Hello Tiffany, like you mentioned we do take a fee, but only once a settlement has been negotiated and authorized by the client and we have started making payments toward the settlement. Our goal and responsibility to our clients are to encourage their creditors to accept lesser amounts to resolve balances. Once we've done this successfully, we're entitled to collecting our fees as we've fulfilled our duties.

I feel as if I could have done this on my own. I have not received any advantage by signing on with FDR. Seven months into this contract and they try to sell you off to a sister company so their loan will be paid off and now your paying another company and I feel as if I’ve been hoodwinked. By the time all is said and done I’ve not benefited at all. I will have paid FDR as much or more than if I did it myself. I would say to anyone asking my opinion to call the credit card companies yourself.

I have had excellent service until yesterday when I called yesterday (02-23-2022). My problem wasn't resolved and I was very unhappy with the response I received from your office today. I contacted my advocate, Pam M After my call to your office and discussed my concerns with her. She is the only "voice of reason" that I talked to today. She is working hard to get a better answer for my concerns. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her help! But your office and responses were unacceptable and very disappointing. If I could give a zero rating, I would but instead I gave a 1.

Everything I have been told from the start has been inaccurate. They misguided us on the total length of the program as well as how and when debts would be paid. Customer service is a joke. Everytime I call I get a different answer. I needed a payoff for one account and kept getting wrong information and it ended up costing me $1000 out of my own pocket that fdr wants to hear nothing about. Even though I have been calling for 4 weeks and all my calls are recorded with them giving us wrong information. I can't believe there are so many 5 star reviews. The majority must be fake. Beware!

I was hoping that they would decrease my debt by 70 percent but for the most part it was around 50 percent. I am hopeful that the upcoming settlement would be a much satisfying deal otherwise no complaints for now.
