I researched what was probably close to every available option out there for invisible aligners before deciding on Byte, for two main reasons: their customer service rave reviews and the Hyperbyte device. I did a fair amount of research before choosing an aligner company, and what sold me is that Byte's process is half the time commitment on average because of their technology Hyperbyte. Also, the customer service is phenomenal. I get an email every few weeks from a Patient specialist. I've even sent in progress photos so i can make sure I'm on the right track. I had Invisalign in the past but it didn't take. I knew how much of a hassle it was to get my impressions and all the orthodontists appointments I had to go through for Invisalign. So I was a little skeptical of a company offering a do it yourself no appointments kit. I have to say that I am glad I chose Byte. The kit came within 2 days. Plenty of instructions and videos to make sure your impressions come out right. Sent my kit back and within 3 weeks of purchasing the aligners, I had a full set of 17 weeks of aligners sent to my house. Super easy to use. I am 7 weeks in and I can already see such a difference. Also it only cost 1/3rd of Invisalign. If you are on the fence, I would take the jump and give Byte a try. Great company and amazing customer service.

Do not throw your money! I’ll try to make it as quick and simple possible. I was excited about this treatment as all of you, I placed my order on 7/2019 my treatment was supposed to be done by 10/2019 we are in March/2020 & I’m continuing my treatment. Once you finish your “whole treatment” it’s not over! You will have to order aligners every 3 weeks! Why? Because they only send you 3 sets at a time and do ground shipping, I’m currently waiting on more aligners as I type and I’ve been waiting FIVE weeks! All they have to say is “I’m sorry” I just got off the phone and asked if they could overnight to compensate my LONG WAIT TIME, they said no. So don’t expect to get sitting overnighted, all they want it their money, I paid my treatment in 3 months, everything went down the drain after that. BTW I had braces as a teen so don’t think I had crazy crooked teeth. I can still see myself wearing aligners for AT LEAST 4 more months.. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I am on week 9 of my aligners and they have not fitted correctly on my top teeth since week 1. I have made numerous contacts to byte explaining my dissatisfaction. The whole process from day one has been a headache. I can’t urge anyone enough to to just do it the correct way and go to your dentist and get properly fitted as proper treatment . Currently waiting out the 7 business days for a response now that they have decided to send my treatment plan back to the orthodontist.

I am on week 14 of 15. Having my smile straightened that fast has been wonderful! The retainers have even helped me kick some bad habits-like snacking and chewing my nails. I will say at week 14 my bottom teeth are not straightened fixed. I reached out to Byte as they have a guarantee and I was told they will fix my bottom teeth for free-with more retainers im guessing. Overall it’s been a good experience. Four stars because I need a longer treatment plan and because they hardly reach out to you once you buy the retainers.

I am at the end of my first week of aligners. It has been a great experience so far. All of the representatives I have talked to have been incredibly kind and helpful, and the aligners have caused very little discomfort. It was super easy to get used to. Byte is okay, it seems comparable to other services like smile direct. The hyper byte, although no research has been done by myself, is great if it really works to cut time on treatment. Contacted them for promised whitening which I still have not received, there were other discounts available I was not made aware of, they would not let me alter my treatment after they shipped it and I am kinda worried about their guarantee but I have not been able to test it out yet. It does not seem like they take care of the back of your teeth but you should be able to get a decent smile!
