The gentleman was at our house for the longest time to make sure that everything was set up correctly, and he was nice the entire time. He explained everything to us the entire way through. The numbers are much bigger with Alder, and the voices for when the door is opening isn't so loud. I definitely like the flow of Alder more than the other company I've used, and I'm glad I made the switch.

The customer service is great, they were very diligent in following up when the equipment actually arrived and to make sure that I had everything I needed in order to install. There is no bulky equipment and it's simple to use.The customer service is excellent. The installer was very, very professional and explained everything to me. My experience has been really good, they always call me right away if I put my code in wrong or go out the door without putting it in. It's a little pricey, but I'm willing to pay it.

There were a couple of times when the alarm was set off and they were right on the phone with me to make sure everything was ok. The one thing is that they didn't tell me I'd have to pay a little extra instead of bringing my bill down but the service has been good.

My security system stopped working not even a week after activating it. I have addressed the problem as soon as the panel stopped working. Costumer service requested a new panel to be delivered to me. It has been over a month and i STILL have no received a new panel. Although the employee who initial registered me was helpful at first, this situation has prolonged for OVER a month and I still nothing. In addition, i have been charged for multiple months (yet qualified for 2nd month for FREE) even though I am not even able to use what I'm paying for. I've contacted costumer service multiple times, and i don't feel like my situation is taken seriously or anything has been done to resolve this issue except being told "we've sent a request to the supervisor". But still no updates on why there is a delay.

From the start , I Already knew what I wanted to order and the salesman was telling me you don't need to order all that . He was explaining all the ways to cover what I wanted to cover with less equipment. That in itself was refreshing. I was sent the receipt via email and the tracking number. After I received the alarm system I also received a phone call from customer service asking me if I had any question at that point. Again freshing. A few days later tech support called and asked how the install went and if I had any questions. I must say I really appreciated those phone calls. As for the install . It could not have been designed any easier. Every step was broke down to simplicity. When I did come up with a question , tech support clear it up after verifying the the accuracy of the answer . I felt reassured I was in good hands. If I was going to complain about anything it would be I was on hold for 10 minutes before I connected with a tech support agent and that in itself was not too bad.

Met Harrison--sales rep, last night. His knowledge of the product impressed me enough to invite him in. Because he was new to the company...he requested permission to invite his supervisor to the house. His supervisor arrived within minutes. Their professionalism impressed me enough to listen to their information. I purchased the product. As soon as the deal was made, they contacted an installer, who arrived within 15 minutes...and went to work. Within 45 minutes, our system was installed. The technician stayed and insured that, we understood the system completely..to include test runs. Best customer service I have ever received as a new customer.

Enjoyed my experience talking with Rob. He was very thoughtful an courteous in explaining the use and options of their product and use of the Alder Alarm system. He was very detailed in explaining cost and installation process an also how long it will take for the technicians to install the Alarm system. The Technicians was knowledgeable an took time to walk me through in using the digital display control panel. They also gave me new key remotes to put on my key chain so I can activate or deactivate without using the display panel. Also gave me a "Life Alert" also to wear as a necklace for convenience. I will definitely recommend Alder to family, neighbors an friends. Thanks again!!!

This is the worst company I have ever done business with. I would not wish them on anyone. One of their sales reps showed up one summer telling me how VIVINT (who we then had) was going to require bank account info and deposits, etc. ALL COMPLETE LIES! Great way to build rapport with your customers, start out by lying to them. They installed their security system. They used the wrong type of sensor for the type of front door we have so it often said the door was open when it wasn't. It would often trigger false alarms, so we had to quit using it. I called them on the phone to get someone to come out and fix it. Their version of customer service is: We will tell you how to fix it over the phone. This went on for 9 months or so, with no success getting it to work correctly. I had to send them pictures, call back repeatedly, finally they agreed to send someone out to fix it. Of course the scheduled appointment was for a month or so into the future. The employee shows up, looks at it, says he will fix it, and leaves for while. He comes back, looks at it again, says he is finished and leaves. He didn't change anything. He gave me his cellphone number so I called him up and said when was he coming back, as he didn't fix the sensory. He hung up on me. More calls to Alder brought out this same incompetent employee, this time with his supervisor. They finally did seem to get the front door sensor working correctly. This was after a year of repeatedly calling them. I believe at some point they may have replaced the panel. They told me they would give me a months credit on my bill for all of this trouble. I don't believe that ever showed up. Now the back door sensor has problems. The magnetic piece they put in the door jam is too loose so it often gets pulled up and sticks out, where the door won't shut or it knocks off the sensor on the door. Calls to Alder about this-because it gives me a sensor tamper issue-of course tells me how to fix it myself. I can get it to work sometimes. They did give me a free doorbell camera, of course it doesn't work 15% of the time or so. To summarize: 1. They lied to me to get their business. 2. They install incorrect sensors for the type of doors you have. 3. Their version of customer service is we will tell you on the phone how to fix our mistakes. Just avoid them unless you really like frustration.

Because when this system was advertised to me I was told I would rd over a door camera and never did . When I call back to ask the rep told me that wasn't included in my pricing that was one of main reasons why I even wanted the alarm system because I receive a lot of packages

Needs alot of improvement. Could have better customer service representatives. I'd like a call when my alarm is triggered not a text or email or nothing at all sometimes. Better security setups would make us feel safer. Better quality of camera's. Camera's are not good checking from the phone's especially at night time. Takes forever to load the app to even see the cameras. Camera's resolution is off jumps around. Camera's are not clear half the time. Poor quality in service.

Iffy at best!!! I have had issues with sensors not alerting when the doors were opened. I have had the panel go off when just sitting watching tv and alarm not armed. But the biggest complaint I have is I wasn't told that I need to register my alarm with the sherrifs department. I was fined for the false alarm and fined for not having my alarm registered. Really makes me want to do away with the alarm in all actuality.

I felt they took advantage of my situation, I thought I was talking with a representative from my current security co. When I asked if he was working under contract with the company I was with he didn't deny it just saying we're our own company. The technician did not put sensors on doors he listed as being secured & did not activate the remote but told me it was ready to go. I spent an hour on the phone with another technician setting these things up myself. I was charged the activating fee of $9.80 twice when I questioned it I was told they didn't know why that happened but they could not credit it until I sent them a copy of my bank statement proving both payments had cleared my account! I had no issues with the company I had been with for the past 10 years and I regret changing.

Customer support is horrible and your ability to successfully ship any replacement parts is abysmal. We are still waiting on a battery back up for our main alarm panel. You shipped it once to the wrong address which you have done before on other items. I point out that you need to ship to our mailing address and I have no idea as to what you do next.

The customer support I received was good, she was able to help me and give me money that was promised once I cancelled my other service. But, the salesmen need to be more honest to the customers so that they know what they are getting. The salesman I had was rude and lied to me.

They showed up at my door saying that they had taken over the company I was with. They're quick to respond if the alarm goes off. But it takes forever for tech support, I had a problem with the equipment and they never fixed it until they finally called me back. The alarm goes off unnecessarily because the sensor attachment falls off the door. It costs too much for what they are.
