I don't know what anybody else charges, but I'd say it's a good value. I have two options to wear, and I think they're both very good. I had originally seen about MobileHelp in a paper, and I thought it looked pretty interesting, since it's a mobile device, so I just went that way instead of going with Life Alert. I'd more likely use it in case of a fall in the house, though.

I saw MobileHelp featured in my AARP magazine. They were very good about coming out and explaining everything to us and setting everything up. Everything is the way they said it would be. We each have a wristband to use because none of us can keep the pendant over our neck, and I also have the one that I take shopping with me. Everything is very simple and forthright, nothing complicated. We've never had to use it, and I'm just glad that it's here if we do have to.

I researched and they came up at the top. Some features of the device that we like include the device's sound volume, the amount of the internet service we can pick up is good for our area, and also the courtesy of their employees. I think they are a top-notch company. She's had to use it because her blood sugar dropped, and she's also had to use it because she fell.

I was convinced by the different options. There's a unit for the home, and another that you can take with you when you leave and go out. That's what I was looking for; it seems that most companies offer one or the other, but not both of those options. MobileHelp is also about the only one whose signal can reach through the bluffs here near where I live. They haven't given me any reason not to trust them. They've been very thorough when they explain something. They are there for you when you have questions, and they answer them.

We haven't had any problems with the equipment or any need to deal with customer support since I got this for my mother. They offered GPS, and it could actually be done in her area, which is kind of picky with coverage. She's had one other before that didn't have GPS, and this is a little cheaper than that one. It's also not hooked up to a phone system, so that's good too.

I haven't had to use it, but it's nice that it works the way it does, because it's gone off a couple of times, I guess when I have the necklace on, and it was just nice to know that they're always there. They call and I hear them over the monitor, and it's great. If there is an emergency, it lets you know that they're there.

I can go anywhere! I'm not confined to my house. It gives me a sense of security that I have something in case nobody is here with me, and I fall or something, and can get somebody to come help me. I recommended it to anybody. Everybody I talked to is very nice and helpful. Even when my grandson pushed the button they understood; it happened sometimes. My grandson pushed the button that one time, but I've been very lucky since I got it. I carry it with me, I have it on, but I haven't really had any reason to use it yet. It's there when I need it, it's security for me.

They seemed to have a lot of features that we were looking for: you can take it with you, you can wear it in a shower, and the price is relatively reasonable. Every time I called and talked to them, they were helpful, and I have no problem with them. I got it for my husband; I try to get him to wear it, and some days he did, but a lot of times he didn't take it with him. Of course, it can't help you if you don't wear it.

My financial advisers did the research, including using Consumer Reports, and they found a whole list of various current alert systems, and this one was first in line. I thought well, why not shoot for the top one, I'd read all the comments about it and what people thought of it, and it seemed like the right thing to do. I haven't had any trouble, and there's somebody there that can answer my questions. I'm having to be very careful with the pendant. When bending down, or putting things in cupboards, or when I get down on the floor and do floor exercises and things like that, I'm concerned that it might go off. I'm trying to figure out where's the best place to put things. I was in bed the other night, and I had a bad dream, during which I reached for the pendant. I woke up and apparently I must have really touched it unconsciously, because then the big main box that the man speaks through went off. It was 6 o'clock in the morning, and I thought, oh good grief, I don't want all my other people to be called to come over here for nothing when it's really cold out, so I dashed for the phone and I told them this was a false alarm. I got to thinking, what if I couldn't have dashed, but I still didn't need any help? I called back to MobileHelp and they pointed out that I had tried speaking into the pendant, and it was only then that I learned that you can't speak into the pendant; you can only speak to the big box and the mobile device.

MobileHelp gives me a feeling of security. I have very bad knees and a bad hip, so I could fall anytime, and just makes me feel much more secure to have that available. In my research of several different companies, through AARP magazine, I found that it was trustworthy. I wear the pendant during the day when I'm walking around the house, and then I have the other unit that's good for further away strapped in my purse, so when I leave the house I have that always with me. The one time I accidentally set it off, the call to me was immediate, and I greatly appreciate that. The device was very helpful, and they were very polite with a very rapid response.

I liked the ability to take the panic button along with you when you go outside the house. I have not used it yet, but I take it with me, like when I go to my men's club meeting, or when I volunteer at the local hospital, or shopping. They always answered any questions, and when I accidentally hit the button they were very courteous and understanding. Sometimes there was a little delay between when I accidentally hit the button and the call went through. They did answer, and it wasn't very long, a matter of ten to fifteen seconds maybe.

I wanted something that would work outside of my apartment building, and the salesman that I contacted was excellent. I made a call for technical assistance and it was very good. I use it everyday, it's comfortable. I'm wearing the wristband rather than the necklace, and it's very lightweight, and not bad looking. I have no complaints. I was reading some feedback that I got in the mail, and I went ahead and I thought, well, I'm going to try it and see what they offer. I got a lock box and a month free. I had already had some experience with something similar, and so I just thought I would try and see how it works. They said to test it once a month to make sure it works. I did, and I could hear it in my bedroom. My experience has been that I haven't had any problems. So far everything's been good with it, so I am satisfied right now. It's expensive, but you need it, and I feel safer now with it. I already recommended it once, so I would recommend it again. I assume that everything would be fine because I know the button works.

I'm trusting them completely because I live alone, and I've had open heart surgery and knee surgery, so I am completely trusting them and recommending them to others. There was a botch in that heart surgery, so I wanted something to put on my arm instead of my chest. I saw their device in a senior citizen pamphlet that I get every month, and that's why I switched, because I can wear it like a watch and I don't have to have that heavy thing dangling on my chest. I did call to make sure it was working one time, and they were very nice and checked it for me.

Really, I enjoyed that, because it made me feel safe in case I fall and no one's here to help me out. That made me know that it would detect my fall, and that's important. I was with somebody else and then I decided to switch to them. I liked the service I had, but this is more compact, modern. I like the fact that the sound is very clear. It doesn't have a lot of static and stuff and it doesn't make a lot of noise. I've only tested it a few times. I haven't had any emergencies yet with it. The customer service is good, though, and the value is pretty good. I thought it was a little bit less, but I don't have to pay until April. I'm not sure it is the best for me yet. I've had it for a while. I thought it would be better than the old one because it has a fall button, but the fall button doesn't work right. If you wear it around your neck the whole time, you just ring it till it goes off. I had a lot of trouble with it telling me I had a fall, so I don't wear it anymore; I just wear the bracelet. I think its' great to have, and they seemed to be right on the ball; they answer right away so that's nice, but the fall button is too delicate. Every time I'd move or lay down it would go off; that's crazy. I got to talk to a couple of people, and they tried to explain to me that you can't wear the necklace to bed, you can't do this with it, you can't do that with it... I mean, what's the purpose of having the fall button on it if it's that bad? I want something I can wear 24/7.

I called several other companies, and one factor certainly was the cost. There are some that are more expensive, and there are some others that are less, but I'm happy with this one. It's good to have it. I've trusted them enough to tell my friend about it, and she got it. She's glad to have it, too, because she stumbles a lot. I just have a regular day; I wear the wristband, and if I leave the house to go shopping or do appointments or whatever, I take my little GPS unit with me and hope and pray I don't have to use it. So far I haven't, but it's there, just sitting in my purse, happy as can be. It's like home or car insurance; you hope you never have to use it, but it's there in case you do. I had one phone call at 11:30 at night wanting to know if I was all right, because they said the alarm had gone off on the necklace. I've never even worn the necklace'it was still sitting where I put it when I got it'but somebody was Johnny-on-the-spot, so that was good. At least they were checking!

I am almost 84. I still stay in my own house and do my own driving. I thought it would be nice to have something so that I could actually get help if something happened to me. I wear the necklace around my neck in case I'm here by myself, and if I fall and can't get up or need some help. I feel like that help is right there at my fingertips. I had used ADT, and I decided that didn't want to spend the money, so I left them, but then I got scared. I was just thinking and remembered that Mobile Help had advertised on TV, so that's why I called them. I keep it with me all the time. It's handy and keeps me from being scared of falling. I've been looking at several different ones. The value is pretty average across the board with others. I tried this one and I liked what I heard, and that's why I went with it. It seems to be very convenient. It's small; I don't notice that I even have it on. I have no problems that would keep me from recommending it. I haven't had to use it, but it doesn't have to be an emergency. Whether I'm hurt or not, if I have fallen, I can call in, and they can call in a neighbor to come over and help me, so that's really a help for me, just knowing that I can get someone close real quick if I needed to. I leave it sitting by my bed at night instead of on me, but I get up in the morning and put it on. I wear it outside to work in the yard a little bit, or to visit the grocery store and come home.

On a normal day, I grab my GPS and my wrist thing, and out I go. I feel safer now that I've got that with me, and they can find me if I fall. Other ones I checked out were more expensive, but MobileHelp is within my price range. The devices don't take up a lot of space. The necklace, the wrist thing, the GPS box, and the charger are all small enough that they fit on my bureau, and they're not in the way of anything. Whenever I need a question answered or need any help for something, the customer support people are there to help me. They're very friendly and courteous.

They've got a GPS device that they can use to track this woman down when I need to find her. She will go out and get lost sometimes, and doesn't know how to get back home. So, we mainly got it for that, and also in case she was to fall while home alone. She has a pacemaker and she's going to be by herself a lot during the summer, and having the device takes a lot of the burden and worry off of us. She's also got the lockbox for the door key.

Considering my age and that I live alone, I thought that it would be a good idea to have one. I haven't had the opportunity to use it, because I consider myself at age 87 to be in really good health, but I want to make sure that no matter where I go or what I do I can get assistance immediately. If they weren't trustworthy, I would have never gotten the system. I can wear a device on my wrist and take it with me, or sleep with it. I have another device that I can take with me. I just liked the advertisement. I'd been shopping around, and I decided they were the best for me. I've got one regret, though. I got the wrist button and the necklace when I got back from my stay in the rehab hospital, and I had been wearing the necklace just two days, and the button fell off. I called MobileHelp and they said they would send another one out to me, another necklace and a button. So, I'm very pleased, not that it fell off, but that they're sending me another one. I've had buttons in the past and they never fell off, though.

We liked the price and what they have to offer. We have it for monitoring my mother-in-law 24/7. We've not had to haven't use yet. My children decided that I needed this. I haven't had any time I had to use it, except by accident. I dropped it on the floor when I removed my garment from my head. I pulled it off and it fell on the floor. First thing I know, I heard "fall detected," and then they came on and wanted to know if I was alright. I did tell them that I accidentally dropped it, and so everything was okay. They immediately responded, so it seems that it really works.

I wanted something where they would send help out first, and then notify my family members. A lot of them have been notified as family members then they in turn have to call 911 themselves. I wasn't pleased with that; I wanted something where the help would be first in line. I've never had to use it so far, and I hope I never do, but if I do, I have it available. I felt that the cost was really minimum compared to some of the others, but I just paid it for the whole year.

I decided on Mobile Help based on phone calls that I made during my research period, and feedback that I received. I really haven't had to use it yet, but a typical day is to make sure that I have the fall alert necklace on when I'm here at home, and then to make sure that I take the cellular unit with me when I leave home, so that I have access to help if I need it. A couple of times my alarm has gone off when it shouldn't have, and I received calls, so it's pretty responsive. I have no complaints. It's pretty sensitive, but I guess they all are.

I researched it to make sure that it was cellular-based, because we traveled quite a bit and that's important to us. Some of the others are just through a phone line at your house, and I wanted to make sure that when we're traveling we were still able to use it. That was kind of the deciding factor, and when I did some googling of the company and that made me decide to go with them. My wife is the one that uses it. We just go about our business and just feel safer knowing that in fact we have the device. She's by herself; that was kind of my concern, if I was traveling and away from the house, or she went someplace and she couldn't make a phone call, so it just gives her more freedom. I haven't had a lot of experience with it, but I have had two false alarms, and they called immediately and forgave me right away. I haven't had any issues with the equipment; it seems to work fine, including anytime we tested it. It's a product that we hope we never have to use, so that's our goal: to have it, but never have to use it.

I called it one time and I got results right away. It was at 1 in the morning. I was in great pain, and I called, and right away someone answered the phone and asked if it was me and if I needed medical help. I said yes, and right away they sent a team of people here. They told me what to do to ease the pain, they gave me Ibuprofen, and I was able to go back to sleep. They were very speedy in getting me the help I needed. I was in so much pain and it really mattered to me. The answering service is very good, a person comes on and answers you and talks to you, and that's very important.

Price is right. I can wear a watch-like as opposed to a not so attractive '''necklace.''' They provide a lock box for your front door. Ask that you hang on your icebox door all your medical information. I have a little instrument that I can carry in my purse when I leave the house which enables me to call for help. You can regulate the volume on the small console - very nice so your neighbors don't hear the loud response from the Mobile Help folks. I could go on and on! I haven't used it, but I wear it all the time. I love it, and so do my children, because I feel like I'm secure. I live alone in the country, and they were just so afraid that something would happen and I wouldn't be able to get help. My daughter who lives in California got it for me. All the equipment is very, very good, and seems to be very accurate and efficient. The lock box on the door is really nice.
