I've had my system for less than two months and smoke alarm started chirping. Couldn't get it disabled, tried calling for assistance at three separate times and could not get to a live person. Had to put the alarm in my basement because the noise was so annoying. Now I dread trying to get a new smoke alarm.

I had Northstar before and the alarm panel was easy to manage. The alarm panel that Protect America provides isn't as easy to navigate. Everything else from the sensors to customer service has been awesome.

In some ways I got really good service because they actually reduced the amount I was going to have to pay every month, but they told me they were going to have somebody come to my house to hook up the equipment because I am a senior citizen and I would have trouble doing it myself. After I got the equipment, they told me to find somebody myself to set it up. I haven't been able to get it all hooked up by myself and have had to put it on hold because of construction.
