In general it is very difficult to get a hold of somebody and when you do get a hold of them, they are not very helpful. Every time we’ve needed the warranty, they have tried to get out of paying. It is quite a hassle.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. It took an hour to get a hold of them on they phone. When they send someone out, they say one thing and do another thing. They are very inconsistent. I still don’t have my item fixed. I would not recommend them to anybody.

Nobody knows what the other person's doing, nobody has the answers, they transfer you all around to different departments, and no one takes accountability. Customer service is not very accessible or very helpful. I had to use my warranty multiple time on my hvac unit and they were not very good experiences. It took a of time to diagnose and fix the problem. The repairs are often not correct.

It’s a very poor service. They’re difficult to deal with. You have to get on the phone with them repeatedly and beg and plead to get anything done. I am currently in a despite with them over a vent hood in my house. They’re saying they don’t cover it when it clearly says they do.

I don’t feel like 2-10 home warranty cares about its customers. They’re only looking to save money. Our air conditioner went out on July fifth and they didn’t repair it until November 11th and then the installed did it incorrectly. We’re still fighting with them.

I have the highest coverage with 2-10, including added on coverage for pipe leak, roof leak, and septic system coverage. I was reluctant to renew my coverage a second year as I'd had issue getting help on weekends, but the sales associate assured me I could choose my own contractor in emergency situations like weekends and evenings. This couldn't be further from the truth. On a Sunday, my plumbing backed up and septic flooded into the bathrooms and bedrooms. I immediately contacted their "24-hours a day / 7 days a week line" after filing an online claim. I received an automated message indicating no one was available and to call back the following day. At that point, following the instructions on their website as this being classified as an emergency, contacted a plumber who diagnosed a main pipe break from the house to the septic, which is indicated as covered under my optional add-on "Septic System" "Coverage: line from Serviceable Area to septic tank." I have just spent an hour trying to reach customer service to get this reasonable claim reimbursed, only to speak to two people in claims who denied covering this for two reasons: - I didn't get it pre-authorized - again, this happened on a weekend, when no one was available from their "24/7 7 days a week line." - The pipe failing wasn't normal wear and tear - which is a diagnosis from a claims agent on a phone call. I'm not sure how she diagnosed this as normal wear and tear, when my plumber and I weren't sure what happened with the pipe. In the end, they offered $50 as a courtesy toward the services for an $800 service call. I pay over $1300 a year for coverage. I should have saved the $1300 so I could pay for my own repairs.

My first experience with 2-10 has been sub-par. The claims didn’t have a radio button for the issues we were experiencing so I selected the closest. They sent a technician who was prompt and communicative but not able to do the work. I was informed a new service provider was selected who never called or confirmed. When I called, the rep was instantly defensive, rude and short, cutting me off and hanging up on me to prevent me from filling out the survey. They rescheduled with another service provider who wasn’t communicative about constant changes to the schedule. When I asked for another service provider, I was denied one because the service provider had “rescheduled servicefor today” for two days in a row resulting in more delays. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told 24-48 hours. I was told I could pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement which leads me to question why I’m already paying out of pocket for this warranty. In total it has been 12 days since we had gas and 2-10s poor service has neither remedied the situation or provided an acceptable alternative. This is not the kind of service I spend my hard earned money on.

Very disappointed with 2-10, after numerous years and the price going up year after year and barely using it for anything my hot water heater went. I am immune compromised and have Raynaud's so cold is the worst. Being told to wait 2-3 days for a plumber was not sufficient. We got someone over within 2 hours but of course out of network. So we have to pay. Useless and they don't care if it is a health reason or not. No customer service. Beware!

Going on the fifth week of a fridge repair. After initial inspection, approval process and waiting for ordered parts the contractor, XR Services Appliance Repair, stated they were never received. I would now have to wait longer to have the parts reordered and the processing couldn't be expedited. Additionally, the contractor wouldn't respond to texts and their phone system doesn't allow for voice messages. Escalating the service with 2-10 resulted in many 'I'm sorry, that is frustrating' statements, but no true solutions from 2-10. My two (2) main options presented have been cash in lieu of service or finding a different contractor by which the entire process of assignation, diagnosis, ordering parts and finally service would begin anew with no acceleration of the process. On 10/30/23 I asked for a new contractor, one was assigned and I was told I would be contacted soon to establish that initial service. It is currently 1p local time and I am still waiting for that call from Saguaro Appliance Repair. Also on 10/30/23 I was contacted by 2-10 stating that they had finally reached XR Services, they had the part and could come out on 10/31/23 to complete the repair. I left work early to be there for the allotted 2-4p window and the contractor arrived at 3:35. By 4:40 the contractor contacted his office and stated that he didn't have enough fuel to do the soldering necessary for the repair and would need to schedule another day to complete the repair. I spoke with the scheduler and let them know that they would need to come out 11/1/23 between 2:30-3p to complete the repair. XR Services has been unresponsive by phone and text and 2-10 has ZERO solutions to offer aside from calls and emails from Contractor Relations to these vendors. I'll reiterate, I have been without a fridge for five (5) weeks and the money I have paid for the warranty and the service call have not brought me any closer to resolution. Additionally, if you Google XR Services and Saguaro Appliance Repair for Tucson, AZ you cannot reach them as a private party. Interesting choices for preferred contractors.

I like the ease of filing claims online but when our air conditioning went out in August in Florida, it took over a week to get everything sorted and we ended up paying for the part just to get it done because we couldn't live in our house at 90 degrees. I wish certain things like water heaters and air conditioners were moved to the priority list so people didn't have to live without hot water or AC.

Our AC unit started to cut on and off randomly. We called 2-10 and they sent out a contractor. The contractor advised that there was a toggle switch/safety switch in the drip pan that causes our AC to cut off every time it fills up with water. He drained the drip pan and unclogged the pipes. He collected his service fee of $125 and left. Everything was fine until one week later the same issue occurred. Called 2-10 again, 2-10 called the same contractor to come out for a recall. The contractor advised it was the same issue. **FIRST RED FLAG: Filter Butler repaired the issue again but then proceeded to ask for the service fee of $125, after 2-10 advised us that there will be NO service fee if the same repair is needed. I had to call 2-10 while the contractor was at my house to explain how their lack of communication between each other caused unnecessary confusion. Another week passes and I noticed a leak in my ceiling, which I assume was from my AC unit, and sure enough, it was. That “toggle switch/ safety switch” was no longer working causing a leakage which caused water damage into my ceiling. **SECOND RED FLAG: That toggle switch/safety switch (keeping the drip pan from overflowing) was working fine until the contractor came out that second time advising “he fixed the issue.” Now we have water damage. This time I called the contractor directly and after further review, they decided that my AC unit was improperly installed. **My service agreement states this: “ …Modifications up to $250 per Service Agreement. Haul away/disposal fees. Items under manufacturer's warranty. Improper installation/repair/modification.” We reached out to corporate via email and they stated this: I understand that based on your current warranty you do have coverage for improper install, improper repair and/or improper modifications however we only provide coverage for those 3 when necessary to effect an eligible repair. **FINAL RED FLAG: NOWHERE in the service agreement did it state anything specific on what is considered an eligible repair or what qualifies as a covered improper install or modification. The vagueness and lack of specificity in this agreement seems intentional. The impact on the customer and the business relationship was not considered. NO ONE at 2-10 was able to assist with our issue. It was unsettling that no further attempts apart from simple explanations was made to reconcile the issue. We dread the fact that we renewed our warranty for another year spending close to $700, FOR NOTHING. We have been dealing with this issue for FIVE weeks now. And we are still left high and dry to find a company to fix our issue for a reasonable price.

It takes a while on the phone to get hold of them and then it takes a while to get in contact with the service provider but once the problem has been diagnosed the service provider gets it fixed quickly of if not fixable 2-10 sends a check for a replacement.

My 1 1/2 year old refrigerator failed on July 13th and a service man came to look at it on 7/18. The motherboard was bad and it had to be ordered from S. Korea. It finally came in about 3 months later and when it was installed it was found another part was also bad. This was also back ordered and had to be ordered from S. Korea. After the second order I was at the point I had to purchase a new refrigerator. We are both seniors and going up and down stairs constantly to the old fridge in the basement was getting dangerous for my wife. It is now the end of November and the part still has not come in and the refrigerator is sitting in my garage. At this time I have not been contacted directly by 2-10 although I have called them several times.

I called to complain about being charged for a repair that was not a repair yes the technician came out my Fossett sprayer was Luis he tighten that and that stop the leak. The technician should have said I’m not even going to charge you for this I was in here Lestin two minutes idea call the company I got the runaround finally got somebody said the supervisor I believe his name was Brian was gonna call me back never received a callback to this day. As soon as I find another warranty program I am going to cancel this warrantee and go with somebody else .

our refrigerator stopped working, 2-10 customer service was very pleasant to work with. unfortunately the company sent out was very unprofessional, it has almost been 3 weeks and we still do not have the part that the repair company things "might" fix the problem because no one ordered it. repair company blames the warranty company and vice versa. we only get status because we call, no one updates us and there seems to be no one at the repair company or at the warranty company that has offered to make up for the error, even a rush delivery would have been nice if offered, since they never ordered it to begin with. repair company told me that it was on back order a week after they came out but then told us a week later it was never ordered. very disappointed in the service. Hoping future claims do not end up like this one.
