MobileHelp had everything that I wanted for my wife, at a competitive price. She uses the necklace when we're not together, and when we are, she just uses the watch bracelet. That seems to be very valuable. If we go out together, we take the mobile unit with us. When I called for technical help on an issue, the support person was prompt and did a very good job. It hasn't malfunctioned, and it responded well during the testing, convincing me that it was as functional as it should be.

MobileHelp had the features that I was looking for, especially just that you can go anywhere in the United States and you'll be covered. They're just so friendly and knowledgeable, and they seem to be able to take care of any problem right away. If there's a malfunction in your equipment, they'll place an order right away to send you a new piece, so you can send the old one back, and it's just really a great experience.

Somebody suggested your service, it is from my mom and she hasn't had to use it yet. I can say that if she needed it and she can press her little medical alert bracelet and get a response. I did a test on it. The service of your company is good, they were very helpful in every way. I'm a technical person, so I liked that they create all of their own equipment. They also had really good reviews, from what I read online. When I signed up for it, they shipped it out immediately, and everything worked out well with that side of it. When we set it up, we accidentally pressed the button, and they were immediately on the line wanting to know if I needed help. I live alone and wanted it in case something happens, so it's worth the cost.

I've seen it advertised, and I just called it. It seemed like they had what I wanted and needed, so I just went with it. Everything has been as it should be, just like what they told me. The equipment is just easier to deal with, but I have seen others that are little bit cheaper, by about ten dollars per month. One day, I accidentally bumped my wrist device, and right away they responded. I let them know it was unintentional, and they said it was no problem, and that they were just checking to make sure, so I was pleased about that.

My son and I checked it out online, and we just thought this one was the best. I haven't had to use it, but I'm a double amputee, and it's really good to know that I have something to rely on. My grandson wasn't feeling good once, and wanted to use it, and it was an immediate response. I was really pleased with that. I feel comfortable having it. Our children insisted that I should be carrying something when I leave the house, just in case, so they came out and explained everything to me. They were very nice, and very informative. We haven't had to use it yet, but I will I wear mine or throw it in my purse whenever I leave the house. I also make sure my husband puts on the necklace he has as well. I've seen it advertised on TV, and I thought I'd give it a try. So far what I've seen is better than Life Alert. I haven't had to use it, but it just gives me a security to know that if I fall or need help, it's available. They get right to you if you need it. I think it's a good a thing for the elderly to have so that they feel safe in their own home.

I got it mainly because you can take it with you when you leave your home. I got really good service when I first set it up. The kit that I have has the fall detection piece, the watch, and the piece that you wear on your belt. The quality of the devices seems to be great. I have not had it that long but typically I wear it during the day. I have a long drive to work so I usually wear it on my way there in the morning and on my way back in the evening.

I really needed this about year ago. I've been really good since then, but I had two terrible falls; one at home, and another actually in the hospital. The one at home led to a concussion and a broken back, since I fell out of a chair and off my patio. I needed to find a company I could work with after those incidents, so I could get help in case I felt ill or anything else bad were to happen. With MobileHelp, I feel comfortable now that I should get help. I think it's a fair amount to pay what I do. I told a friend about it, and she got it as well.

I have no concerns about the device except that the wristband could be better, since I have a larger wrist. Other than that, I love it. It will detect if I fall, and it lets them know where I am with the GPS. It's very easy to understand and use. I think the people that I have talked to personally have been phenomenal'very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very, very, very helpful. One of my necklaces went off twice, and they figured out what the problem was and we fixed it real quick. They call to check on me, and I really like that.

My upstairs neighbor and I got MobileHelp at the same time. We had a representative come out to the house. He was very clear and precise, and gave us good information. We asked him probably ten dozen questions. He was very patient and confident, and that was probably the reason we did; we feel comfortable with it. When I have called and had questions, like when I wanted to switch from a white watch unit to a black one, everybody was very accommodating. I haven't had to use it yet except for a few false fall detections during the night.

I had one of these little advertising cards for MobileHelp that comes in a magazine or a newspaper, about the part that goes around your neck, and I just called them up and got myself one after I started falling when my body became real weak. I just could not pull myself back up. I haven't fallen since I got it, but it's an assurance that if I do fall, I've got some way of getting up. They were just doing their job, and I really do appreciate having it around my neck, but I was fixing' to send it back because it kept going off at night, and I wouldn't set it off. They called me at 3:30 or 4 o'clock in the morning, and another time around 11 at night. I told them, "if you don't quit waking me up, I'm gonna send this thing back!" I told the gentleman that I was speaking with, "I'll call you the next time I need you." They haven't bothered me in a long time now.

What helped me make up my mind on MobileHelp were first, the courtesy I received talking to the person there, who answered all my questions; and second, what MobileHelp has to offer, with both home and away protection. I had done a lot of research on several companies and narrowed it down to two. I talked to both companies, went on the internet to review data, and decided on MobileHelp. I think they're the one of the best in the industry, and I plan to stay with them, probably for the rest of my life. The device is very sensitive. I know it works, because I went through the whole process when it was accidentally dropped while I was upstairs. I couldn't hear the base unit from up there, but I did hear the call come in to my cell phone.

Oh my goodness, the equipment that is available is easy to use, and I love just not having to worry about having something there if I needed it. I usually use the necklace; I put it on in the morning and wear it all day. It's very lightweight, so I don't even realize that I have it on, and then at night when I go to bed I take it off. I'm assuming it will be easy to use if I ever need it. The representative lady that I talked to was very selective and very helpful, and she answered all of my questions that I had to ask.

My daughter has bronchial asthma, so I got the device for her benefit, especially when I'm not around. One time, when she had an attack at school, I got a call from MobileHelp to let me know that they had gotten a signal from her. They patched me in and called the school and they were all able to locate her classroom while Mobile Help stayed on the line with me. I do have mixed feelings about it because of what happened another time, though. She was out with friends and was supposed to check in with me by a certain time. When she hadn't, and was over a half hour late, I called MobileHelp customer service and asked them to tell me where she was located. They said at the time she was by the Old Navy store at the mall. I went to find her, but she wasn't there, and when I finally could talk to her later, she said she had never been there. Overall I think it's a good device to have. It's certainly alleviated any worry that I normally would have with her, and it's a good system. I think any system is going to have some kinks, but the benefits outweigh that. I'm in a town where I don't have any relatives. I don't have anyone that I can depend on, and so it really helps me with that.

I can't place a monetary value on the peace of mind it gives me just to know that when I'm not home and something happens to my mother, somebody will be available to come help her. I had looked into it on AARP and on Consumer Reports and it just looked like it was going to be the best option for my mother and me, for a variety of reasons. There have been a couple of false alarms with our fall detection service, but nothing we had to call technical support over. The necklace just wasn't made for someone quite as short as my mother, so she has to wear it really short and close to her neck in order for it to work properly and avoid more false alerts. Other than that, we like them enough that I already have recommended them to other people. They've been terrific when we've called with the false alert. They knew exactly what to tell us.

I had some problems when I was trying to set it up, and I activated it like it was an emergency. A lady answered and helped me finish the setup, and she made sure it was done right. These people are trying to care for you, and they're actually there for you. The system has everything I need, and I especially wanted it for the fact that I can take it with me in the car. I was convinced by the different options. There's a unit for the home, and another that you can take with you when you leave and go out. That's what I was looking for; it seems that most companies offer one or the other, but not both of those options. I can go anywhere! I'm not confined to my house. It gives me a sense of security that I have something in case nobody is here with me, and I fall or something, and can get somebody to come help me. I recommended it to anybody. Everybody I talked to is very nice and helpful. Even when my grandson pushed the button they understood; it happened sometimes. My grandson pushed the button that one time, but I've been very lucky since I got it. I carry it with me, I have it on, but I haven't really had any reason to use it yet. My financial advisers did the research, including using Consumer Reports, and they found a whole list of various current alert systems, and this one was first in line. I thought well, why not shoot for the top one, I'd read all the comments about it and what people thought of it, and it seemed like the right thing to do. I haven't had any trouble, and there's somebody there that can answer my questions. I'm having to be very careful with the pendant. When bending down, or putting things in cupboards, or when I get down on the floor and do floor exercises and things like that, I'm concerned that it might go off. I'm trying to figure out where's the best place to put things. I was in bed the other night, and I had a bad dream, during which I reached for the pendant. I woke up and apparently I must have really touched it unconsciously, because then the big main box that the man speaks through went off. It was 6 o'clock in the morning, and I thought, oh good grief, I don't want all my other people to be called to come over here for nothing when it's really cold out, so I dashed for the phone and I told them this was a false alarm. I got to thinking, what if I couldn't have dashed, but I still didn't need any help? I called back to MobileHelp and they pointed out that I had tried speaking into the pendant, and it was only then that I learned that you can't speak into the pendant; you can only speak to the big box and the mobile device.

MobileHelp gives me a feeling of security. I have very bad knees and a bad hip, so I could fall anytime, and just makes me feel much more secure to have that available. In my research of several different companies, through AARP magazine, I found that it was trustworthy. I wear the pendant during the day when I'm walking around the house, and then I have the other unit that's good for further away strapped in my purse, so when I leave the house I have that always with me. I liked the ability to take the panic button along with you when you go outside the house. I have not used it yet, but I take it with me, like when I go to my men's club meeting, or when I volunteer at the local hospital, or shopping. They always answered any questions, and when I accidentally hit the button they were very courteous and understanding. Sometimes there was a little delay between when I accidentally hit the button and the call went through. They did answer, and it wasn't very long, a matter of ten to fifteen seconds maybe.

I was reading some feedback that I got in the mail, and I went ahead and I thought, well, I'm going to try it and see what they offer. I got a lock box and a month free. I had already had some experience with something similar, and so I just thought I would try and see how it works. They said to test it once a month to make sure it works. I did, and I could hear it in my bedroom. My experience has been that I haven't had any problems. So far everything's been good with it, so I am satisfied right now. It's expensive, but you need it, and I feel safer now with it. I already recommended it once, so I would recommend it again. I assume that everything would be fine because I know the button works.
