My experience was great! From Credit Katma, I learned that I would be eligible for a loan from Best Egg and they were right. The process took all of 5 minutes. Maybe 30 seconds for approval and the 4 minutes and 30 seconds to set up account, provide bank info and write this review. Thanks. On my way to a higher credit score!

Using CreditKarma, I chose a loan from BestEgg from the list of options. The process was reasonably straightforward. Most of the data was passed automatically from CK, apparently. Therefore relatively painless. Dunno how it would be direct from their website. I didn't like how when I paused a few minutes on one of the application screens, a Best Egg rep called me, saying they'd noticed I had stopped, and that she had offers for loans. It was A bit intrusive: If I weren't a pro web developer who knows exactly how that happens, I'd've been creeped out. I had paused for a phone call, so I couldn't talk to the rep, and then I finished the application without another pause/call. The wait was also a bit annoying...this was touted as a "quick approval", but it was the next day when I finally got another call from them, this one simply confirming that it wasn't identity theft, then the loan was approved. To my surprise, though, it sounds like it'll be another day or two before the loan is processed. Also longer than the "you can get your funds the same day you apply" sort of impression I got. The interest rate — for this unsecured, non-credit-consolidation loan — in the original listing on CK was among the best. But now that I'm approved, I'm having trouble finding my loan info when logged in on their website. Presumably I'll be sent some docs, but the website is all about credit management, like a discount CreditKarma, when I already have the real thing. Considering how sketchy, even bad, so many Marketplace Lenders like BestEgg are, this mixed bag experience still qualifies, to me, as exceeding my [low] expectations. Take that as you will.

I don't like the interest and I didn't like that kredit karma said I was qualified for$15,000 and you ask how much I wanted and I'm only getting $8,000. I do like the payment and customer service where friendly and very helpful.

Loan approval was very easy, other companies require 2 years tax returns, recent bank statement, and pay stubs. I only had to text a voided check and was instantly approved.
