Usually I call them, but they do send me text messages when they get one of the companies to settle. The only thing is that I wasn't really aware of the cost of it, maybe I didn't read it. The portal they have is easy to use, keeps you informed of the progression and where they are in each step. I received many emails from them to keep me informed. When I reached a certain stage they talked to me about a consultation loan that was a fabulous deal. My debt was cause by my Cancer treatments, medical care and prescriptions. Essential information was provided by email, in my dashboard, and by text, making it easy and much less stressful to stay on top of my key tasks and to be informed how to handle expected situations. Freedom completed my first negotiation in less than two months and I am eager to have the remainder of them resolved soon. If I had tried to continue handling my financial situation on my own I would be suffering the same damage to my credit without any meaningful relief to my overall burden. Horrible customer service, horrible communication. I had high hopes three years ago when I signed up to relief my debt. After making payments of $575 for three years, and going delinquent with my Chase account FDR settled ONLY AFTER I TOOK ANOTHER LOAN OUT FOR $1,000 OVER what my initial debt was 3 years ago. I will NEVER recommend this company and make it my mission to let everyone know how horrible my experience was.

As I have just started it is hard to rate your progress, the only problem I have I'd the constant phone calls, they bother me because I was always diligent in paying my bills.

We know how overwhelming those phone calls can be but want to reassure you that for most clients, the creditor calls start to lessen as we start to get accounts into settlements. Usually around the 6 month mark is where clients really start to see progress. We appreciate you sticking with the plan!
