What I really like is the fact that it does not make unnecessary calls. My last device would make calls sometimes just for no reason and that was very irritating. Sometimes I couldn't reply right away and I would get calls from them. I wasted a lot of time. Since I've had my medical guardian I have not had that problem and I really appreciate that.

I used Medical Guardian a few years ago for my mother, worked great. Now I need something for my wife and I, we are in our 70's, so, without hesitation, I went back to Medical Guardian for the protection, medical alert and fall protection. I purchased the mini and wear it around my neck and drop it under my shirt, don't even notice wearing it, but its there when we need it.

The operators answer immediately, even when the call button accidentally falls or is pressed accidentally. Also, when I needed a replacement for the button, it came even more quickly than the company's customer service rep had assured me it would. Further, when I put the device on the charger, a pleasant human voice announces, "charging," which relieves me of any doubt about that.

We have used Medical Guardian for my 88 year old father for the last year. I had researched the various medical alert companies and this one kept coming up with great customer satisfaction. We are so pleased with this service, from the emergency assistance to the customer service support. This was reinforced by my father's recent broken transponder that Medical Guardian replaced immediately with "overnight" mailing service. I would only recommend Medical Guardian to anyone seeking this type of service.

Unlike other products this is one small device worn around the neck or wrist. Does not require a landline or home internet service, or any other “equipment “. No issues with getting device wet in the shower. I paid approximately $275 for 6 months. Would have been a little less expensive to pay for a year. No other fees. Speaker on device and reception very clear and audible. So far very pleased.

Shana knew I was so nervous about setting up my husband's medical guardian phone, email account, and mobil accounts. My husband can be very difficult. I warned her that he didn't even want to wear the watch although he had agreed to this program. However, Shana was so gracious. She talked to my husband as if she were his daughter. What a professional. She was so professional and is a great asset to your program. It also helps because my husband is from Philadelphia!

My 82 year old, sister-in-law, became ill at a hair appointment. She didn't know what to do the hair dresser called the emergency team. She is home alone most of the time, I assisted she and her son in setting up Medical Guardian. This give the whole family peace of mind. The customer service and assistance has been amazing so far. We are so thankful this is a service from a most reliable company which is affordable on her retirement income.

UPDATE on 4/16/19: I'm upgrading my rating to four stars, as the company reviewed my mother's account after my original comments were posted. As a result, the $35 restocking fee was refunded, thus covering my return shipping, and then some. Thank you. ORIGINAL COMMENTS: The I'm in a mood to give one star, but to be fair I'll give three, because my gripe is not about the emergency response, which is certainly most important with a medical alert system. My mother died less than 9 months after signing up (and prepaying for a year). I called immediately to cancel service. I was told to return the equipment, and an appropriate refund would be issued for the remaining 3 months, so I was expecting a refund of about $112. The phone agent asked that I insure the shipment for $350 (so I paid extra for that). I also thought it wise to get a signature confirmation on the shipment, so paid almost $18 total for USPS shipping fee. Six weeks later, still no refund, so I called to inquire. The phone agent says they cancelled service when the equipment was received -- the date she quoted was 13 days after the date USPS tracking information shows -- but more importantly, she states that no refund is due because my mother received a promotional rate at sign-up, receiving two free months, and there is a $35 restock fee. So I guess the two free months are applied to the END of the year, rather than the beginning, which is screwy. I'm really annoyed, and am sincerely wishing I hadn't bothered to return the equipment. I'd have $18 more in my pocket, and would feel slightly less like we've been cheated. And my refund would be exactly the same amount -- $0.00. In fairness, I'll say that the response was adequate when my mother tested the equipment. Thankfully she never had need to use it in an emergency. But I'm still ticked off.

I Worked with one of the reps in sales and he was more than helpful. I had lots of questions, and they answered all of them for me. This was a purchase for my Mom, so I had to get all the information together in order to purchase exactly what she was wanted (and needed). I called back a couple more times with additional questions on the equipment, and they were also answered. I was happy to place an order with a company that must pride itself on customer service because everyone I have spoken with has been great!

Friendly staff, explains the use of the equipment. Setting up is easy and response calls during testing were audible. Having a metal roof may reduce signal (my cell phone especially) and Medical Guardian is aware.But, it worked during testing. I like that it can be used across the country. Has GPS. I was reviewing the other brands and the reviews for MG were the most favorable. I have yearly payment scheduled.I can cancel any time. Delivery. Was fast.

We had bought this for my mother for Christmas. Well my 80+ mother is stubborn & said she didn't need this yet and had us send it back, so I can't rate how it works. But customer service was awesome! They explained how it worked & which one would be best for our circumstance. When it is time to over-rule mother we will be going with Medical Guardian.

My partner had Medical Guardian so I was familiar with the activation and its workings. However, my concerns were different since I am alone now and had other concerns beyond health emergencies at home. The Customer Rep was very helpful in resolving any my concerns. The fact that you had a water proof wrist band was at the top of my list in selecting Medical Guardian. The promotion available at the time certainly saved me two months of payments making the yearly costs very competitive.

Days within getting the device my grandma had a fall. My mom lives next door and we were lucky enough to be able to get to her right away. With out her medical guardian she could have been left stuck on the floor for hours in pain until someone found her. She did break her hip unfortunately. But she got the needed medical attention fast, and was able to become comfortable instead of suffering in pain and alone. I am so thankful we didn’t wait to make this purchase.

when i was evaluating the system - i should have been told at the start the option of GPS tracking versus my brother yelling that i did not invest in a product for my mother that had that capability. I had to defend my position not realizing i could have gotten a unit that came with GPS tracking and quieted my brother right away. my mother is pretty much house bound except for us taking her out so the GPS is hardly an issue...my brother anticipates ( positively) my mom will soon be out and about which would be spectacular ...though again i was not happen to learn i was not fully informed at the start.... Otherwise the system is stellar. the representatives are courteous and prompt. we have not had to utilize the service for which we purchased the system however it is wonderful to know we are armed and ready if and when my mom needs emergency service and or when my mother falls unconscious. After conducting side-by-side comparisons of these types of products and companies, I decided to go with Guardian for my Mom. She is 95 and recently fell and had hip surgery. Guardian was clearly the best value and customer reviews were very positive. The Customer Service Rep was friendly and very helpful in providing a detailed explanation. Delivery was prompt with components neatly packaged and undamaged.

I have Medical Guardian now about 2 years and have had to use them two to three times. They answer the phone right away giving you your name and if you need help. They will contact Emergency and before you know it they are at your house. They also will also notified loved ones. I use the pendant and wear it 24/7 and even wear it in the shower. I have never had it go off accidentally when I'm sleeping. I can also use it out in my garden.

This company is awesome! Go it for my mom and if she even trips it alerts and asks her if she's ok. That's how sensitive it is. As soon as she fell a voices says France's are you all right? My mom got into a car accident Upstae NY when she was visiting my sister. Today, I got a call from them stating she was not responding and called 911. Turns out my sister and mom were in a car accident and they called me before my sister even had a chance. They are amazing!

Extremely satisfied and feel very safe and secure no matter whether I am at home or out and about. I have fall protection as well. Service is quick and reliable. The primary reason I chose the Premium Guardian is the ability to speak with emergency response thru the call button vs. a base unit in another room. The 2-way conversation is loud and clear. Only one problem has arisen with the monitor detaching from the lanyard cord twice for no apparent reason which could have resulted in the loss of the monitor! I would advise taking the offered add'l. insurance the company offers to cover any loss which you could be responsible for the cost of replacement.

My wife had one and she wanted me to have one. So I bought it mostly just to please her. It works. I used it one time when I bumped into a concrete wall with my car and I just called a tow truck. I'm impressed with it. It's a good thing, anywhere a cell phone works it works. I didn't know what I was doing when I set it up I just charged it up and hung it on me and it worked perfectly that one time when I was far away from home and someone came right away. You don't have to learn anything you just charge it up and hang it on. It works, that's all.

It's been good so far they were very helpful. I think that there are some limitations and there is only one speaker system and she might not be able to use the alert in the house. One thing that I think might be good is if they actually talk with their device on or have like the ability to talk into their device as suppose to having a speaker in the house, so have it like on her wrist. Is there a feature where they can talk into their wrist bracelet or necklace?

I found Medical Guardian online. I will be 85 in December and live alone, so I felt that I should have it for my safety. So far, my satisfaction with Medical Guardian is 100 percent. My brother and I purchased it for my mother's house. I hate to say it but she is not wearing the necklace or the bracelet at this time. She keeps it close by but she does not like wearing it. I do not know why, she just does not do wear it. My mother is very proud and I guess she is just fiercely independent. We decided to get the service because my mother is 88 years old and lives by herself, so we felt it was a good thing for someone to be able to help her when needed. She lives across the street from me, and I go over and visit with her throughout the day and check on her but she is alone during the night. I am thankful we have not needed to use it but it is nice to have the assurance and knowing it is there.

I had life alert and I did not like it. I had to change for some reason. I just looked up on the internet and found Medical Guardian and called them. I liked the service. The system is for my mom. She is an elderly lady so we needed the thing for her to wear it around her neck. My mom had a broken leg and she is recovering from that so we needed something in case she falls again. I 100% satisfied. The setup was very easy and understandable. I do not have any problems with it.

I purchased one of those alert band wrists for my mom because she is going to be 90 years old. Everything has been fantastic. There have been no problems. The salesman were really good and they knew what they were talking about. Nothing but polite. The equipment was very easy to handle and very easy to set up. With one call it was set up within minutes. What I like about medical guardian is once in awhile they would call to make sure your monitor is working. I really appreciate that because I am very busy. It is really helpful.

Josephine has the neckless with the monitor and she likes it because she can take it anywhere she wants to go. We like the way you can hook it up yourself and get everything started. I did some research on the internet and I looked at the analysis of who were the best ones and Medical Guardian is at the top 3 and their overall rating is the best one. We purchased plan where you punch the button and you call an ambulance. My wife needs it because she is not in very good health. So far the system has worked, we have used it twice. The installation was really easy because you just push a couple buttons and they do the hook up automatically for you. I give Medical Guardian 10 stars right now because it has worked the time we needed it.

I learned about Medical Guardian online. My mother was getting older and she still drove, so I wanted her to have some protection when nobody is with her so I decided to sign her up for the mobile service. I am been satisfied with the experience thus far and the sales rep that helped us was good. The service is easy to use but I think when Medical Guardian is set up for an elderly person, they should let us know that you can actually put in somewhere and say where there is a hidden key and how to get into the house if someone can't come to the door. My mother had a stroke and one of the responders came to the house but couldn't get in because her door was locked. We didn't know we were allowed to tell them.

My daughter told me about Medical Guardian because I live alone and sometimes fall and cannot get up. Before I had Medical Guardian, I fell and luckily someone came by and found me and took me to the hospital. Since I've had Medical Guardian, I have pushed twice and the equipment worked fine. I like that I can take it with me anywhere but do not have to take it with me if I don't want.

So far I've never needed your services but I've accidentally triggered my alarm system 3 times. Was very worried about my father being alone at home during my work day. He had fallen a few times, once while I was there. He told me one day that he was on the floor for about 2 hours before he could pull himself into the living room to the sofa for support to get back up. I called the that night to order the Medical Guardian. It arrived a few days later and the install was very easy. They have you do a test run to make sure the call goes through and what to expect. We haven't had to use the service yet but I can rest easy knowing, I'll get a call as soon ass something does happen. I would recommend this to anyone who has to leave their mother or father home alone. Cindy B.

Product is well designed and uncomplicated to use. I tested the distance limitation from the base station and found that the alert button worked well outside as well as inside. The pendant is lightweight, too. Customer service and technical support have been able to answer all of our questions and were exceptionally patient with our testing from inside and outside of the house. The monitoring company representatives were very calm and gave my folks reassurance that help would really be on its way should they ever need it. Bravo!

My sister and I researched medical alert systems independently, and both of came up with Medical Guardian as the top choice. Imagine my surprise when the expedited delivery fee was waived and a free lock box was included with the order. It was easy to set up, simple to activate, and the staff members we spoke to on the phone were polite and professional. I hate wearing anything around my neck or wrist, but I don't even notice that I'm wearing the pendant or the wristband. I feel much more secure in my home now.

I have called a couple of times -accidentally - and the Responder has been very patient. I didn't realize that the responders voice comes over the modem or whatever that thing sitting in the charger is called. I am concerned since I keep mine by the front door to remind me to take it when I leave the house. If I fall back in my bedroom can the responder hear me?

I really appreciated the Lady that helped me decide what i was needing. I didnt understand nothing about what she was explaining to me.while she was talking to me asking questions i started understanding what the things was. It was an eye opening feeling knowing that i was going to be as safe and that if i pushed the button on either one of the life savers then i had nothing to worry about cause the person on the other end would have everybody coming to me. I was so proud of the lady that was talking to me explaining all this to me. If it hadnt been for this really sweet lady i dont think i would have even talked to anyone and would have more than likely would have hung up my phone and never answered any numbers from that number or company. We had a great experience working with medical guardian. We were looking for a system for our Mom and Ed a consultant spent a lot of time talking with me and he advised us what was best for her and what would work at her rural residence. I can not review the call center as we have not had an emergency situation. Shipping was very fast.
