I just like the fact that you can call them 24 hours a day and they will respond. When my father fell we just called and they sent out the EMTs to the house. The only thing is that their response is slow.

I spoke with a good representative from their company and decided to get it for my wife. She's handicapped so, when I leave, I put the button on her. I've tested it a couple of times and sometimes it takes more than 2 or 3 rings for them to answer. I'd think they respond more promptly but other than that, the device is fine.

I found it on the internet, I had no idea from which to choose from since there were so many. Though it seemed Medical Guardian was the best one according to reviews. I haven't really used it, but I have tested it several times. I have had complications with it, not being able to reach an operator. I talked with technicians, that they were having problems with the cellular towers and they couldn't do anything about it. I just hope that if my wife has an emergency she can get the help she needs.

The necklace gets caught on sweaters, towels and the loop its attached so I have to untangle it often; need to carry base unit with necklace--extra thing to carry . They have called me on false alarms. it would be great if they improved the necklace. I like that its light weight and has been mistaken for jewelry.

I studied how they manage the company and I like the best that their answering people were in the United States. I haven't had to use it I only inadvertently set it off once and they answered right away. There's one thing about it that I don't like, the little plastic prongs on it broke and I won't hold to the lanyard that I wear around my neck.

My wife did a lot of researching; She works in the medical field and at the end, the most recommended company was Medical Guardian. We got it because I fell down before and I had several injuries. I have no problems with the device and I never had an emergency for use it recently. I'm happy with it and it gave me more security when I'm home alone.

The only thing that we don't like is that the Lock Box is outside and the climate here is really cold and in my opinion, it will generate problems when the emergency people try to open it. The rest of the services had been excellent. I'm really happy with Medical Guardian.

I just got an offer by mail in May, since then I got it. I've already used it once, I fell in the floor and I couldn't get up. I pressed the button and they send me an ambulance after I talked with the operator. I'm not happy with that service because I didn't receive the best attention and I want to cancel the service for that reason. I don't want to use it anymore.

I bought Medical Guardian because it was rated very high compared to other companies. I've been very pleased with the security that it provided me, my only concern now is that I got it while I was living in the United States but I live half of the year in Canada. I was told that I have to change the device that I had for another one that supposedly will provide me with the service that I need. After all Medical Guardian wasn't able to give me the correct one, they said to me that they can't provide me the service that I need. I had to cancel.

I got it for my mother. I really don't know to what degree the thing works. Sometimes I get an email when the thing goes off but I don't think I've ever gotten a call. It probably has to do with the severity of the situation though.
