They have the best price in the area and we haven't had an issue so far so it's been great. We love that Guardian Protection offered a military discount for military families so that was definitely a plus for us. We haven't had any problems so far.

I had some trouble with the audio part of the doorbell camera, so I called them up and they jumped right on it and reset it over the phone and got it working right away. They have excellent customer service. I can check everything with my cell phone or iPad and the equipment works fine.

It has been very reliable and everything seems to work. Right now I'm at a point where, because of my personal experience with the installation, I wouldn't recommend it. When the house was built 10 years ago, it was the only security system offered. There are more advanced systems available now than they were when my system was installed. They're becoming a little pricey compared with their competition, and for several occasions, I've had to call 2 to 3 times to get a response that answered my questions. That's over the course of 10 years, so that's pretty good.

I haven't had a whole lot of dealings with customer service, but I've had a good response as far as calls being answered. I have a appointment for a technician to come out and reset a sensor that came off the door, and so far it's all been good. The equipment is a lot better than anything I've used up to this point.

Guardian Protection was recommended by our builder. Whenever I talk with someone on the phone, they're great. I think that the technician that came out to install it could improve on how well they familiarize the customer with the system. I would like to have had some kind of quick user guide, just so that before you can delve into reading the whole manual about the system, you can get a quick "here's what you need to know about the basics to use it." It's only been a month so far, but we haven't had any issues with the equipment.

I think that everything that they provided was really high quality, except for the pressure system that reads when window glass is broken. That tends to go off frequently for no reason, as though there was some trouble.

I had them for about 18 years, and then I moved. I tried them again, but I'm a little disappointed this time. I was sort of misled, in that I didn't know that the cameras they put up didn't record. They told me, "we can give you a four hundred dollar box and it'll record!" If the cameras don't record, I can't sit there all night and watch, so I was disappointed in that, but I went ahead and got the box. I also wanted a doorbell with the video and audio, but the guy who came to install it all said, "I can't put that up." That was another four hundred dollar thing, too. I sent it back in, and never have gotten my four hundred dollars back. They said they would put that box in, and he was here about eighteen minutes, but I think they charged me a hundred and ninety nine dollars to install everything. I think I'm just going try to break contract or something; I'm really disappointed if they don't come down on that. As far as customer service, I'm not getting any resolution on this. The people say they'll call me back, and they haven't called me back, so I'm really disappointed in that, and I don't want to keep calling them. I wish they would call me and let me know what's going on. On the equipment itself, I have to rush to shut it off, so I'm trying to figure out how to make it last a little longer when I come in so I can have time to put my code in.

I went with Guardian Protect because they offered the wireless feature on my cell phone. It's pretty expensive. I'd say the equipment works; it's very easy to use. I think their technical people are very good; they were the ones that have come to my house numerous times. They have all been well-trained and know what they're doing, but you can never get the right person on the phone, though.

I enjoy the wireless aspect of it- the fact there were no wires that need to really be connected to the sensors. Initially, we didn't get the the panel installed like it was supposed to be. The original installer had a desktop controller and we had asked for a mounted one. Subsequently, Guardian did come out and make that adjustment at no cost to us. So far it has functioned exactly as it's supposed to.

The builder offered Guardian and I decided to make it easier for myself. Haven't had any problem, and they've been very helpful when I needed to ask them questions, so right now it's pretty good. The only issue that I have so far is that I don't like where I can't see how to disarm the alarm very easily. It does not light up, so I have to improvise using my phone. It's easier to turn the system on and off that way rather than using the keypad.

I had them for about 10 years and never had any problems with them, they do a very adequate job. Whenever something happens we always get a call or email almost immediately. There's like a 5 second delay. The equipment is also pretty good, it's the latest technology.

When we moved to this house the system was already set up. After we got everything installed and done, the actually called us to make sure that everything was working properly. The equipment is super easy to use, especially compared to other companies.

The service was recommended by someone a long time ago. They have always been very prompt, courteous, and aware of what I needed. If the alarm goes off I get called immediately and they are right on the ball with that. I've had some problems with the equipment, but when I call them they're very good about that.

I'm an old customer and my brother has been working for them for more than 16 years. The customer support and technicians are great and always very knowledgeable. They have kept up to date with equipment and everything. Design-wise it's really good.
