Just do not understanding billing as first billing was 384.45, I called was told that 134.85 is corrected amount for 3 months and a credit would be issued, looked a card on-line and 279.60 was billed. Really this is crazy!
Mom finally moved local to me into an Independent/Assisted Living community. Even though I am more at ease there are people around, both mom and I would feel better with a medical alert system. I contacted Medical Guardian via the internet late one evening. I received a phone call from Mike the following morning @ 9:00 a.m. Mike asked what our needs were, was very knowledgeable about the products, explained the process and was very caring. After consulting with mom, I finally called back to order the unit at 7:00 p.m. - - Mike was still there but just leaving. He stayed to place the order so we would get the system in time for moving day. I truly appreciated Mike and all he did!!

Everything was delivered, but even with help over the phone I was unable to get connected. When I pushed the emergency button no one answered, but unknown to me the company sent emergency help. I was not home and did not know this. I was called 4 times by some other company who did not have any recorded of me. I called Medical Guardian to find out what happened. The person decided that I was not in an area where the system would work. She is sending me a return label.
Everything works fine even when I accidentally punched the button while opening the package.They responded quickly to ask if I was alright. I now Know that it works.
I researched many medical alert services and Medical Guardian best fit my mother's needs. They were extremely accommodating, the equipment was easy to use and it gave our family peace of mind that the fall indicator necklace would activate even if mom was not able to push the alert button. The unit had a much larger receiving area than most others on the market. I also was impressed with the level of training of the response team members. As it turned out mom was only able to stay in her home about two months after beginning use of the monitor. There was no trouble with returning the equipment, no contract fee and I quickly received a refund of the prorated unused time since I had paid for a year in advance. This company was extremely professional. One note, be sure to keep all of the packing material when the equipment is received so it is easy to return the equipment when the time comes.
I have yet to experience the use of the service and quite frankly, hope we don't have to. So, in all fairness, the only review I can give would be related to the sales call I received shortly after I inquired. The gentleman I spoke to who wound up selling the service was very easy to talk to, friendly, professional and informative. He answered all questions and filled me in on the areas I didn't see when I visited your website. I had already done side by side comparisons and knew what I was looking for so it didn't take much, as I was informed. There was no pressure from him and that was a blessing because I will generally not buy from pressure. I look forward to having peace of mind while I am at work or out and about, knowing that my Mom now has another option in an emergency situation, and a simple one at that, one she can handle and understand. I will know more after we receive the equipment, but on the surface everything reads good. One thing I would like them to offer is a combination unit of the mobile equipment that I am getting and the fall equipment. I know that I can add it later, but I think it would be great if they had a combination of these two at a monthly price somewhere between the two separate pieces of equipment.
I was looking for life alert on the internet. I responded to 2 of them on line, medical guardian was one of them. Avant contacted me right away by phone. He was very pleasant and convincing me about his company without being a pushy salesman. He kept in touch and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It was a bit better than the other company. My daughter had to help set medical alert for me. I am all thumbs when it comes to anything mechanical. Once set up, it seems to work great. Haven't fallen and don't want to. The reckless can get wrapped around neck, so be careful at night.
