This company is nothing but a scam. They will find ways to not cover your appliance, or they will cover it but only pay for the part and you are stuck paying the labor/installation cost. Find a better company like American Home Shield, any one other than this Select Home Warranty. You will end up paying more in the end with Select Home Warranty.

Awful customer service. They will hang up on you when you ask for a manager. They don't want to pay to replace your item. They give you the lowest amount possible. Don't do business with them go to Cinch. I made the mistake of switching companies and I regret it big timw.

People!!! Be weary of these supposed good good reviews. Read your contract. They will charge you $75.00 to cancel your month to month contract. They provided bad service and lied about their service then told me I had to pay to get away from them!

I have a pool light which needs to be replaced. Thus far Select Home Warranty is saying it is not covered and referencing section 9.1.2 which references exclusions but the reference to a light is in conjunction with a home appliance not a pool. I would like this component replaced. Terrible response so far.

Don't bother submitting a claim because they will just deny it. I have submitted 4 claims and every one of them has been denied. After I submitted a request, within hours I received an automatic sent email denying my claim. No explanation as to why. I would expect you would at least have a reason given not just automatic denials.

If I could give them no stars I would. Do yourself a favor and find another home warranty company. They are cheaper for a reason. They deny most claims and will only reimburse the bare minimum. If you happen to obtain this warranty, read all of the contact within the first 30 days for full reimbursement.

This company will just take your money, and deny all services. I wanted a full home coverage like the A/C, washed, and plumbing system. When I had a plumbing problem they denied the services because they don't cover leaks. It is like buying a car witout tires. It is ridiculous.

Terrible coverage and customer service. I highly suggest you stay away from Select Home Warranty! The process to file a claim and hopefully secure a vendor to do the work is terrible. I’ve been waiting 3 months and no resolution. The policy is not worth the cost.

Select home warranty is a fraud company, please stop advertising it and genuine. I have been played around for three weeks to get the refrigerator repaired but now they say that it's not covered. How is a repair that leaks freon by itself leaking not covered? Nowhere it mentions in t&c. Totally scam and it should be shut down. Very frustrating.

The worst of the worst. You have to jump trough hoops to get them to approve anything, then they don't repair or replace. All they do is throw you $150 and then it's up to you. Cost was $80 to have the service company out, so I really only covered $70 for a $1K job. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!

On my first call I was told that if you have two issues that are related (plumbing) you have to pay a service call for each issue. I've never been with a warranty company that did that. Then I was told I'd be charged a $75 fee to cancel my month to month contract. Never again.

I wish I could give no star. Terrible company. My washer broke which was only 2 years old, after 3 months still not fixed. Words cant describe how horrible this company is. Save your money and go with a different company. This company is all about taking your money and drag you along the way till you give up. Shame on you select home warranty.

I called Select Home Warranty because I had a cracked heat exchanger inside my heater. They refused to come out and and repair it because of a possible carbon monoxide leak, even though it was only a possible threat. And, the heater was covered in my policy. When I told them to cancel my policy, they said there would be a CANCELLATION FEE.

I have been waiting 8 days for a technician to check out my dead AC unit. Select Home Warranty now tells me it will be another 1-2 business days before a technician will see my unit. I was told the same thing 2 business data’s ago. Beginning to believe I have been ripped off. Horrible service.

The absolute worst service I have ever had. They sent a technician who spent 5 minutes looking at the floor then left, the issue was plumbing and he did nothing at all. The claim has already been denied without anyone ever actually looking for the issue. Read the contract carefully, it's contradictory at best and malicious at worst

Absolutely nothing! I am a Realtor in Arkansas and this warranty is by far the worst. They cover nothing. I ended up buying a new dishwasher for $900 and they paid me $225. It took 9 months to get my money. I have a Samsung 2018 refrigerator. The ice maker is not covered at all. Will not recommend to my clients for sure.
