When I've had to contact them, they've been right there for me. The device is good, though I would like to have a wearable device that did not require a separate contact device to communicate. The service also costs too much.

I picked it because it could travel with me anywhere. I've had it for several years now but I've only used it once. Thing was, there was a mix up and they ended up sending the people to the wrong address. We checked afterwards and it turned out they had the right address on file, but made a mistake when sending them out.

The basic device, which I used, was of limited use. Does not work outside the home and you can't speak into it and get a reply. Meanwhile, the most expensive system, in which you can do those things, is said to be heavy and clunky.

I got it because it covered all the medical problems and could get the fire and police departments out to help me. I haven't had to use it, though I've had a little trouble getting to an operator when I call.

I picked them because I liked fact that their device can be used both at home and also far away. In other words, I can travel with it and still be protected. I haven't had to use it so far but I have no concerns about it. It's kind of a necessary thing when you're 87 years old like me. I feel safe having it in case I stumble and fall.

Mainly, the reason I went with them was because they give you something you can put on your front door that lets emergency services in. That way they don't have to break down your door to come in and help you. Thankfully, I've never had to use it but I've never heard anything from them. They don't call to check in on me or to make sure that the thing is working, so I don't know if it's on. It would be great if someone could tell me how to check it myself.

Someone else told us about it, so we got it for my mother to use. The response time was slow. The other day I tried to check the number, and it took quite a while for a response to come back to me. I called and left a message because I wanted an upgrade, but nobody ever called me back and I had to call again.

I think it was the salesman who convinced me on it. I haven't used it, but when I do call to check, everything is done very quickly. It's big. I thought it would be a lot slimmer, and I find it cumbersome to wear, so I don't always wear it. If I'm with a crowd of people, or even 2 or 3, I don't wear it. I don't think I'm going to do it again next year.

My mother likes the bracelet and wears it always. We have a low battery alert blinking and called customer service. After waiting a very long time, for someone to answer, the service representative was not knowledgeable about the product. She told us that someone would get back with us within ten minutes to help resolve the issue but no called back. That was over a month ago. It is still unresolved.

Initially I got it because I did not have to worry about constantly charging the battery on my wrist unit. I've used it for both to test it and for an emergency but I'm not happy with it. I have to be close to the base unit or actually have it on me for them to be able to hear me and sometimes you just can't plan for that. I mean, you're secure if you have it, but if you don't you're on your own.

We actually cancelled our service. I mean, customer service was good but we were not able to use the device properly. Every time we tried to use it, it would not connect. We should've checked the coverage of the thing before getting it' On top of that, it was also little bit more expensive than the other companies.
