I like how easy it is to install the system. However, you should put in the box with the equipment that each zone is already preprogrammed. So that customers are not connecting these sensors to windows and doors and then finding out later that your window is now a door and your door is now a window. Other than that system was easy to install. Cameras came with no instructions to install them. No telling you to download an app or how to connect it to your phone. Something you could improve on for sure.

I had thought of security for the home for years but because of Brandon's ability to explain and help me to choose a package that was the best for our family, it has become a reality. I have had alder for about 4 to 5 years have not had one problem with my system when a alarm goes off they call within seconds have had other security companies in the past and none of them even come close in response time i have a sensor on my shop door and sometimes when I come home I go to shop and forget about alarm on shop door and alarm goes off alder calls within seconds I couldn’t be more satisfied they r great

Would not recommend. I made the mistake of signing up for the service and had to cancel early. $2000 to do so. WATCH FOR THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL clause in the contract. 60 month (5 years) contract with 12 renewal terms, that’s 60 years. You only have 15 days from the start of the “renewal” to cancel and if you are like me you will miss that date unless you have an alarm. They “give” you the option to have someone else take over the contract or to move it but that’s only if they are in your area. They prey on those who don’t read the contract and understand what that contract is stating.

The camera that I received stopped working immediately. Since I didn't even call for security and certainly don't have the money to waste, I asked for service to be cancelled. After receiving a message from my bank about suspicious activity I began "spamming" alder with cancelation emails. They waited to get back to me before different people started to respond. They wouldn't cancel then wanted to tell me I had a five year contract. How I could give someone else my rip-off account or "cancel" but still pay for five years of service that I can't utilize

I rate Alder as "1" because I received equipment promptly but was unable b to install on my own even with the headaches of foreign speaking technical phone instruction. My recommendation is in home installation is greatly required. Sensors did not stick to surface properly. Monitor did not recognize some equipment. Monitor beeped regularly without my control. Requested home installation support that never happrn

I have had the system for over a month and still can't get it to connect to a cell tower. I tried calling customer service several times but no one can seem to help. They said they were going to send a new SIM card and I still haven't received it or any tracking information on it! I messaged Austin several times about the tracking information and today he told me to STOP messaging him! This company is a SCAM!!!

Disappointed with the performance of the unit being able to continually monitor the door sensors from a very reasonable distance. The sensors keep disconnecting from the master station. Even after repeatedly replacing batteries in the sensors. We have been unable to reach a human being for help.

The cameras that were sent to me don't link to the Adler app, no problem, the interface just needs to be merged between the two. My real problem is that the cameras that are supposed to last 4 months, might last 3 days, even when set to low sensitivity with 6 second recording. The cameras also won't pick anything up unless it's roughly 10 feet in front of them, any distance longer than that and they never pick it up.

I purchased the Alder product after speaking with a sales person over the phone. I was told information that was misleading and turned out not to be true. I asked to discontinue the service but was told I couldn't do that. I cannot afford the service yet every month the continue to bill me. I have had to cut back on my prescriptions in order to continue to pay this bill. I don't understand why your company treats people this way.

Monthly fee was more than I was quoted. Was told the battery would last 6 months on each camera and I've already had to charge both of them. Most times the live feed doesn't load.

I am super surprised to read all the negative reviews. We switched to Alder a year ago and have had no problems at all. They few times we have needed service they have been very responsive. We received the credits promised for buying out the contract from our previous security company. Hopefully our good fortune with the company will continue.

I was under the impression initially that because I was being chosen as P R tool for my neighbor, that there would be no cost to me. But that soon changed as the conversation went on. I believe that Adler trained their workers to use that initial free line just to get the customer to take the bait. Well it worked but I just wanted you to know I could have rejected the whole deal, if I had wanted to but I'll try it out. Seems like something I can use.

Timing was bad the first day but Mike W. was awesome about accomodating our schedule. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Then on install Terrell was great to work with. He went through everything and showed us how to work it with no problems. They were both kind and courteous in our home.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. DO NOT USE ALDER! They automatically renewed by 5 year contract without notifying me or giving me the opportunity to cancel which is ILLEGAL in the state of New Mexico. HORRIBLE customer service and their business is based in deceit and lies. I have paid my overpriced bill on time every month for 7 years - it went up recently even more so I decided to cancel and they WOULD NOT ALLOW IT. They don't even deserve one star.

Alder Security makes it unpleasant and difficult to no longer receive Alder Security once your contract ends. I signed up with Alder Security through AT&T and was not told that I was being locked into an Alder Security contract for 3 years with no ability to cancel unless I pay Alder Security for the remainder of the time I had left on the contract. Accepting an Alder Security service was a mistake on my part as I moved and did not need it the last 2 years of the contract but still had to pay monthly

The service doesn't work. I wish I wasn't stuck in a contract. I've called and complained and I was told by the lady that there's nothing to be done. They told me I could just sell the equipment to someone else, but I still have the monthly payment.
