they are only taking off the interest and late fees i am still paying back the original amount. and they lied!!! now i am going to be debt free in 2023 or 2024 . even the commercials say 24 to 48 months i will be 5- or 6 years!!!! been sued twice!! thank god i got the lawyer protection. this program totally sucks!! my debt program started in 2018!! don't know when i'll be debt free it keeps changing!!

If you are thinking of using Freedom Debt Relief DON'T DO IT!!!!! You can negotiate with your creditor yourself!!! It won't ruin your credit & it won't cost you an arm $ a leg. I tried to find out how much more was owed to my creditor from FDR and when I asked if I could send in the amount still owed to FDR & pay the creditor earlier they said I couldn't do that. Do yourself a HUGE favor & DO NOT USE FDR (or companies similar to these guys). Also their customer service stinks!! No one can answer a question as they have scripts that they all read & therefore can't ever answer your question.

freedom sat on my largest dept until i was sued. they settled for the full amount of the dept with monthly payments. my other large debtor offered several times to settle for pennies on the dollar freedom did nothing until i threatened to settle it myself.they then settled using my offer . must have taken them at least 30 minutes. then had the gall to charge me $2600 to settle a 2100 debt involving no work on their part. this after sitting and doing nothing for 2 years.

Like to claim that the program will help but seems to just string the program along and take time after the first settlement. Signed me up for many "add on" features because they don't disclose how they will charge extra fees. Claims that fees are clearly disclosed when they are hidden in fine print and on pages that don't attach to settlement offers. Very shady and wish I would have backed out of the program before I received most of my settlements. Supposed to get refunded money 2 weeks ago and am still waiting on it to arrive.

I don't like anything about this company. I cant wait until im done the only person that made out on this is Freedom. I don't see where I saved anything. I was in a tough spot and thought this was a solution. I'm going on 5 years paying $659 a month. I should of filed bankruptcy. I wake up everyday thinking what a bad mistake this was. you can email me back or call me but I was mislead by your sales team for financial gain. I understand I hired Freedom at will but never again.
