I've had some bad experiences with 2-10 not contacting the right people that need to be contacted and not getting back to me. I've used it several times, the most recent was the ice maker went out my refrigerator and it took them three weeks before they finally got somebody out because 2-10 didn't do what they were supposed to do to reach the people that are supposed to come out. The people are supposed to come out wouldn't work with me they had to be contacted by 2-10. They don't have reliable contractors.

I only tried using it once and I had to find my own company to do the work because the company that they had was no longer working in my area. Therefore I was left to find someone on my own then after I did that it was hectic to try to download the information and to call someone and stay on the phone forever with music playing, it was very aggravating. And I had to pay them upfront myself. The only thing that will semi-positive was I've got the check within thirty days that's it. They were not easy to contact, I stayed on the phone for hours with that music playing.

2-10 warranty has been a good experience. The last time I used it was about in the last three weeks. I had a problem with air conditioning and really the service was terrific on that occasion. The person who came out, who fixed the air conditioning came out on Saturday and fixed my problem that same day so I was very happy on that occasion. I mean the last instance was a five but there have been times that has been not so great.

I haven't had any issues. They contact me back in time, no problem. I've been with them since 2005 and I haven't had any issues that they haven't fixed or replaced. The people that came out to fix it and they left and I called 2-10 because it still wasn't working. They had to come back and then everything worked fine.

Usually customer service is very quick to respond to any problems or concerns I have. There is no delay. My most recent problem was the AC was having trouble and the technician came out the next day. It was straightforward.

However I gave you three stars because some of your vendors are horrendous and make dealing with a work order horrible. I feel like a lot of the time 2-10 says it's the vendors fault and the vendors says it's my home warranties fault.

I had an experience with one of my refrigderator repair that took weeks to finish which I found unacceptable. The issue was how the contract is setup between the dispatcher and 2-10, it's ship in the night communication that costed me a few weeks without a working fridge.

I think the warranty is a great thing to have and worth the cost. However, we often play "middle man" between 2-10 and the company doing the service. We've also been told something will be adjusted and fixed, where it wasn't and the contractor had to call and verify. There was also one incident with a customer service rep who put us on hold for 30 minutes, then said, "that's offensive" when my fiance and I were talking about miscommunication and then wouldn't talk to us after that and we had to hang up.

While they do a credible job with repairs of covered items, their policies and practices for replacement of items deemed beyond repair by their own assigned providers is quite disappointing and unsatisfactory. When my refrigerator/freezer failed and couldn't be repaired, I was subjected to delays in getting status of my claim as their online portal indicated it was closed following the dispatch of the repair technician. I finally arranged to get a member of their staff to follow my case. After several days of delay, they offered me a far less expensive "replacement" refrigerator that lacked key characteristics and features of the failed unit. It was clearly an effort to offer an inferior "substitute " item. When I balked at that and identified an acceptable model from a website they recommended to me, they finally agreed to offer me that one, but said it would be a delay of 6-7 weeks for delivery. That being wholly unacceptable for being without a refrigerator in our home, I reluctantly settled for a cash payout offer which ended up to be slightly more than half of the cost of a replacement I sourced locally.

They are very expensive. Despite being customers for so long, discounts are next to nothing. Also, when my AC got spoilt, I had to shell out thousands of dollars to get it fixed because 2-10 said that the policy did not cover it. The agreement and promises made by 2-10 are misleading and a lot goes out of the pocket if any appliance breaks. Not happy.

My fridge died and it took a month to get a check for no where near enough money to buy another fridge. The model they offered me didn't physically fit and they told us they weren't responsible to offer me a fridge that fit the dimensions like my old fridge. So thanks for taking 3 weeks to offer me a worthless replacement that was too big. Also thanks for giving me a check that was half the value of a fridge replacement. I even did research for 3 days and found a fridge that was the same price as the one they offered me but would actually fit and asked them if they'd just please send me that one. After speaking to the supervisor who tells me "they aren't going to give you another offer - take it or leave it", I was told there was no one else I could speak to and whoever the customer service rep was who told me they'd request another offer from the purchasers was just wrong. The website they claim you can use to get a discount was a joke. Nothing available and not the percent discount like they told me. What is the point of paying for a warranty when they clearly don't have to actually offer a comparable replacement. The fact that they seriously sent me a model that they knew wouldn't fit and told me too bad, not our problem, then forced me to take a check for half the cost of a replacement is a scam and honestly it's probably cheaper just to not pay almost $100 a month and just save that money and pay for a new one when it breaks. I do not recommend them. The customer service was so terrible and I can't not even believe the supervisor told me I was at the end of the line and couldn't speak to anyone else. They do not care about their customers and told me go ahead and cancel when I asked how to go about it.

In general it's hard to get through to you guys. When we do get somebody, they're always helpful but don't follow through. Recently, our water heater went out and had to be replaced and it was a long and slow process. We filed a complaint I think two weeks before there was any follow up. By that point, it was a real problem and then there was some difficulty getting that water heater approved because it was a forty gallon tank and there was only a fifty gallon tank available, so we spent about five days without hot water which isn't the end of the world but you know it wasn't comfortable. At that point, one of our children was sick so for them to have to take cool shower and stuff was not the best and all that could have been avoided if there was prompt service from our initial filing the complaint and a quick response from the repair guy so that was frustrating. We ended up getting a tank approved and installed but the whole process took probably about three weeks and ideally that would have been wrapped up in a few days.

They've been helpful and flexible when we have need of their services. They are able to get people out quickly. I just wasn't happy with the last technician that came out cause it's like the third time with the same issue on the refrigerator. He wasn't very helpful because he couldn't speak English, was not wearing his mask properly, and somehow didn't get two screws put back into the refrigerator.

Every time I call, the customer service representatives have a nasty attitude. I used my home warranty when some shortages went out with my some of my sockets. I payed the hundred dollar deductible, the contractor just came out, they haven't fixed the issue, and they never came back. I called 2-10 and they could never get in contact with the contractors either so that problem is still unsolved. I have a issue now with my refrigerator, I called 2-10 and I payed my hundred dollar deductible. It took them three weeks to fix my refrigerator, my refrigerator is still not working so I've been without a refrigerator for two months now still waiting on those parts.

I called and needed to have our heat pump serviced. They sent a company out, but they were not actually able to do it. They said they would have to order parts and they never game back and I couldn't even contact them again. Then I was told by 2-10 that I would have to find someone out-of-network to service it, which I did, but now I’m still fighting to get my money back from the first experience.

Their service is very good and the work was very good. My air conditioner went out and they came out and checked it out. It had to be replaced and they replaced the whole unit inside and out.

I've had a number of transactions and some of them were real good and some of them were real bad. Just recently, our freezer went out, and they sent a contractor out and the contractor couldn't get the part so 2-10 customer service told me that I'd get a new refrigerator and then I waited and that didn't happen so I called back again and they said they'd give me a new refrigerator. And I waited again and that didn't happen so I talked to somebody else there and they said they won't be able to give me a new refrigerator because I gotta wait for the part to come in no matter how long it takes. The customer service reps are very nice, good listeners and they try to help but they're inconsistent.

Just about every winter we use it because our HVAC is a pretty old system, and they're pretty good about dispatching somebody out here to fix it. Usually has something to do with the compressor or some sort. The service is pretty good but nobody's perfect. Our premium seems to be going up drastically each year.

I called for my refrigerator and they came out to fix it. I'm not going to say I was overly happy about it but it was okay. I feel like I never can get through to a person, I'm always talking to a recording and I like to talk to people directly to know what the problem is. The last technician just came not too long ago and I had a problem with my garbage disposal but I didn't like the way he told me I would have to pay for a new garbage disposal. When I disagreed, he fixed it in less than five minutes but never showed me what he did to fix it.

Our warranty was included when we bought our home in June 2020, and In August of 2020 we filed a service request for a broken ice maker. Per their website, it states you will be contact within 48 hrs and taken care of soon after. After numberous calls,long hold times, and 6 weeks finally a technician showed up on a sunday evening at 10pm while my husband was working. After he opened the freezer door and shut he said we needed a new ice maker. As he wrote the service order down, he preceded to tell me about his stint in prison . Tell me how they prefer not to work with 2-10 warranty due to there slow payments on their bills. when he requested the co-pay of 100.00 they did not take cards so he said he’d stop by the next day to get payment. He said the ice maker should be in the next week and they would be right back to install. He sure came early to claim cash next morning and the last we heard for several more weeks. I call 2-10 nearly 30 times over the next several months. Finally they installed the ice maker and left and of course it didnt work. It obviously wasnt what was wrong. It was a frozen line. Four months later the ice maker works but wont dispense from the front door, and once again call call call and finally a repair man from another company came and fixed it. Five months, 50 phone calls, reps stating they would call back and never did. You also cant call and talk to the rep who you already spent 30 mins telling the whole story. No shows for several appts. Causing me to miss work, spend hours trying to get my ice maker fixed. Finally the last one who I told I wanted to speak to someone about the terrible service assured me her manager whould call and 8 months later no one every called. It was the worse service Ive ever encountered. Definately wont renew my contract this year.

Top quality response when needing maintenance. However, they are non-responsive when it comes to replacement of equipment. I have two heat pumps, both 18 years old, that 2-10 keeps putting bandaids on, and each bandaid costs $100. Five repair requests in just the past year.

I had to have a faucet replaced and the first time they came they gave me incorrect information. Then later they explained it better to me and corrected the issue. One bad thing about the warranty is you're limited to what service providers you can use. Once they couldn't find an electrician in my area so they didn't give me service.

Our warranty came with the house we got. We haven't had any real problems with the company. We needed our heater fixed and they had to come two different days to make sure it was fixed. They send someone out right away to fix your problems and you don't have to pay for it.

Not everyone that works here has a good knowledge of what services they offer and what is covered. There seems to be no standard for what their employees need to know so it's hard to get things explained to you. We had a good experience with a dishwashing repair company but it was a nightmare to get our stove replaced because they took about two months to get that replaced.

After careful research I thought that would be the best company that fit my needs but I was wrong. I had a drainage problem at my home, I filed a claim and they assigned me to a plumber. A plumber come out and did whatever they needed to do, did not make any recommendations for me to do anything else and 2-10 called and tried to have argue with me about what the idea.
