Sent me aligners that don't fit and its been a nightmare getting help. I now have a box of aligners sitting that can't even be used by me. I requested a refund or AT LEAST to cancel the payments and quit the program but they requested note from Dentist. I had nothing but good things to day but once you guys receive your money and we sign the contract, no one cares anymore afterwards.

I am very early into my treatment so I will rate again once I complete. So far, Byte has delivered on both product and service. The materials and instructions are intuitive and so very easy to follow and understand. Communication during the pre-sale process is a bit excessive however I understand they want you to place an order. Customer Service, I’m my experience thus far has been excellent. Overall, I am very pleased with my limited experience thus far.

The process itself is pretty straightforward and has for the most part worked as advertised. I did however have to get a procedure done that they believed was causing my gap to reappear minutes after the retainers were taken off. $800 later the issue wasn’t resolved and their recommendation is a permanent retainer placement. I would have preferred that recommendation in the first place as it is less expensive and a sure thing. I feel like I wasted $800. I do like my new smile though.

Byte has a good product. They are making improvements and implementing new practices that are more client friendly. I particularly like that I can now schedule a consultation with someone face-to-face. It’s been a longer than expected treatment plan. As a client/patient one needs to be super proactive , something I learned somewhat the hard way. Make appointments on a very regular basis to be sure you’re on track.

I am still on my treatment plan (probably 85-90% done). I had really high hopes for Byte, reading all the reviews and hype, and seeing them market themselves as "doctor directed." I found the experience to be just okay. They are really hands off. I expected there to be a more robust monitoring and evaluation process throughout the treatment plan. You never really hear from them, and you really have to advocate for yourself and take initiative to set up check-in appointments, and flag issues. I never heard from or talked to a dentist. For example, I expected to get emails or notifications when my treatment plan was almost done to prepare for the next step. Nothing. They were really proactive when trying to sell their product -- not surprising. My original treatment plan was supposed to take about 2 months. I am now going on month 6. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as they are willing to keep working with you until you're satisfied. But I feel like they oversold their speed, and underestimate how much time it takes to fix a smile. I am happy with the way they responded and are willing to accommodate additional touchups and adjustments. Bottom line is that you'll really have to commit to make this successful for you. It's not like getting Invisalign at the dentist and getting that upclose and personalized treatment plan. Some of it you'll really just have to hope for the best.

He was incredibly patent and very through in making sure I completely understood the next steps. I am finished with my upper treatment and about 1/2 way through my lowers. The results I got were good and this is a much cheaper solution than what I was quoted for Invisalign. That being said, their customer service is terrible and no one told me that I could adjust the treatment plan before I purchased. Had I known this, I would have only purchased aligners for my bottom teeth. Any time I’ve had to reach out their customer service is sub-par. The product works though and my bottom teeth look much better than before!
