The initial contact and information about GoHealth was very good. However, I haven't seen or heard anything from the plan as far as emails and information packet or personal contact from Vanessa. I'm also concerned about this plan being an HMO, which was not revealed in our 1 hour plus telephone visit.
The Final Word
GoHealth also offers its own programs called GoHealth Access. These programs offer access to virtual care, additional discounts on some kinds of care, and some offer accident and critical illness insurance coverage. While these programs do not replace traditional insurance plans, they are a nice offering for GoHealth clients.
Both companies also show health plans that small businesses can offer their employees. Both companies offer unbiased support to small business owners. eHealth agents work directly with the insurance company when issues come up. GoHealth offers more services to employers with its self-service HR tools and year-round assistance from an account manager. GoHealth also offers tools and support for employees. These include personal assistance from a licensed adviser and access to virtual care.
Whether you are an individual or employer shopping for health insurance, GoHealth is a great option.
