Every step of the way is cumbersome. I had one claim that was approved. It took over 1 month to receive remuneration in order to purchase a replacement washing machine. This came in the form of a Lowes gift card. They should have paid me for the time and hassle of multiple phone calls and then needing to take my laundry to a laundromat in the meantime. There is no good reason why it should have taken over 1 month to receive the gift card.

Rude associates. Rudest and most unprofessional I've ever encountered. Also, you turn down almost every claim I've made. Someone came to fix garage door, broke it, and it cost me $500 to fix it. Someone came to fix pool cleaner and said that is not covered and still charges me. Someone came to fix plumbing and failed to fix it. Cost $800 to get another plumber. Called about air conditioner and my claim was ignored. Had to pay for a new unit.

Still waiting on service for AC unit never a follow up call always reimbursement option and then never get any money. Had a fridge die on me under warranty. I was told that the technician who you hired never put in his diagnostic answer so I never got reimbursed for any money whatsoever honestly worse customer service ever would never recommend to anyone.

Call tech several time left messages and Tex no respond. No one show up. Lost a day from work for no reason. Call Choice to report. Promise to reassign the work order . A day later got nothing from choice.

I used my warranty for my hot water heater but they didn't cover my hot water heater. I had to buy it myself. Also my kitchen sink they would not replace. They cover $70 for the kitchen sink and my sink cost like $250. And also my bathroom sink, they won't replace my bathroom sink.

Worst Customer Service company I've ever had to deal with ! The send handyman and un qualified workers to destroy your house and collect your copay. Don't get suckered into the extended contract. Most company's they send have a huge amount of complaints and usually a 2 star review. To speak to Customer service it's a 48 hour wait, to have a supervisor call u back !

I have waited now over a month to get my garage door opener fixed. I am my second contractor, paid my required fee and still not fixed. Have heard nothing from either the contractor I paid to fix it or from you, choice warranty! I will be calling yet again to find out the status of my fix or replace before I find my own contractor to replace my garage door opener. Praying no hail or there will be a bigger bill charged to home choice warranty!

After accepting replacement allowance learned that it takes 30 days to receive an e-gift card from lowes. I have been out of microwave for 30 days and to wait longer is a extremely inconvenient. ZERO customer service skills, they all read from the same script. Any good reviews they have is mostly for the service providers & not choice. Would rate negative if possible. The worst vendors you could possibly think off. Once you file a complaint and the vendor either dose t shows up or dose not receive your call or have not figured out the problem CHW representative will just tell they can’t do anything and it’s the vendor who will reply. Every time I call for service (a handful of times during my multi-year contract, at least 5 years now) no service is up to par. One the the subcontractor wanted me to adjust to his schedule. Second, after sending 3 different subcontractors, I was told they do could not fix the problem. Third, the subcontractor made a hole in my wall to see a plumbing problem that I ended up fixing my self. The last one, my dryer ended up getting really broken and was promised a replacement but it is already almost a month and nothing yet.

With the claim i put in, I was requested to pay for equipment without knowing what was being put in. When I requested to know what equipment was going to be put in, I was told I had to pay first. Then when I received a call to rate my experience your representative yelled at me for trying to find out via support emails/chats. Your representatives need to know how to treat customers. I would rate you a ) if I could just because of being yelled and scolded by your representatives... Maybe they need to be reminded... customers pay their salaries ... no customers, no job...

Was assigned a case manager on a repair and couldn't get her to call me back. Have had two issues of not able to find repairmen and sent a reimbursement option and was unable to find anyone willing to deal with the paperwork required. One repair company never showed, never called, voicemail was full when I tried to call and I determined this individual was operating out of an apartment. Those are just a few of the challenges I've experienced in a short period of time.

When my pool heater broke they told me it was not covered because it was electric and had a heat pump. Nothing was told to me like that when I purchased the warranty and did not receive the paperwork until after I put the claim in and then they sent me the policy. I gave them a 2 because they did give me a token of $400 toward a $4600 new heater.

Lack of response, impossible to get through. Wait times are outrageously long and I'm trying to find out what my final coverage is going to be on a washing machine dryer. My washer started making noises and I had a rep come out to check it out and when he called it in, they were going to pay so little in the replacement cost. That was going to cost me over $400 for replacing the machine. It needed to be replaced because the motor was shot. So I'm about ready to change from Choice. I think they're so bad.

Recently I had a service call regarding my central air unit. The technician checked it and indicated it needed to be replaced. Home Warranty approved the replacement. Upon receiving the two amounts to be paid, one to your company and the other to the service technician upon the completion of the job. Per the contractor the duck work would not be replaced but modified. Per my contact it included ductwork. I called to speak with regarding this and was told no managers were available but would return my call in 2 days. I heard nothing more from the company.
