I didn’t like the fact that even though I explained to FDR that I was retired and the deposit amount didn’t change even though the amount of my credit reduced. I have only one credit left on my account and every month I have to call in and ask FDR to change my deposit amount. I felt like my explanation meant nothing

I could not get a straight answer the majority of times I emailed questions. Additionally, their fees are too high. In hindsight I should have negotiated my own settlements and saved thousands of dollars. In the end, they did not save me that much. You go in to the process thinking you’re going to cut your debt by 50%. That is not the case with their fees. The timeline I agreed to with a set monthly amount will not be met. This is extremely disappointing. Could it be due their fees? I have multiple lessons learned from this process. Overall I can’t recommend them to anyone.

They helped me with my overall debt but I was not informed properly of the time frame that the program would end. I was told my debt would be cleared in four years but I'm actually set to graduate in 5 years. Due to the amount of time it took and interest and fees being accrued with creditors and fees charged by FDR, even after the "50%" reduced debt I ended up paying the same amount I would've just paid to the creditors. And my credit score didn't benefit in any way. In short I could have just closed the accounts and paid off the balance myself and benefited more. I wasn't going to bring this up but I was sent numerous emails asking over and over so there's my experience.

well first a five year debt was settled for the full amount--while other debts were settled for 53-54% of total debt--second I recently found out a debt that was settled you are only paying $5.00 a month and I was not aware of this and thought based on your numbers there was less then $1,000 left
