I have had Guardian for 7 years & not had a problem with the service. However, unless I male a point of contacting customer service I don't really know if it is really working. A periodic contact would make my comfort level much higher. At best I would rate Guardian AVERAGE .

Technicians who come to the home are friendly and knowledgeable in their work. Problem is they charge you an arm and a leg for something that technical support over the phone could have and should have known how to fix. Customer service and their supervisors are of no help as they too are not knowledgeable and are unsupportive. The service constantly loses connection and is something I have to deal with regularly, I never have internet connection problems with anything else other than the connection to the alarm system. How can I trust my home is actually being protected if the product they sell is low quality.

Their customer service is very good. They are also local which is nice because I know where I am calling. Their pricing for their equipment is a bit high and they are not always willing to work with existing customers to reduce prices of new features and new equipment.

Average, as they provide me with the same security system monitoring service as many other companies. I only use them because of the contract after installation in my new home a few years ago. Probably would not have selected them if I installed a security system after closing on the house due to cost.

The equipment and monitoring is fine. The issues that I've had with them were around the installation. They had multiple installation attempts with damage to my home and they also had a lot of issues with billing and the paper works in getting the contract correct and signed, so I've been unsatisfied with the sales and installation process so I would give that a zero and after it was finally installed correctly and using the equipment, I would rate it higher.

It was not the greatest in the beginning. It took a long time for us to have the doorbells set up to where you can actually see who knocks on your door and in my opinion it just should not have taken that long and to get somebody to come to the house.

It's been pretty bad. They have been out to our home 6 times since our install two months ago. The first installer didn't have the WAP we ordered; the guy who came to install that didn't connect it to our internet so we weren't able to use it; the third guy didn't call ahead of time and didn't ring the doorbell, so I didn't know he was there - called you guys and you contacted him, but he told you he had to leave and I would have to reschedule; the fourth appt the guy found a broken part that needed replacing; the fifth visit resulted in him fixing the issue thankfully; the sixth visit was to set up our doorbell camera that had been on backorder. However, he didn't bring the doorbell I ordered (it's still on backorder) and instead installed a different color because "management is trying to force people to take these" so someone will have to come out a seventh time when the right doorbell finally comes in. Not to mention I was being charged for the doorbell despite the fact I didn't even have it until last week. Also, I told multiple technicians along the way that we can't hear the alarm upstairs when we are in certain rooms and was told someone was supposed to reach out to us to solve the issue, but no one has because I have had to initiate almost every single appt and contact with you guys. I've been told time and time again someone would contact me, but they never did.

When the power is down it doesn't work and it keeps beeping, beeping, and beeping forever so that's kind of annoying. I was really hoping for additional services in your package. It seems to be that the garage opener included that will work with the alarm they want to charge me for.

The beeping is to indicate to you that the security system is running off the backup battery and it's important to restore power. If you have an issue, customer service follows right up with it. Sometimes their equipment is dated and then they won't upgrade the equipment unless you sign another contract.
