Outstanding Customer Service from Joseph S, my Loan Consultant. He was very empathetic towards my circumstances and the loan approval process for my debt consolidation was very quick‼️ The interest rate is fair compared to what you pay on credit cards and the optional loans are fair with no prepayment penalty. There is a loan origination fee and I would have given them 6 stars if there was none. The fee is a small cost, yet the loan is a tremendous help to me so it was worth paying.

I was frustrated last week about Freedom Plus, and wrote a negative review. However the company eventually made the situation right. I had made a payment early that was applied to the principal, not that month's payment. The first customer service agent wasn't very helpful—told me that she would ask management about reclassifying the payment but also took an adversarial approach. I had to call again to get someone's attention on the matter. However, that second customer service agent was very friendly and expedited my request, getting the payment reclassified in 1 business day.
