They resolve debts in lump sums with companies which helps us have low settlement offers, however the settlement fee can add up quickly, so be prepared to watch your first deposits go towards those settlement fees.

The company sounded like a solution to my son's problems. He is in college and went overboard with his credit cards. Instead of Bankruptcy we looked for an alternative. They dont offer a loan but negotiate for you to lower your balances. You pay them for this service. You can do the same thing for free! Make sure you understand how a debt relief companies work.

Freedom Debt is a good program. Freedom Debt was not good for us due to that we were heavily in debt and the cost for their service is actually high. Overall Freedom Debt is a good company and have great customer service.
