Do not sign up whatever you do. The person who talked to me for 45 mins knew I was skeptical and at NO TIME did he explain the fee was a MONTLY fee. I paid $250 for them to do NOTHING. DO NOT, DO NOT sign up. If I hadn’t called in myself nothing would have been done on my account. No one ever contacted me after I was signed-up. I was expected to know what to do and how to maneuver the website and when I called the person was not helpful at all. When I called to cancel I was asked to hold for 2-3 mins and was on hold for 10 before the call dropped. Oddly enough the other time when I called I was placed on hold for 5 mins and cut off. DO NOT SIGN UP!!

Asked them to take my card off the account, guy helping me said they would. Come next month they take TWO payments out of the account!!!! One for 130 and one for 110. Called and explained the situation and they don’t want to refund the 130 that they took out because they said it would have to go for the next months balance. When you sign up for Lexington law, they state that this is a PAY BY MONTH, not a contract. So why when I tell them to take off my card would they just assume they could take off for next month and take 2 payments at that?! They told me that nobody order to take a card off there has to be another on file? As I brought up earlier, this is not a contract!

I wish there was a way to report this company and get a refund. I started with them about 5 months ago. I asked them to focus on items that I have legitemately paid off in full, but were still on my report for whatever reason. Fast forward 5 months, I have had 1 removal for 3 credit points, but then the 3 points were deducted once again 2 weeks later. I called in to cancel, and request a refund, since literally nothing has been taken care of. The lady tells me that it takes 2-3 business days to process a refund, and that I would get a call in that 2-3 days. Its now been 2 weeks. Account was not cancelled, and no call. I called back in today, and was told no refund is possible since their time is worth money, and they cant guarantee results. Meanwhile, none of the items that I paid in full, have been removed or even disputed. It like going to a mechanic, telling them you need tires, coming back later to find out they did a brake job, but no tires, and you still have to pay because the mechanic's time is worth money. These people are absolutely worthless and do not deserve your business. I was told my satisfaction is not a factor.

Lexington Law’s moto “we will jam the system for you”. This company is notorious for “temporarily” removing disputed accounts just to have that account placed back on your credit reports. The reason for this is because they jam the system. A long standing scheme they run along with other “credit repair clinics. Throwing a wrench into the already-beleaguered credit report dispute process, making it harder for the big three credit bureaus to keep up with legitimate disputes. When any consumer sends a dispute to a credit bureau, the bureau will forward it to a lender (known in credit reporting circles as a data furnisher) for verification. In "jamming," a repair clinic will challenge everything. If the review isn't complete because, as commonly happens, a data furnisher doesn't get back to the credit bureau in time, the agency is obligated to remove the disputed record. On Day 31, the credit report is cleansed of disputed but unverified items, and the bad debt vanishes from the consumer's report. The removal of valid items won't be permanent, though. So in a few days or weeks, when the lender reports back, the disputed, but now verified item comes right back. The record of the bad debt gets reinserted onto the credit report. If your original debt has an address different from your updated one the OC can than in return re-age the account. Do your homework folks don’t let these people make your credit reports worse.

My husband filled out this rent-to-own site and he immediately got a call from Lexington Law Firm, long story short... the rep signed each of us up to repair our credit and was told if we weren't satisfied, to go on their website to cancel. That easy. Turns out it wasn't easy and I called them to cancel because I'm having financial difficulties at the moment, before they automatically deducted the first payment. I only had their service for 12 days. I talked to Adam and told him I needed to cancel. He first tells me if I cancel now, I'm still going to be charged $64.95. Or I can be put on their $8.95 monthly report watch and when I'm ready, I can call them and continue with their full discounted $64.95 service instead of paying the non discounted price of $124.95. I agreed to the Report Watch so he put me on hold to go get approval from his supervisor. He came back on the phone and told me it wasn't approved. So why recommend me that option? And why tell me it was easy to cancel on your website when it wasn't? Now they're charging me for 12 days of being with them so I'm not getting my money's worth. Not happy at all. Definitely a scam.

I would give zero starts if I could. They are short staffed and no one can ever answer the phones... was calling over 2 weeks to change my date to another one because my spouse lost his job and I wouldn’t have been able to pay for the services on time. The original acct that I had on there for payment I had removed to my new account and because the payment didn’t go through they charged my other account causing me to have insufficient funds and my account is now in the negative due to them. When I told them they told me to send in a screenshot of my bank account and I did and now they are saying that my screenshot isn’t good enough and I need an actual bank statement. I work over 70 hours a week and I’m a full time student as well and I simply don’t have the time to go up to my bank and go get a bank statement so they are refusing to pay for the insufficient funds fees although they told me previously that they would. I’m very disappointed and will not you them anymore.

My husband and I tried to use them several years ago. They are a bunch of thieves. They took double payments out for both of us every month. They lie and do nothing but steal from honest hard working people. We were originally told our cost would only be $89.99 a month each. Next thing we knew they were taking out $180.00 for me a month and $180 for him a month. It wasn't all at once either. They would go in one week and take $89.99 for me, then do it again a week later, then do the same for my husband. It took almost an act of Congress and a threat of a lawsuit and filing a grievance against them with the Feds to get them to stop. We even had to close out our account and open a new one. We signed up with them for 2 months and all they did was take our money. They claimed they already sent out letters to the creditors but that was a lie. In the end my husband bought a book on how to deal with creditors. Only cost him $45.00 for the book. It tells you how to write a letter to creditors to dispute credit collections on your report. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!!!!

SCAM ALERT!! DO NOT DISREGARD THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS AND DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY! I got their number on credit karma and called to inquire about credit repair. I spoke to their representative and authorized $14.99 on my credit card to review my report (that was the deal they offered). The guy screwed himself by telling me to search their reviews online "to see how great they are so that I can sign up for their monthly subscription." Well I saw the negative reviews and I told him right away "I am not interested in your subscription. I want to shop around, do more research, and get a second opinion". He became very snarky and obnoxious making it seem as if I was crazy to not use their services. I still stood firm on not joining and I thought that was the end of that. Sure enough a week later I get a charge on my credit card from them for $109. I call them to try to dispute it and I'm put on hold forever. You can't reach anyone. I believe they have line for inquiries where they try to sell you (that's the line they answer) and a different line for payment cancellations where you will not be able to reach anyone. I had to go through my bank to file a claim.

I was pretty much pushed into this service when I made it clear to the woman I was talking to several times that there was no way I could afford what they were going to charge me every month when I am on a fixed income an make less than $800 a month. But yet the went ahead and made me sign the papers to do it. I sent several emails telling them to stop it but of course they claim they never received tem. Rip off company...especially with elderly and people on fixed incomes.

The worst investment of my life. I wanted help from Lexington law to remove one bad item from my credit that was a 60 day late payment issue but couldn't get it done within 4 months. Every representative I spoke to said it's a very easy task and my credit is very clean but there was no progress since day one until the last day. I started with a credit score of 690 and now my score is at 647! They claim to be one of the best but I am proof that they are one of the worst. I will never recommend to a friend and if I see an ad about Lexington law I'm going to post my 2 cents if it means saving other people money. $130 per month for 4 months and all they can do is refund me 50% of the last payment. What a bunch of scammers! If I can give no stars I would all they did was steal my money! Directing attorney that was working on my case is Adam F and I believe he doesn't have the experience needed for that job title.

The absolute worst unethical business behavior I have ever witnessed. They suck you in and tell you cancellation is easy. Then when you want to cancel they tell you its done yet out of the blue they keep processing payments. Then with every phone call they tell you its cancelled for good this time and another payment gets processed. Then they tell you that you owe a final balance even though they have been processing unauthorized payments for months after you continually call to cancel your membership. They only way out of their trap is to cancel your credit cards. Absolutely the worst business practices. Do NOT give these people your credit card numbers.

Extremely rude!! I kept getting multiple phone calls a day during my school hours. I finally called back to get my name taken off the call list, I was put through to a guy named Forest. He gave me very vague information and then said “what’s the middle initial on the card you are using today.” When I told him I wasn’t interested in purchasing anything, he began argueing with me about why he was my only option. When he asked what my plan was to get my credit score up, I tried to answer him and he rudely interrupted me by name, and told me he was my only answer and tried to take my card number again. When I repeated that I wasn’t interested in purchasing this program, he hung up on me. Super unprofessional, and only interested in money not the person giving them money. I’m very disappointed. At some point, I would like help with my credit history but I will never use this company. I hope others have better luck.

Just got scammed by a guy named...TYSON if that was his true name. Trying to buy a house and was told about this company my husband contacted them and it took days for a return call. When they called back it was at 8pm. My husband gave information that I wish he would’ve. He paid the guy 14.99 x2 to check our credit score. Then Tyson told my husband We would receive a email from them with all this information that we needed to have never came and its been hours now. He gave a phone number and said press 8 and it would go to his line..lie just rang . Some how he had sent text messages to my cell phone when number wasn’t given told husband he questioned the guy and he said it was given. This guy Tyson suckered my husband into this mess. Now we have been trying to cancel and NO ONE WILL ANSWER... Now we have had to take all these steps to try to stop them from taking anymore money and stop anything else that may come about. HEADS UP THEY ARE GOOD ON SCAMMING PEOPLE...

Just signed up by accident. I was looking for a loan , these people transferred me to this company as if they were going to remove things right away so that I can get a loan ASAP. The rep Christan said she would charge my card on the 12 of 14.99 to rub my credit report and I agreed for the 12. She charged my card the same day then tricked me and made a payment arrangement for 109 on the 12th. She didn’t have to lie , I was going to sign up anyway but because they already started challenging things I’m going to cancel after the first payment. Thanks christan

I was contacted via the following text messages: “Lexington Law here, we work with Evolve Card, the credit line company you just applied for. What time M-F 9AM-12AM, Sat/Sun 10AM-11PM EST for a call? “Hey Drago! I want to discuss the inquiry you made to get negatives removed from your credit. Let's get you help today, can you give me a call?” I did not initiate any contact nor is my name Drago. But before I could even read these messages I had to click CONTINUE on some advertizing message. When I called to ask why I was contacted, I was given a sales pitch and then disconnected. When I called again to check if anything was opened under my name, they demanded my SSN. I asked for verification on their part and they took offense and abruptly hung up on me. If this was mistake on their part, they should have owned up to it. Outrageous!!!

First off this company charged my husband for services that were not rendered and then tried to double talk my husband into more services. All the while he kept telling her that he does not authorize any more charges being made to his account because he wants all services ended with their company. Did she listen him no. After ten minutes of this go around the lady finally chose to listen to him and agreed to cancel all of his service. Oh and before I forget she tried to charge him for services that hadn't and weren't going to be completed since he was cancelling his account with them. This company is a rip off, has terrible customer service and isn't worth your time. They aren't going to do anything in regards to your credit that you can't do yourself. What they will do is gouge you and over charge you. I will never recommend this company to anyone nor will my husband or I ever use a company like this ever again.

Initially they promised a huge improvement in my credit score to chase away the collection agencies. What actually happened was they pissed off every previous and current lender by disputing everything in my name and used my name to do it, although I didn't do this! I only paid them and they got busy. So my life is 500% worse than it was to begin with because old collections that I already paid off came back and asked for the money again because Lexington law disputed that I paid them in my credit report. They disputed crap that was listed forgiven or settled and these companies are back for more because the economy is better than it was many years ago. I have so many new problems because of Lexington Law, even the underwriter in my current mortgage said Lexington Law might screw up my mortgage application with what they did. My score was already okay but I just wanted it to be better than it was. Don't use this company, they could ruin your life!! Seriously it is the most screwed up company you could imagine, their is no logic to their method besides annoying the crap out of people with irrational statements that collectors and banks can see through. I wouldn't be surprised if a big bank owns Lexington Law and uses it to legally scam those who are desperately looking for a better life.

There were negative items being reported on my report that were older than 7 years. No bankruptcy, just charge offs that resulted after medical separation from the service. I decided to go with Lexington to have them removed. After a year with Lexinngton, they are still there! That's why I cancelled. It didn't seem like they cared too much about it. I also had a very bad experience with them, I paid for 2 months and they were able to boost my credit score with only 3 points. You heard that right. Not to mention it was a pain to cancel my subscription, they almost never answer their phone lines. After doing some research I found out that the FTC warns, “Anything a credit repair company can do legally, you can do for yourself at little or no cost.” and also according to the Credit Repair Organizations Act, which is a federal law: Credit repair companies may not take consumers' money until they fully complete the services they promise. So I still don't get how these companies are still running. I was able to fix my credit score eventually, by myself, and the cost was $0. It's nothing that complicated if you do your research, you can read about it here: bit.ly/legal-credit-fix (short link, original is way too big)

I was two years paying for the service with 0 results. I can't think of as easier case to handle. I have a bankruptcy which was my mistake to file for. It lasted for less than two months. With a zero balance from beginning to end. I read mixed reviews about every company but saw Lexington law on the most positive. I can't believe that a case as simple as mine would take that long. I called to see why no actions were being taken in my case, but the paralegal whom assisted me was obviously someone with no experience. When I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes. With the same inexperience paralegal returned. She replied with " um the supervisors are unavailable and the can't change what's on your credit reports" I told her I ask for a supervisor about the service not my credit report, but she continued with they are still unavailable. That when decied to cancel my service. Surprisingly she helped me with that very quickly. Lexington Law is not a company to recommend horrible in customer service, and can maybe help with minor issues. I feel I was scammed with and dragged on till today.
