We do pride ourselves on having one of the fastest response times in the industry, but sadly there are times when we are not able to answer as fast as we would like. When a large number of people press their buttons within a small time frame, our monitoring specialists could all be busy dealing with other potential emergencies and sadly it will take longer for your call to be answered.

The reason why there is no reminder to test the system is because we actually test the system ourselves once a week. This test is silent, and as long as there are no problems you would never hear anything about it.

The only way that you would be contacted is if the testing concluded that there was a problem with the device; then we would contact you about how to resolve the situation.

I hope this clears up why we do not need to remind you about testing the device.

Unfortunately, there is no Fall Detection Pendant that works 100% of the time and companies are upfront about that. Though it is a great device for users who may suffer from seizures or black outs, we will always recommend a user to press the button if physically able to do so.

Unfortunately we need to make the devices extra sensitive so that they can be easily pressed and so that it can detect a fall easily if need be.

This can cause the device to go off accidentally at times, but we would much rather it go off accidentally than not go off at all when the situation calls for it.

They had the medical alert at a great price and the product itself was comparable to other ones out there, so I got it for my mom. The button is designed to be very easy to use but if we have questions we can just ask them. Normally a lot of those questions are covered in the documentation that the unit came with and also in the frequently asked questions section of their website. They have been absolutely on the spot and are quick to help with anything you might need. They just seem to be doing a great job. It gives us a huge peace of mind to have the device with us and to know that it works.
