I have the system up north in Michigan and I thought I would get a better deal since I had that one system. In the end, I am paying more for the one I have down here. As for the equipment, they put the alarm system on my sliding door so I can't open it or go out through it. No one can use it now. I've only had it for a month and I already have a battery that's dead, which is not good. I would rate it all very poorly.

I have found Guardian's management to be unreliable and dishonest. The technicians have been nice, but are not provided the proper equipment for their visits. The installation has been a multi-month ongoing process, with a little more installed and activated at each visit. I expected all of this to be done as part of the home building/buying process (they contracted directly with the builder, Pulte) and instead Guardian would not complete the job until after I moved in. The equipment is unreliable; the app works part of the time; and Guardian's managers are slow to respond. The installation area was left a mess with wires dangling everywhere. I would advise anyone thinking about using Guardian to think twice and instead look elsewhere.

I've had a good experience with the customer support. At one point I had a problem and it did take them 3 days to solve, but now that they solved the problem, it's working well. There wasn't any particular reason I chose them; I just saw it on the internet and decided to try it, I had ADT before, and the company that I used to install my ADT also switched to guardian.

The Guardian Protection representatives over the phone, although always polite, could be more proactive. I have been a Guardian Protection customer for 20 years and none of these customer representatives offered me to buy an upgrade to my system for instance. A technician informed me of the availability of this upgrade and installed it in my house. So, for an outstanding service ask for Betsy. Best regards

Technician Chuck N, is the best part of Guardian Protection! I had to leave a 5-star rating just because of him. The rest of customer service was very frustrating to deal with, long delays in getting a tech out, uncooperative on the phone and I went through 5 cameras/techs before Chuck got the system working perfectly. Even gave me tips on increasing my upload speeds through my wifi carrier to decrease the lag in the front doorbell system. GREAT GUY! A real ASSET to GP!

Everyone that I came into contact with from the original sales rep. ,then customer service and finally install technician gave superior customer service. They were very patient with all my questions and attentive. The install tech wore a mask and protective coverings in my home and was very careful with my wall when installing the system pad. He was very knowledgeable about the system and explained everything thoroughly when done. Very professional!

Betsy was absolutely amazing. She worked from 8-530 to make sure she set up all our security equipment properly. She explained the installation thoroughly and helped my husband and I figure out the layout of where the security systems would be best to be set up. She carefully explained the ins and outs of the app and the main security panel. She answered all our questions and was an absolute joy to be around all day. We are so pleased !!

My installer Harry(Haero) was very professional, very respectful, overall a very good person, he shook my hand and said good morning on arrival, he told me who he was and was wearing his uniform, he installed all the devices and setup the system in a timely manner. He didn’t leave my house until all my questions were answered and make sure I was happy with his service. I would recommend Guardian(thanks to Harry) to my friends and family.

We recently had windows replaced which had been hard wired to the alarm system. During installation of windows, some wires were lost. Bob came out to review our situation and suggested a number of options to meet our needs. We discussed pros and cons of all the options. After selecting one of his suggestions, he quickly installed the new components and uninstalled the old components. Bob was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful answering all our questions.

DEREK B. OMG! He is an AWESOME Technician. He could teach a few companies about representation of the company they work for. He is patient, kind, honest and has a WONDERFUL personality. AND sometimes service calls can make you uncomfortable; NOT WITH DEREK B. I've had Guardian for some time and this was my 1st service call. Guardian Protection has been great. Anytime my alarm has gone off, they've called immediately to figure out what was going on and offer help/send police/fire department. One time my smoke detector went off. I explained I burnt something in the oven which set off the detector. About 2 minutes later, I received another call from Guardian offering to have a pizza delivered since I burned dinner. That was completely unexpected and much appreciated. They went the extra mile for me.

We are very pleased with our service with Guardian Protection. They system works very well and customer service and technical service are readily available if a power outage messes things up, for example. Both groups are very clear and patient with their directions on how to fix whatever. We very rarely get information on new technology - that is the only thing I'd change, believe it or not! I'd actually like more information on what new technology is being developed in the home security field.

So far, so good. The salesperson showed up on time, gave me a LOT of information and was gracious about allowing time to discuss the decision with my wife who was at work when he was there. He applied every possible discount and special offer to keep the price low. We've only had the system for 10 days or so, but in that time, it has proved to be reliable and easy to use. Ours is a pretty minimal system {we only have a motion sensor and a doorbell camera), but has the capability of adding upgrades.

The low battery signal came on for my alarm system and I couldn't figure out how to open the panel so I called Guardian. The tech on the phone couldn't help me either so I scheduled a service call. Derek B came to the house and showed me how to open the panel and change the battery. Also, I had been unsuccessful adding an additional code to my system. Derek easily added it for me. Finally, a service tech who knows what they're doing!!
