It has been over a month since I sent in a claim for my oven and my oven is still broken. The contractor assigned has been unresponsive and I've contacted AHS multiple times asking them to a different contractor. Here I am over a month later and absolutely nothing further has been done to resolve my issue. I have asked to speak with a supervisor on three separate occasions and was told that one would contact me within 48 hours. I'm still waiting on all of those phone calls.

I had to wait months to have my fire hazard electrical work done because their electrician would not respond to them so we were at a stalemate. Finally I paid someone else to complete the work and they reimbursed me after another month of waiting and phone tagging. I was promised a $100 credit for my next service and they told me it was on my account. Every time I call no one can find any record of it. I’m still waiting for a return call concerning my credit.

The coverage is good but the support and pricing are lacking. I was going to renew but wanted to speak with a rep but got hung up on or disconnected. So, I went with a different home warranty company. I got a good deal, better than I've ever had with AHS. You raised the rates every year I had it.

Hasn’t fixed my bathroom faucet. He was working on May 13. May 17 another technician arrived. He couldn’t put the bath tub back on correctly!! He left and water was coming out faster. May 18 technician came. Very knowledgeable but couldn’t fix. Told me we needed to pay $185 out of pocket to remove the wall tiile. SDL Plumbing the last technician told me it would to put the tile back. I’m livid!! Outrageous!!

Customer service has you on hold for alomost an hour to just give you the run around about your service. You can never get through directly to someone in a timely manner. Custer service constantly hangs up on you or doesn't know what they are talking about. No one is consistant with their information which make it almost impossible to get a service filled.

We have a major plumbing problem and AHS has already sent 2 techs from 2 different companies. Now they want to send a company that is not accredited by the BBB and only has one star reviews. I spoke with the company AHS wanted to send and was told that they don't do the work needed. In the meantime, I haven't been able to use my kitchen sink in over a month. A AHS customer service rep agreed to get back to me but never did.

Contractors they have come out are very SLOW to respond , set appointments. Even when there is an emergency they take forever. I am starting to rethink AHS, especially if I am going to be rented ng out the place. I don't want my tenants to be stuck with no AC or no Fridge for days on end...

Came home from a trip and my AC was out - in FL & it was 92 degrees in my house. I called the service number and was blatantly lied to be a rep that sounded like I had woke him up and he was eating! Refused to pass me to a supervisor, didn't explain any of the process. Called back after his supervisor never called back and was told by this rep that this is process - they will contact a local contractor and that contractor has 4u hours to contact me. IT'S FL IN THE SUMMER!!!

Because there is no ZERO STAR. Contractors are inexperienced and/or sub-par. With AHS, you can never speak with a supervisor because they are always “in a meeting” or “unavailable right now”. If you start complaining to the clerks answering the phones (in Manila!) they hang up on you. “The part order is in process” was the response I got for 14 days in a row.

I cancelled my contract with them effective 06/01/2021 after being a customer for several years. The vendors they use seem frustrated having to deal with them and I question the quality of their work. Last year a vendor fixed my furnace with a part that was “makeshift”. I found this out when we put in a new furnace this year. We took cash in lieu because we had such a run around with American Home Shield.
