After a good 6 months trying to get my online account access in order with customer service, I finally figured it out myself. I was using the wrong email address to log in with even though it was the same as what was in my account. Apparently you can have a different login email than what's in your account for communications. That is so confusing. They didn't even catch that.

I called them to ask what doctor I should see and she gave me a doctor in network. But then they denied my claim. I called and he checked and said she is in network, but then the appeals department yet again denied my claim. So they just lie to you repeatedly. This is not ok, it’s disgusting.

Horrible Company- Horrible Services Horrible Doctors Pick another company. They don’t care 1 bit.
The Final Word
Ambetter and Florida Blue both offer Affordable Care Act (ACA) health plans. The plan options include all of the regular tiers with a variety of network and cost-sharing structures. While both companies make their plans visible online, Florida Blue has a nicer interface for displaying plans. Florida Blue also offers Medicare and plans that employers can offer to their employees.
With their Marketplace or ACA plans, both companies offer some perks. Ambetter offers care management services, maternity health programs, and health management programs. The company's Your Better Health Center has resources with financial advice and health tips. Some of Ambetter’s plans also include a rewards program and optional dental and vision.
Florida Blue offers a rewards program with all of its Marketplace plans. All members age 18 or older on a plan can earn up to $100 through this program. Florida Blue Centers are another resource available. At these centers, plan members can receive help understanding and enrolling in a health plan and get health tips.
Florida Blue gets our recommendation because it is a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield. BlueCross BlueShield has earned favorable reviews on Best Company. In contrast, many Ambetter members do not recommend buying Ambetter plans.
