We hear your concerns, Keith, and we would like to provide some insight into adjusting the fit of the aligners. Trimming and adjusting aligners is a common practice throughout clear aligner therapy. When a customer seeks a chairside experience with clear aligners at their local dentist, the dental assistant or hygienist will adjust the aligners as needed for comfort. When a customer pursues a remote clear aligner company, it is their responsibility to adjust the clear aligners as needed. When there are areas that cause discomfort or are not fitting properly, we kindly ask that the aligners be trimmed or filed down.
