Milgard Windows and Doors was founded in 1961 by Maurice Milgard, Jr. and his son Gary in Tacoma, Washington. Milgard extends a Full Lifetime Warranty to Tuscany Series and Trinsic Series products. There is a Lifetime Limited Warranty for Ultra Series, Style Line Series and Aluminum Series. Please see company website for complete warranty details on any and all products.

Our original appointment was before Christmas which would have been great to have them repaired for our holiday guests. That appointment was changed by Milgard the day of the appointment to after New Years. We stated we wanted an afternoon appoint but was given an early morning appointment. The windows are corrected by now and appreciate that our lifetime warranty with Milgard is still in effect.

Excellent service! The Milgard technicians were efficient, highly competent, and concerned about the cleanliness of the work site. In fact, they had removed the old window, replaced it with a new one, cleaned up the area, and were on their way to their next job in less than thirty minutes. Additionally, I gained an appreciation for how well made Milgard windows are, allowing for straightforward service if the need arises. I would not consider any other window than a Milgard window for any future needs. Thank you for a job well done.

The window of installation was between 9:00-11:00 and The installer showed up at 9:00!!! He was very professional and wore slip covers on his shoes, thoughtful touch, didn’t go unnoticed, and performed the repair without a hitch!! It was a great experience and the company was very through in repairing said window!! Thanks again for the quality and execution of the repair! I couldn't lock my Tuscany series sliding patio door in the secondary lock position to leave it slightly open. My scheduled appointment time was for 12:45p but Mike called and asked if he get come early, if course I said yes! He got right to work making the necessary adjustments and made sure everything was in alignment within the channels. He explained that my door had a primary and secondary lock. The primary being the door handle and the secondary if I wanted to leave the door slightly open at night. He made sure I didn't have any other concerns and told me that if I had any more problems to call. I really appreciated his friendly professionalism and for calling to see if he could come earlier than originally scheduled. I love my Milgard windows and how nice they look.

They replaced my two windows that had a broken seal. However, one replacement seems to have some scratches on the glass. I thought it just needed a good cleaning. But after lots of windex and lots of scrubbing inside and outside, the scratches remain. It's better than what it was (foggy & smeary), but I was hoping my front view would be as clear as they used to be when I first had them installed. Bummed that there are scratches on this replacment. Other than that, I was very pleased with the process and the installer. He was great!

We bought our windows from Farmer's Building in Grants Pass OR. So we didn't deal with Milgard directly. Milgard has replaced a couple glass window panes. This is the first time they have done any window repair. The gentleman was very efficient and finished the job quickly. He was here earlier than expected as he had a cancellation. Good thing I came home from my short walk, instead of doing my regular long walk. He had left a message on my phone. When I called him back, he was already in my driveway. I had several windows replaced and Andy K and Alex serviced them. Both Andy and Alex did an excellent job. Some of my widows are in a clear story and Andy not only installed them all but when done grabbed a broom and cleaned all the cobwebs out. His service was above and beyond!!! Just have to comment on Bonito your Milgard technician..., Bonito's mannerisms and overall professionalism was very impressive, I have been a remodeler and a master of my craft for years... This glass replacement was not in the best of positions semi-behind a gas freestanding stove in the corner of our master bedroom on the ground floor. The outside is covered in landscaping plants and a little difficult to get to. Bonito was careful of the garden and did little to disturb it... But he was fast on the draw with his tools and relevant installation materials. He had this replaced in lighting speed in under 15 minutes traveling to his truck and back... Current outside temperatures in the 80's... Well done Bonito, anyone that has the opportunity to have this Glass man on the job will do well to stay out of his way! LOL 😂 He was Glazing at brea neck speeds and very communicable in the process! Milgard, you have an exceptional person in your employment... Sincerely, Gary Clevenger, CEO, Gold Crest General, Inc. Lots of Milgard inefficiency and time to get my two windows replaced. I am the original owner and I required two windows replaced that had failed. I submitted a claim and Milgard arrived a couple months later to replace the windows. One of the two windows was not correct so the service tech placed an order for another. Couple months later, the tech arrived again but window was still not correctly made. Couple months later, tech arrived with correct window and job was finished. I tech seemed to do a good job. I fault Milgard for making the incorrect windows.

After submitting the warranty claim online, I realized after when the confirmation email was sent, it was listed at our home address and not the job location. It was not easy to get that info changed. After two calls and on hold for extended periods of time, the address was changed and a new service date set. Service tech was prompt and repaired the window fast. Very happy with the service but not happy with the process submitting the claim.

My rating is for the whole process of having two window panes replaced under warranty. I give Norm who came today to replace the windows 5 stars. He was friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. But, it’s get these windows replaced I filled out an impersonal online form, I couldn’t just call my local rep as I had done in the past. Even with the automated form, Norm was sent two extra window panes beyond the two that I requested. On top of that, I was told the windows would be shipped to Bozeman on June 5. I After a month, I tried to find the status on the Milgard website. I had a case number but there seemed to be no way to use it to get any status or review the form. I only just received an automated call a couple of days ago telling me when my appointment was (I had the option of rescheduling). It is a miracle I even picked up the phone since it was an unknown number. Before my rep would call and I would recognize who the call came from. I have had numerous Milgard windows in my house replaced under warranty. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had to get that done. The personal touch is gone and the misordering would not have happened if I had just spoken directly to my rep.

We had just underwent a full kitchen remodel and the only thing we were unsatisfied with was how our sliding milgard door barley opened. The installers tried multiple times to make it right but ended up giving up!! We decided to reach out to the warranty department. I've used them before in remodel situations and will use them again. Repairman commented about how much he liked my house, and even asked if I was thinking of selling it, because he was interested.

A little confusion getting my service scheduled because they said my sales order didn't have any doors on it, just windows. Apparently they was able to find the doors on my sales order and scheduled the service and the tech showed up on time, did a very professional job and only took him 15-20 minutes due to having to remove and replace the fragile trim work on the interior of the door. It took about a month for them to send out a technician to help with our problem. We had to call them back a couple of times before they responded with more than an email with an order number on it. Our problem was not a normal malfunction with the gears of our transoms window. The installers retrofitted the latch so we could open our loft windows 2ndstory, from the bottom first floor. The cap that was placed and fitted to the gears of the window latch is not holding properly so the 6’ pole is not connecting as it should. We couldn’t open the window using the pole crank, it could not catch with the closers gears. The tech was able to tighten the fitting so it worked and said it would probably fail. The Milgard gears still look pristine. The cap added for our pole is what is spinning. I don’t hold Milgard at fault for this. We will try to find a replacement cap thru the installers, a very old and competent glass company in our area. We’ll see how that works. Our problem was not fixed by the Milgard Tech and we’ll see what happens in round two with the glass company who sold and installed the windows for us.

Corrected what was probably rightfully the retail window company induced problem so 5 stars just for that. On a somewhat negative note, this year I've had both sides of a sliding door replaced. One was due to glass breakage; the other due to wrong type glass in the original installation. The sliding door is a type that has small venetian blinds incorporated between panes. Both times the replacement panels were ordered with the controls for the venetian blinds on the wrong side. (Fortunately, the installer has apparently encountered this error a number of times so he brought panels with controls on both sides - so 5 stars for Stan too.) This is a communication problem.

we built our house about 14 years ago and had Milgard windows installed. since that time we have had i think every window replaced at least once. when i notice a issue with a window i call Milgard and they have a local person (JAKE) contact me . Jake is absolutely the best representative that Milgard could have here in my area. he very courteous, prompt and very professional about getting my windows installed. Milgard may not have the very best window on the market but I guarantee that they have the best WARRANTY. If I ever build another house I guarantee that Milgard would be my choice of windows. I am very happy with the service i receive.

Initial contact was very helpful in finding the original order (24 years ago!) for my house and confirming the measurements and identification of the 2 failed windows. The installation technician (Vicente, I think) was very quick and professional. Wore booties inside and was very good about protecting the surrounding workspace and cleaning up afterward. He was courteous to recognize that I had just prepared my lunch (he arrived just before noon) and one of the windows was in the kitchen. He opted to start with the other window so that I could finish my lunch in peace. This is the second or third time that we have contacted Milgard for warranty replacement, and every time the company has been top notch! Would recommend them to anyone interested.

This is the second time I have had to use my Milgard warranty for windows installed when my house was constructed in 1998. On both occasions they honored their warranty to the letter. Today, at no cost to me, they came out and replace three windows that had broken seals without blinking an eye. This is the kind of company I like doing business with. Further, considering the number of windows in my house I find it amazing that they have held up so well. All four windows (combination of both claims) were on the south side of my house where they get hammered by weather yet they still held up for 22 years.

It sucks when your windows show that they’ve been infiltrated in between the glass. Once you see it, the problem only grows: I waited too long to contact Millard about our problem, “as far as my wife was concerned” it was true. After several years I finally did do what the effort entails, and to my surprise and happiness, Millard came through. Great service and communication. You need to do it all online.
