My daughter used to have one that wasn't working so she decided to get a different one for me. I had to use it on November 13th since my legs were bad and I fell. I pushed the button and they were pretty quick to get here and help me. I had to go to the hospital, but things went ok.

My niece purchased it for my mother. The device is simple to use, though there has been a bit of a learning curve for my mother. She's 97 but they have been really helpful with explaining things if needed. You can always get through to a real person. So far she hasn't had to use it yet but we've tested it twice already.

I got it for my patient since she was looking for something that she could use for life alert. I'm not sure if she has actually used it yet, but I know she tests it once a month or so. We had to go through them several times to get the right piece. It took us 3 attempts to get that sorted out and get the device that we wanted. Still, it's useful for the patient and money-wise, it's probably worth it.

I used to have that same thing before and since it worked out okay I decided to get it again. I haven't had to use it, but I wear it. It's easy to carry and wear, it doesn't really bother me. It's good as far as I can see though. It's there if I ever need it.

I saw three different services that offered what I needed for my mother. They just happened to be the first one that I called and I went with it. They started charging us for the service almost as soon as we signed up, but it took them a long time to get the device for us. We had to wait some three weeks till the device got here. Though in the end they actually gave us a free month because it had taken so long to get here. Fortunately she hasn't had to use it yet. I know that it's activated and everything but we don't really know how the response time is going to be. I think it could be cheaper.

I went with it because of the price. On a typical day I just wear the thing, though I've never had to use it. Customer service is very helpful and knowledgeable. They knew what I needed. The device doesn't seem to get in the way and I don't accidentally set it off with the pressure or anything.

I feel safer having accessibility to the Guardian button. However, There was a problem with getting my unit set up so that it worked, and although everyone I talk to was very helpful, it took way too long to get it set up. They finally sent me a new unit. And today I got a call saying that I need to send the old unit back, which I’m certainly willing to do, but no one’s ever told me where to send it or whether you pay the postage. So, it’s a mediocre start.

I thought it was the best company for what I needed, plus it had some good reports and it was less costly than others. I just got the system so I really don't have much experience with it. We actually had to return it after it arrived since the box part was faulty, but they sent us a new one within 2 days. We were able to keep track of it and everything. They were very careful in following up with us after that initial problem. They were very helpful.

It was actually provided to us for free through the place that we reside in. I've never had to use it at all. It seems to work fine but it's very loud. My wife is the one that investigated about it and got it. I wear the watch and she wears the pendant. I've had it for less than a month, so I have not had to use it. I saw it somewhere and after talking to a person of about half an hour it seemed to be what my sister and I needed. We got 2 separate plans. So far we have not had to use it, but it's all easy to set up. They give you excellent instructions, like the one about carrying your GPS unit when you're outside. We can use that one all over the United States.

I went with them since it had satellite access. That was great because there's a lot of cement in my house and the cell towers' signal don't go through. I haven't had to use it yet, but customer service has responded well. The only thing is that the device doesn't have a direct microphone access to the call center.

The first thing that convinced me of going with them was the price. I also liked the fact that they have the GPS system. I have not used it yet since I haven't had an episode since I got it and I haven't had to call customer service much, but I've tested it. I was out testing the device while I was away from home since I had never done that. It took them about 20 minutes to respond. They said that they were having problems with the towers in Texas, so I'm concerned about that. Apparently they only use AT&T towers and that causes some issues. Now I'm trying to decide if I should keep the equipment or send it back.

The reason I chose Medical Guardian was because my dad had diabetes. That meant he might have a sugar low and pass out. He also had fallen in the house when he tripped. Medical Guardian indicated it could recognize if he had collapsed to the floor. That was important in regard to his medical condition.

The premium device did not work in my rural area and sent back. They told me the mobile device would work in my area. I ordered it with the same results. I have sent it back. I gave them the reason I was sending it back and received a strong pitch to try a third device with less features. I had to say no many times. From this I had excellent service and at the end poor service which leaves a mixed review.

Only thing you can do better as when you push the black button. It starts to beep super loud so I can only test at about 10am in the morning when all persons above me go to work. Their should be a volume button on it. Sometimes I wait 12 loud beeps before anybody comes on.

My sister has one of these and she likes it, so I decided to get one myself. I haven't had to use it yet because I've only had it for about a week. I do carry it with me all day long since it has the GPS feature, I can take it anywhere with me even if I leave the house. I imagine that if I get a flat tire or other car troubles they'll also be able to help me. Customer service has pretty much answered all of our questions. I think it's a good device to have in case you fall or have an accident.

I liked that I didn't have to be close to my land phone to use the service. I've just had it for 2-3 weeks and thank goodness I haven't had to use it. I keep the base in my pocket since I don't wear the pendant or the bracelet. I guess it's a disadvantage that I have to carry it with me when go around the store doing my errands, but I can use it to speak with them. In the beginning I misunderstood and thought that I could use the bracelet and pendant as a phone sort of thing, but they explained it all to me and were very informative.

I tried a different service and wasn't satisfied with it, so I just went and switched to Medical Alert. So far it has been good. I haven't had to use it, but I've tested in the house and also when I was away from home. The GPS worked fine and I had no problem. I like the size of the bracelet and I wear it more than the one that goes around the neck. It just seems more convenient.

I purchased the service for my elderly parent. My parent is still in the initial stages of getting familiar with the device and has accidentally activated it twice. Once while they were away and the other while they were at home, in both cases Medical Guardian was alerted and called. The staff was excellent, answered immediately, and were very understanding. The relative they are supposed calle also received some follow up within a couple of minutes to keep them up to date.

We got it because it was what my mother in law needed, something that would be helpful if she fell and that was good to use everywhere. She hasn't had to use it, except to test it and notify them it works. She had a couple of minor falls and accidental pushes, but other than that nothing has happened. The call she gets after pressing the button is almost instantaneous, in a minute or two she gets a call and things get straightened out.

I tried to go with other services but they wouldn't work in my area. I've only used it for testing and when I accidentally bumped it this morning. I had some trouble talking with the lady then and she put me on hold. I heard nothing until another guy started talking all of a sudden and he couldn't get me. In the end everything started working just fine. They are generally very quick but sometimes they take 3-4 minutes to respond. The service is a little pricey too. Overall it has been a good experience.
