I’m so gIad to have this opportunity to tell my story about my Lifestation. On the 13th of September I went out to my backyard and while out there my knee buckled and I fell and broke my ankle in several places. I guess I might have been out there for a long time if not for my Lifestation. It was literally a lifesaver and I was able to call EMS and get help very quickly. Like everyone else I never thought this would happen to me, but it has and I’m laid up in the hospital and will transfer to a rehabilitation facility tomorrow for a long stay while I try to recuperate and get stronger. Thank you Lifestation, for your wonderful service at a reasonable price and great customer service. I would recommend you to anyone.

Sales and customer service personnel were extremely knowledgeable and patient. They were able to verify that the LifeStation Medical Alert device had all the features we wanted (easy to set up and use, fall detection, water proof, GPS locator, single device with base station (not multiple devices, no additional charge if accidently activated, no contract, reasonable monthly cost), The alert responders have been very kind, supportive, and very quick to respond. We got EXACTLY what was advertised and everything we wanted. Thank you so much! I can sleep at night knowing my Mother and I have this additional safety support and she can continue to live alone in her own home.

It was fantastic. The devices are easy to use, all were given free of charge. The only payment I make is the monitoring service. I need this because I live alone in a dense forest and my nearest neighbors are quite removed physically from me. They wouldn't hear me if I cried out or fell. The monitoring device senses a fall and calls 911 and instruct the EMTs ow to enter the house and find me. In addition, the system conducts regulars tests so I know is is working or they warn me it's time to recharge it. Customer service is Delivery of the device was quick, instructions for using it were easily understood, and the regular checking on its functionality is very comforting. All parts of the locks and devices are guaranteed and if need be, will be replaced without cost to me.

I haven't had my Life Station Alert for a long time, but I think it functions very well. I had them remove the fall alert as it went off several times and sent a text to my daughter each time. That gave her cause to worry each time. I had not fallen in each case and wondered if I am too active for it at this time. If I need to reactivate the fall alert in the future, I will certainly do that. The company was very easy to work with as far as what I needed and quickly took off the fall alert. When I did a test alert, the call was quickly answered and they knew who I was and where I live. They were also quick to respond on the fall alerts and made me assure them that I was alright. That made me feel very confident.

The fall detection can seem oversensitive at times, and this is partially by design. We need to make sure that the device can detect any kind of fall, and for this reason the device may activate when there is no emergency. We would much rather the device activate when there is no fall than the device not activate when a fall happens.

That being case, taking off the fall detection is a great way to avoid causing your daughter unnecessary worry. And as you said yourself, if you would ever like it to be turned back on simply give us a call and we can quickly do that for you.

Life station saved my moms life. if she fell i could count on their assistance. One issue I was charged $50.00 after I return the station after she passed. WHY?

The reason for the charge is most likely because the device was not returned before a new monthly charge. When the device is outside of the building, whether it is being used or not, we are required to monitor it and with that comes a cost.

The way that our procedure works is that when the button is pressed, if it is an actual emergency we will go through the call list and contact them in the order that was set.

If however, the button press is accidental, we will send a text message to let you know that a button press did occur, but that the situation did not escalate to the point where we had to call the people on the list.

I hope this gives you better clarification on why you received a text message and not a phone call.

When I fell and broke my ankle, the response was not good. I couldn't get in touch with customer service and I'm laying down in my driveway with abroken ankle and customer service wouldn't answer and I just felt that all I did was listen to music while I waited and the queue for them to respond. The pendant keeps needing batteries and I have to wait five to seven days to receive a new battery.
