Carol

I am a broker in Houston and regret ever recommending allied warranty or reliant services to any of my customers. I spent 4 hard days trying to get a simple fix on my ac unit. I stayed home till 8 pm the third day after I called in waiting on a service man who was supposed to be there at noon-2. Then he could not do anything as he had no parts and left that night. I spent hours on the phone on hold..I talked to 7 different people and finally was lied to on the 4th day about how much they were going to charge me . The head guy who lied was in the Houston office. It took 3 days in 95 degree weather to replace a simple part. Please do not ever use Allied warranty or Reliant service. It is all owned by NRG and the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. You cannot ask for a different service person as they are all owned NRG.. If they treat a broker that way, I worry how they would treat one of my clients. On another note, the service man was very nice and I felt sorry for him being sent from an hour drive from Baytown at night to a service call in Northwest Houston. Ludicrous.
