There are a number of good things about Choice. However, it seems they rush to give a low price for "you to purchase the _____ of your choice that is comparable to your ______, the amount not being anywhere near the amount to replace your item rather than repairing your item. Technicians are often sent from 100 miles away when we have just as good or better techs within blocks of my residence that accept Choice.

I had to use an emergency service and followed all of the steps very carefully, calling the company to be sure I got all the information they needed. It is going on 6 weeks now, and all I have received is the difference between the service call I would have paid and the service call I did pay for emergency service. All my inquries about why I have not been reimbursed for the needed part have gone unanswered.

Best: You cover what you say you will with no argument Worst: Your customer service people just put down what they want not what the problem is. The last call I told the rep that the toilet needed to be reinsatalled after a leak was repaired. He sent a plumber out with the problem listed as won't flush.

Their price was right but there are many exclusions to what they cover so I am not sure I am going to renew with them. Read the fine print when you sign up. I’ve had nice and not nice interactions with customer service. They do respond to your calls but when my freezer stopped working, they sent a mechanic out here and the mechanic said they needed to do some service and the warranty paid for it but the mechanic did not fix my problem. When I called the warranty company about it, they said would not cover it anymore so I had to pay to replace my freezer. I totally got screwed that time.

I needed my air conditioning fixed this summer and Choice filed the claim and dispatched someone that day to come out and assess the situation. For the most part the service has been very good from by the Choice personnel and their contactors. My garage door opener was not covered because it was a different type than the contractor.

We had an ice maker and the freezer had stopped working so we submitted a claim for that and it took awhile for the part to come in because of all the parts were taking a while now. The technician came finally and install the part and said to let him know if everything wasn't working properly and I found the next day that it was not working properly, it just wasn't working at all so I texted the the technician and all he said was that he was going to put an order in for another ice maker and we're still waiting here on that so I don't know what the problem is with this one. I did notice that he didn't clip two little cable ties that were holding the ice maker from moving around probably during shipping so I clipped those to come out and it still wasn't working so I guess we're going to get a new one out of it.

It's right for the price if you if you have some claims but I don't like hidden charges sometimes. There was a problem with my air conditioning and I ended up having some service fee was not included in price. My compressor died and it wasn't my fault but I ended up paying like a five hundred dollars from my pocket for the fixing. I used the warranty a couple times, the last time I used it for some leak in the in the plumbing and I called in Friday the technician came in Tuesday which is a kinda long time.

I had an exterior faucet that was leaking and they said because it was outside the home they didn't covere it. I had a heating and air conditioning unit not working and we had to delay the maintenance person coming to the house because my son has Covid but he never called back. We had a problem with our heating and air conditioning unit and the gentlemen came out and corrected the problem immediately.Two of the three things we turned in recently have not been repaired, but the one that has been repaired was done done well.

They're very very good about getting somebody to look at the the problem. The last time I used the warranty we had a stopped up kitchen sink they were very on time as far as the time frames they were told that was probably going to be here, they came in they got the clog out in about fifteen to twenty minutes and cleaned up the place and did a great job but I forget who the plumbing company was. They're pretty sticky about some things and about 25 percent of the time they end up not fixing the problem.

Sometimes I need some urgent help with my AC and I couldn't get it on time, actually I have to wait longer time to be helped for the AC which is urgent for me. Choice Home Warranty has some contractors that they send that are not helping they are not providing good services and they are not professional enough. I used it a couple of times for AC services but what happened is I couldn't get it in time and I have to wait like a week or so to get my AC service repaired and it was very critical time so I suffered until I got the service.

They were really quick getting people out here to fix our issue and they don't leave you like for weeks or anything. Our hot water heater we noticed it was leaking rusty water and so we called them in and ended up that it had rusted out we didn't realize it until it was leaking and that had happened so they came out and fixed it. The only thing is that we did have to pay three seventy five and I didn't think we have to pay anything but the seventy five fee so that's the only thing that threw me off, but they were quick to get it fixed.

I get frustrated when they don’t cover the three major appliances that cost me over a couple of thousand dollars. I had three times without the last year that things weren’t covered. The water heater and air conditioning were covered, as was the dishwasher. Sometimes they are great and other times things aren’t covered. The people who came are great.

The first conversation with the Customer service rep was non productive as the rep would not release the contractor's name so that he could be paid! I spent about a half an hour on the line waiting on a rep to be told I have received an email with information of the contractor and upon review of the email it only revealed the date and time of the service call and NOT who would be arriving to complete the serve to my stove, which BTW is still not repairedl

It is now almost the new year and I still have no word at all about my ice maker parts. I am paying about $15 a month for ice (In addition to my $65 service fee paid on 7 October. I would suggest that you just authorize a similar new refrigerator and let me get back to my normal routine instead of having to worry about running out of ice every week or so. It has now been almost 3 months and I'm not pleased with your service. Thinking about calling on the BBB and letting them know what's going on. I am well aware of the BS put out about shipping delays in west coast ports of Oakland and Long Beach. I doubt if that is what is holding up a simple replacement order.

The company Choice uses is over 60 miles away. Our furnace stopped in the middle of winter and it took them a week to come and look at the problem,, just to say they did not have the part and had to order it.. They scheduled an appointment but did not show up and never called to say they we not coming. Once they did come they did fix the problem.

I find them cumbersome. My first claim was a cracked stove top. I paid the $85 service charge for tech. The claim was denied. My 2nd claim was about my clothes dryer. I paid the $85 for the tech's first visit. He reported it was not a dryer problem, but rather an electrical one. As I had a broken bathroom ceiling fan, I added that to my next claim. I paid the $85 fee for the electrician. I've now spent $250 in service fees. I received an auto message indicating that my claim was approved and the time had been scheduled for the electrician to return and fix the problem and oh, I had to pay him another $85 service fee. At this point, I contacted Choice to ask why? They confirmed what I suspected - there would be no charge for the second visit. As I initially indicated, cumbersome at best.

It was excellent until the last visit. A faucet installed about 2 years ago had the handle break off. The repairman determined it was under warranty. He said for me to buy a new warranty and Choice would reimburse me $70. I sent Choice copies of the receipt from Lowes but have never received the $70' Until this happened everything had been great. Very disappointing.

Two months ago I got a bill from Florida Power and Light for four times what I normally per per month. I was problem. If the first technician would have done his job the first time all would have been corrected. I was told by the person watching him that he did very little. The company which you hire has to be more conscious when they provide service. I will remember this when its time to renew my contract. told that I was using power at the unit. I found it hard to believe since the only thing in service was the air conditioner and two lamps on timers. I contacted Choice to send a serviceman to check. One showed up and stated that the A/C was in working order. However, FPL indicated I was still drawing power. I asked that FPL to send someone to check the meteor. They came and said the thermostat was in working order, the A/C was working but not putting out cool air, that was the probablem

I was sold on them because they told me if they couldn’t fix it, they would replace it but they haven’t come through on that original statement. We have used the warranty many times but when the furnace went out, they came and couldn’t fix it and they didn’t replace it because of rust. Nobody had talked to me about rust. They did the same thing for my water heater and air conditioner. I have been disappointed so many times. I was happy when they fixed my stove and dishwasher but I had to wait a month for my washer to get repaired because the repairman did not flip a switch for the new part so I had to have another repairman out six months later which cost me another sixty dollars.
