My daughter did all the research on it and, since I'm 90 years old, suggested I get this one. I keep it in my pocket all the time, though I haven't had to use it. I've tried calling them before but I could never get through to someone. The thing is that the literature that they give you with information on how to use the thing is in a really fine print. I have trouble reading it since I have problems with one of my eyes, so I need to use a magnifying glass to read everything.

I wanted it since I could take it wherever I went. I could have it with me when I traveled in my car and since the other services didn't offer that, I went with Medical Guardian. I haven't had to use it but when I tested it it seemed to take a long time for them to answer.

I'm usually out and about in the barn, at the garage, or somewhere else outside of my house. That's why I needed to have something that would take care of me while I was out there. I wear it anytime I'm out of bed, even if I have to get up to go pee in the middle of the night. The only problem that I have is that, when somebody is talking to me on it, I can't hear what they're saying. They're either not talking loud enough or the machine is not loud enough.

I just looked things up on the internet and thought they would be good to get for my mother. She has memory problems and since she insists on staying in her apartment on her own, I got it in case she fell and needed help. When we got it we thought that things would work out alright. My mom lives in a small two-bedroom apartment, so it's not a big place. We put the central unit, kind of the heart of the thing, in the center of the apartment. We were some 10 ft from the unit when we did our test call and they girl that responded couldn't hear us at all. If they can't hear us when we're that distance away, what would happen if my mother were to fall? They'll just send over help regardless of whether or not she needs it because they can't hear us. That was a major disappointment. They don't listen to what we have to say. It also takes forever for us to get through to a customer service person. On top of that, they just hang up on you or disconnect your call instead of asking you if you'd like to continue waiting. When my contract runs out next month I'll be looking for a different service.

I got it since I like that it works no matter where I am, I can be outside and use it. There was one incident in a restaurant where I had to push the button and things worked alright. I used to wear it all the time but it's a very cumbersome and inconvenient thing. The necklace was too heavy to wear around my neck, so I started trying to clip it to my clothes. When I did that, the button would just fall off all the time so in the end I just stopped using it.

I didn't know any other services other than Medical Guardian, so I went with it. The only time we've called customer service was when we set it all up. Things went just fine. I do wish I could have something a little bit smaller that my dad could wear around his neck. It's just really big and bulky right now.

I just googled it, read some descriptions from other users, and decided to go with Medical Guardian. I've never had to use it, but I've had a couple of accidents where I pushed it and they called me. I do wish that the button would stay on. It's pretty easy for the watch's band to pop open.

I have accidentally pushed the button a few times. One time the operator came on immediately. The other two, it took three rings. That might be a problem in a serious situation.

My husband did some shopping around and thought this would be best. I haven't had to use it yet, but the customer service people are very attentive and they get back to you as quickly as possible. The service has been responsive and responsible so far. The only thing is that I don't like carrying the big bulky device with me. I think it's the monitor or something but I've got to manage it and have it with me all the time.

i got fall dection for I fall alot due to parkensons cust service is great u need to train people better i I understood the fall dection isnt 100 % accurate but I didnt execpt 0% accuracy. I fell many times with the thing around my neck and it never went off.fell on nose never went off but broke and cracked front tooth. i called to test it and it still didnt go off so I asked for the cancelation dept there a guy said how about a new one that we shall test before sending out i said ok we shall see. new one is charing as i type

I was very disappointed in just the first week of use, that just by pressing a great grocery bag against my chest caused it to go off, and since i am disabled couldnt answer the home and cell phones quickly. So you then called my spouse ( first time so she didnt have your number plugged into her cell phone yet, therefore, not Recognizing the number didn't immediately answer as she was on the phone. However, she did call you back within just 1-2 minutes but was told the ambulance was already enroute to my home. It seems the design of the button could be better. I understand the need to allow easy access, but still feel it could be better designed so as not to so easily set off!!

I only rated it 3 stars for right now because my mother just started using it. I do know that I get an inordinate amount of phone calls from the company. Most of these calls relate to our satisfaction with the product. Enough already! I do get help when I talk to someone in Customer Service and they are very polite.
