In the beginning, very helpful. I've found that there is some improvement to be gained in regards to reaching out to customers to keep them abreast of progress of negotiations with creditors, updates on how credit is being impacted etc. Though I'm sure like everyone right now, this company can be given some leeway for staffing complications due to covid 19. I like the service, I just think there should be more human to human interactions regarding progress throughout the time as a customer. Emails about settlements are confusing, it just shows the offer and asks whether you approve. No one there to tell you if a better deal could be made, or whether denying a current offer will help get a more reasonable one in the future etc. Overall though, if your back is against the wall, it's been a helpful service.

What I like about national debt relief is there able to help me get rid of my debt. What I don't like about national debt relief which is why they're getting a minus one star is that have to have at least 25 to 45% of your money collected in their account system in order to pay your off your debt. Right now I'm having a situation with them. I need them to pay off my University of Phoenix school debt, not student loan. I have been in this problem for a while now with the national Deb relief and they're not listening to me on paying them off first. They able to pay off four things first before them. When I told them I need that paid off first in order for me to get my Master's degree and get my official transcripts. That's the one problem I'm having with them right now and that's it. Other than that they're a good company.

This company is empathetic and professional. If you stick with the plan they present the time just flies by. I do suggest logging on regularly to keep up with your account balances and continuing to ask questions regarding the progression. The team is more than happy to assist and answer any questions. They are a great alternative to bankruptcy. Take a deep breath and jump in.

They have handled my debt for 35 months, I'll be debt free in 11 months if all goes well. Every call made to NDR has been excellent, the person I talked to knew my situation completely and they were very understanding of what was happening at that time. There is a light at the end of all this, they help you walk through the financial challenge, good to know there is someone in your corner helping you get out of debt.

When I joined the program in Feb 2020, I was drowning in unsecured debt. My ex-wife and I had declared bankruptcy in 2011 and as a divorced father of 3 paying child support, I began to accumulate debt again. Then in 2020 I realized I had to take control of the growing debt. I contacted National Debt Relief and now, I am free of that debt! I can breath easy and not stress over my poor financial situation or poor credit. And I am a much more responsible spender. Thanks, NDR!!

The National Debt Relief was my life saver. A friend had given me a different place to call. I decided to google help with debt relief and read the reviews on 10 different ones. Every sight said National Debt Relief was the best. When I saw the rating on them I was sold. I called got a gentleman who spoke to me explained everything to me. Based on talking to him I decided that was the Best call I would ever make. Every time I call everyone who I talk to is very knowledgeable, extremely polite and have MY best interest in mind, I can't sing their praise enough.

I was very impressed on how they handled my accounts at first... I paid off the contract in October of 2020, 7 months after signing a 2 yr contract I was disappointed in how long it took to settle on my last 2 creditors. It took them over 9 months to get them settled even having all the money there to pay them off. That was very frustrating....but all in all...was very happy after the final payoff was finally settled. Yes, I will definitely recommend this company to my friends. Thank you for helping me out of my tough situation and I cannot wait till I get my good credit back again.

It was a dark and dim future I saw with my credit after having lost a job and making ends meet. I resolved that by being diligent and fight to look for another job and keep working....SO
The next step was to deal with my credit issues. Having fallen behind, I needed money before I started getting paid. In essence, I was needing to spend money I didn't have yet, so I searched for loans. I was directed to NDR
It took two weeks to get them started, on my part. They are ready to save you money if you just read the information as to what they are about, will accomplish and how the benefits will come. I was skeptical, but that was being uninformed as it was my doing. Now, I know what I want from NDR and they are delivering. The creditor WILL tell you they can do the same thing for you but that is when its too late and not as beneficial a settlement as NDR can do for me. NDR will take those debts off your shoulders and relieve the stress the day you get interviewed and even more when you actually let them start working for you.. There is so much more to say with the light shining bright at the end of the tunnel and Im just getting started.

Since I’ve been in the program I have felt such relief knowing that they are working with my creditors instead of me having to. They also have made great settlements for less then half of what I owe! They have been very helpful and thorough. I highly recommend working with them if you are wanting to becoming debt free!

They walked us through how the whole program would work. Yes, we pay into a savings account that meets our budget and they work fearlessly to get a good settlement on our behalf. We get to make final decisions on any settlement before payments are made.
They give us updates along the way. Very good company to work with to get out of debt instead of fine for bankruptcy

they were easy to talk to and explained how their process works. I have been in it for about five and half months. I have already had two offers to settle: one I could do and one I could not do yet. I hope it goes the way they say. The only result I do not like is my credit score takes a big hit, but they explained that to me and I understand why. Since you don't make any payments to your creditors, but to National Debt so they can negotiate a settlement. I will feel better when this is over and we can get to rest of our life.

Overall the program is good. I had a significant amount of debt from a renovation that went south, wedding, and poor spending habits that totaled about 80k over six credit cards. Of course this happened right before COVID in January 2020. I felt like I was drowning paying about $2500 in interest per month, alone. I spoke to a customer services rep, Marvo, and he answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable and responsive. I was very hesitant to proceed, but didn’t have many other options, besides bankruptcy. I started depositing the amount requested, which was about $1200 a month and received my first settlement offer after 7 months. The only problem I have with the program is that they charge the full fee with the initial first payment withdrawal to the credit card company. I just think it’s in the customer’s best interest to spread it out over the course of each payment towards the settlement. I ended up settling my discover card outside the the program and my own since they approached me directly and was able to resolve within a few months (thankfully my spouse was able to help me out a lot with that settlement). I have settled all of my accounts and currently in repayment until the October of 2022. I will be done in about 32 months compared to the original 54 months that they noted. I was sued once and in response, NDR was able to negotiate a settlement and the Attorney’s office they contract with took care of it, but required a few signatures. NDR spread out the fee over the course of a 3 months period, which I appreciated. For my last account that had not been negotiated yet, NDR called me and said I was eligible to take out a loan to pay off all remaining payments and negotiate and offer with the last company, then I would only have 1 payment of $1000/month. It was a balance of 30k that would be required for the loan and I inquired about the interest rate from the lending company and it was 22% and equates to 16k in interest (I did not think this was in my best interest, so I declined the offer). I ended up putting an extra $100 per week for several weeks (I ate like a rabbit and made other sacrifices like canceling Subscriptions, etc to do this). They called me after about 7 or 8 weeks of doing this to settle my last account. I put any extra cash that I shaved off for my monthly budget and deposited extra at several points throughout the program. My credit score did tank, but it has slowly been recovering now that they are all in repayment. I will save about $20k (excluding interest that accrued) with the settlement relief program. It takes patience, time, and sometimes extra funds, which makes sense to be able to negotiate in a timely fashion. A lot of the negative reviews I have read have been from people that don’t understand how the program works or refuse to take ownership of their bad spending habits and improve these behaviors. I will say, I read a few that involved the eligibility with the loan and seems like it made things worse for them and extended the time frame they are paying for the debt by several years. I would just use caution and your best judgment with making that decision.

Debt Relief has been a GOD send. They have put my mind to ease, although one creditor representing Comerica is harassing me and trying to serve me. I told them I'm in Henry Ford hospital in Detroit with a heart trans plant and failed Kidneys not to mention my rare infection that's antibiotic resistant. My wife told them that and they don't care. I'm confident. NDR will handle this a as usual expeditiously ! National Debt Relief is a caring and helpfully company that is actually there to help people in their times of distress ! 4 Debts of around $100K. 5 months into the program and the first one of $25K settled at $7K already. So far it is everything they promised, I got a few creditor calls initially, but now nothing, and I certainly haven't needed the legal protection insurance yet. They can't illustrate what the credit rating drop will be, mine went down from 700's to 465, but it's climbing up again now and in the low 5's and looks like I'm on track to settle everything well before the 48 months estimated. If your are in a really bad place financially I would highly recommend this before bankruptcy (or worse).

The best thing I ever did! It is amazing how easy this is to get done. No only do I only have one monthly payment instead of 7, my payments went down by almost half! I thought all these debt consolidation places were a scam, but I went ahead and did it out of desperation. Getting divorced and having to deal with all the debt myself was overwhelming. All I have to do now is make a monthly payment and they pay the creditors with the money I send. I urge anyone struggling with debt and keeping their head above to use these guys! Life changing!!

I’ve been with NDR for quite some time! At least since I decided to get control of my financial situation. It’s been a great journey. National Debt Relief has taken a lot of stress off my shoulders. From the very first phone call to the current moment they have been nothing but great. The process is easy you give them all your information at the very beginning and then when they get a settlement they send it to you for your approval and then the payoffs begin. It’s awesome to see my credit score going up, slowly but it’s going in the right direction, and to see delinquent accounts being removed from my report. Highly recommend National Debt Relief, if you are willing to take the risk.

I have had no issues with NDR. They followed the contract like they said they would as far as length in months. According to my online dashboard I have paid off my creditors, but have heard nothing with regards to closure. In fact it looks like a payment is being taken in July.
I started my debt payments on a contract with a different company and was very dissatisfied. (Performance Settlement) They knew I had pending problems with the IRS and I informed them at the beginning that I might have to decrease the amount they took each month. The IRS later demanded an installment agreement with me. I notified PS and they decreased the payment for about 2 months and started taking the full amount again. With IRS payments I could not pay my bills and fell behind on my mortgage. Repeated attempts to straighten the problem out with PS failed so I pulled the plug, instructing my bank not to pay them any more.
Communication and follow up with NDR is much better.

I'm able to contact them freely and discuss my concerns and get most questions answered to my satisfaction. However, when I try to ascertain which creditors they are currently in contact and or advise them to connect with a creditor that have personally sent me an offer, the responses I get are not always clear. I like to be in the know and I feel they can do a better job of providing some visibility of what's happening behind the scenes.

When I became a victim of identity theft and had to put a freeze on my account, National Debt Relief did not fuss, whine or complaint, a freeze was put on my account. When my husband was off work with a long illness, we fell behind on our debts, and the creditors were calling daily, I thought bankruptcy was the only solution. I saw a commercial for National Debt Relief, and decided to give them a call. The representative walked me through the procedures step by step, and helped me work towards a solution. All my debts were settled; however, when I looked back over my account almost all the money I saved went to NDR for their fees. I can’t really fault this because I knew their service would cost me and they basically handled all the negotiations for me. In addition, when you graduate you don’t receive anything. No documentation, no program summary, you receive no copies of the agreements in case anything comes back down the road. On the downside, they don’t negotiate terms other than the amount it appears. It would have been nice for them to include credit report assistance such as adding “paid in full terms or pay for delete” with the settlement. After graduating 2 of my creditors who agreed to the settlement decided to put the remaining balance into collections. I contacted NDR and they are helping me with this so this is a huge plus. I had a substantial amount of debt and only 2 out of the 7 creditors are still causing issues with my credit report and attempting to collect the remaining balance after settlement. Their customer service was great despite being told incorrect information by one of the reps in the past but I was able to pay off 5 of my creditors early so I would say overall my experience was great.
If you are struggling with paying your debt, live in constant anxiety over it, and see no way out, NDR is the way to go. Be warned, your credit score will take a huge hit and it will take time for it to recover so if you want to purchase a home in the near future, the program may not be the best fit for you.
