposited it on 4/15/2020. I haven’t been able to speak with anyone cause the phone system is automated and will not transfer to a live person to speak with. This is horrible! Their lack of communication is unprofessional.

Frequently there are error messages when trying to log into the account and this will happen for hours and even days in a row where I cannot access my account. I spoke to somebody from customer service at one point who said they do not know why this happens. It's super inconvenient that I cannot access my money on a consistent basis. I'm so happy I changed bank accounts. I also had somebody in another part of the country using my debit card at one point. Horrible account to have. They also post transactions on the wrong day and prevented me from pulling out Max limits off my card.

Go bank has been continuously posting an extra pending charge to my account on several occasions when I make a payment with my card. When I call to let them know it was an issue they continue to blame the merchant when it had happened 7 times in a month's time with 3 different merchants. When I called they just kept telling me to file a dispute and it could take up to 10 days for this to be resolved. I spoke with a supervisor Lori and she continued to talk over me and hung up in my face.

WARNING STAY FAR AWAY FROM GoBank. Someone opened up an account in my name and using my old address under this GoBank, that I've never even heard of. I called the banks main line, was transferred to their fraud department and the fraud department could NOT close or take any action to the account!!!! WOW Unbelievable. The only reason I found about about fake account opening is because thank god to US Postal Service, they forward my mail to current address . This place operates on "shoe strings" and is a total scam. Stay away FAR away away!

Horrible company horrible bank. Suggest nobody use that bank. I had around 2000$ on my bank account. And I saw 17th transactions for amount 1750$ that I did not recognize! And I did not made them and I tried to dispute all of those transactions. Unfortunately they told me we can not give money back to we think that you made those transactions, so It seems like I am not gonna get money back.

Long story short, GoBank has not issued a credit back to my account, siting the situation is still under investigation, even after being GUARANTEED a credit 20 days ago. Oh, they lie when they say they call you back. All they are doing is clearing their call queue.

After a two week "investigation" gobank determined the purchases were valid and would do nothing further unless I submitted proof it wasn't me that made the purchases. They let the thieves get away and did nothing! The kind of proof they want cannot be obtained.

Terrible bank. No one in custimer service can clearly speak English. Can't get my funds back from an overcharge even though the business sent me a copy of a deposit they made refunding the money and the bank has the funds. They keep asking for the same information even though it was sent by email to the email address they provide. At 70 years old I feel senior abuse is taking place. Someone needs to file a lawsuit against this bank so changes are made. Just so frustrating and with dealing with the incompetent staff.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Deposits take 11 days to clear. Also, currently have a pending charge that is a duplicate of one that was cleared 9 days ago. I spoke with customer service and they said they cannot do anything at this time, even with info and proof fr merchant that they only charged me once. So GoBank CS states that duplicate charge will have to clear first before I can even begin a dispute. 9 days and counting in pending. I want my money back.

The worst Bank I've ever dealt with. Made a purchase at Express.com. Lost my debit card used for the original purchase and decided to put the refund on my Gobank. The store rep said that's OK to do so. Gobank blocked my card and I have about $900 in the account and send them original receipts of purchased and they want a different receipts every time I call, they always come up with something different and not willing to release my money. I might need to get a lawyer to get this but be aware and they always have an excuse to steal your money.

I have had OK everything with this card. I disputed 3 charges about a month ago. Nothing was ever resolved. Now I have had them "hold/pend" almost $300 for almost a week for a gas purchase that went thru immediately. Which is causing other bills to bounce. I call & get the run around, asked for a manager, got a supervisor that hung up on me rather then send me to a manager like I requested. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

If I could give no stars I would! I put money on it go bank debit visa and cannot activate it like thousands of other people. Your best bet is to call visa. When I did they transferred me to someone live for go bank. They told me to wait two business days for the financial department to call me back. I already know I’m not going to get a call back. The representative said well your money has been put aside to pay them. I told them to stop payment it was a fraud. She said we have to let it go through, then you can file a claim. and guess what?!! Ive had several times where a purchase was made and I know I never used my card for the purchases. So Ive had money here and there just come up missing out of my account and I totally don't agree with all the extra charges and I still have not found an ATM where its free to withdrawal any money. I have now had several incidents of deposits not accurately being credited to my account, as well as gas stations pre-authorizations not being credited back, despite multiple calls to customer service. You have to watch your balance like a hawk! And if something doesn’t get credited, expect to wait days and multiple calls to customer service to resolve it.

Even defied a court order. Sent a certified court order to fix the account so I could close the account and transfer my balance of $5000 to another bank. This took two months and still gave me a hard time to get my own money. There was no question the balance was correct. They just wouldn’t release my money. Had a direct deposit sent in my middle (that is what I usually go by) but my account is in my first name. They blocked my account and won't let me have access to my funds (even the ones before the deposit). It has been a week and the only response is 'It is being reviewed. Please wait'. No matter what question I ask that is the answer. My employer has tried pulling the money back and resubmitting. It i not working and I asked if the block is preventing it and I get 'It is being reviewed. Please wait'.

I lost my card and moved. They can change your address but you need to send a photo id copy and everything but your DNA to change your address. Any other bank on the planet is better. What kind of bank does not allow transactions through Uber and Lyft? This is ridiculous, they let you use it a few times and then cut it off. You call and they say they don’t allow transactions from Uber why? And then I try to make an online purchase... BLOCKED AGAIN. Most banks will block it and send you a text and ask if it was you or let you call and tell them to approve it. What kind of BS bank is this? You might as well carry cash... you'll have the same access.

I reported fraud on my uber gobank card for $22 the beginning of January not only did they close my account which they didn't explain that to be prior but i have yet to receive my money that i had in the account as well as the $22 back. Due to the account being closed you cant get anyone on the phone. I have emailed them numeroiuse times and i received different information every time. and of course sorry sorry sorry which is a bunch of BS. Uber should not use this bank for the drivers. I have refused to drive for uber due to this matter.

Zero stars is more like it. They used to have a feature to pre authorize checks. About 3 weeks ago that feature disappeared. I called “customer service” which sounded like an off shore call center. I was told that I should write checks just like a regular checking account. I followed that advice. I just got notice that one of my checks was declined because I did not pre authorize it! I have been trying to contact go bank about this and I have received no reply. Do not open an account with this fraudulent “bank.” I am closing my account. What a pathetic joke of a business.

According to them I withdrew the money at an ATM machine in another state. I am still trying to get my money back. Do not trust this card, they have no chip hence no protection from theives. Negative balance out of nowhere. Ok so I called and they said it was accurate. I deposited money. To take care of it. Then when I had transferred the remaining to another account, it said the EXACT same negative balance. So I transferred a dollar back in to see what happens, and now it’s $1. Just too many issues already with this card. What happened with the guaranteed no overdraft unless it was the monthly fee?? GreenDot GoBank is trying to steal money. Point blank period!!!!

Ok I have been a victim of gobank I had them through Uber and had very good service for a long time. Then all of the sudden they shut my account down without notice or reason. And my $700 in my vault is out if my reach. I will pursue gobank until I recover my money with paitence. I will contact FBI and file law suits until I recover every dime they cause me I am not the one to mess with!!!! Gobank don't know me but they will surely see I'm not like most people! I couldn't even register my card. I bought it at cvs. They activated the card to confirm the purchase. I loaded $200 on it and never got it. They would not register my card. 200 was stolen. by them from me. I spent 4 hours at CVS on the phone with greendot and gobank incompetent customer service along with cvs corporate and they kept telling cvs to give me 200 and leave their cash drawer short and they would send them the money back. Ha . I lost out on $200. I am livid!

Denied a GoBank Card through Uber without any explanation as to why. Uber can’t provide any help except a toll free number that GoBank will not answer if you don’t have an account with them. I’ve received a debit card from my local credit union, American Express and Discover without any hassles. I only applied at GoBank for the Uber perks that come with the card. No harm. No foul. There are other banks, both brick and mortar and web-based that will be happy to have your business.

Unauthorized charge of $30, 'Shell Adj' - charged on July 3'rd/4'th, started disputed on July 4'th. They said to send in dispute form or letter within 10 days or else it would be denied, tracked dispute letter which was received July 11'th or within 8 days. They opened and closed dispute one day before receiving dispute letter. I believe they have intent of falsely investigating/closing disputes before the consumer has chance to defend themselves in order to maintain their bottom line.

NEVER get this card. I used it for uber but it wouldn’t link into my Uber app. I told them to close it so I can reapply. The rep told me within an hour I can reapply. When I open the app and used my computer I was t able to reapply. I was told from a different rep that they only issue this card one time. Complete waste of time. When asked to speak to a supervisor they claim they don’t have one. Bad customer service as to getting you off the phone. I’m glad I don’t have go bank and never will apply for another one!!! STAY CLEAR!!!

I use GoBank for my uber instant pay and IT SUCKS i've had my account closed twice for "suspicious activity" but i've only used the card twice. They dont send you a email or anything letting you know your account has been compromised so when i go to transfer money i dont recieve and when i call the customer service line you cant speak to a person it just tells you to go to the website to upload photos of the front and back of my DLs which will take 2 days to process.

I got an Uber card with GoBank in order to access funds more rapidly. After one month my account got cleaned out by fraudulent charges in Italy and in the U.S. I reported the fraudulent charges and they closed my account and said there was nothing they could do. I made numerous calls and never got any customer service rep in the United States. I had one person tell me in broken English that it’s not a real bank with the same protections.

This company is the absolute worst. Their customer service by far worse than any other company. They took money out of my account without merit. After weeks of arguing with them because they pretend not to understand ( or they are not able to understand) , I closed the account. I tried calling them now and the answering machine wont put anyone through if you don't have an account, I still have an issue because they sent a letter saying the credited my account now, even though the account is closed. Can't call and can"t get my money, A 1 is too good of a rating for this company

My account was hacked. They basically called me a liar and said I withdrew the funds. I went thru their 2 week process and waited on supporting documents that never arrived. When I contacted them again they said they would resend them with the same 2 week window... still waiting on them to file a police report. This bank is a joke and a scam. Please don't trust your money with them.
