My first Wells Fargo credit card was opened without my knowledge back during their controversy years ago. Since then, I opened a card because of a cash bonus they offered, and their online portal is…fine. There’s still a LONG delay between purchase and seeing the purchase info online, and I always feel like that’s strategic to try and get you to miss it. It’s a fine card, but they as an organization still seem awful.

I’ve been using Wells Fargo for a very long time. It is a good company however (like most banks) the interest on the saving account is super low so the incentives aren’t great.

When you feel lucky you haven’t had a major issue but rather only inconveniences with your bank, they’ve already set the bar pretty low. They nickel and dime with fees but at least they didn’t open an account without my knowledge yet....or have they?

I had a college credit card here and didn’t like how they would purposefully put interest charges on my card right after I would make a monthly payment or a transaction. This wild then force the account to go over my credit limit. I was so happy when I finally payed off the card and closed the account.

Horrible customer service! They are not great at not making mistakes. They do not own up to their mistakes. They do not approve you for credit cards even with good credit and drop your credit score with hard inquiries. They offer you the card and get you to apply, but still dont approve you. They use false criteria as a reason to deny you. They sell/share your information.
