Eight months ago I cancelled and two months after that they were still sending me invoices. I finally paid to get rid of them, and now they are still sending me a bogus invoice. Their service was horrible, their coverage was horrible, and their billing is crooked. Stay away from this company and avoid some aggravation.

Lousy reception, lousy transmission, extremely limited coverage (don't believe their advertising), texts are not received or sent and just try to get them on the phone, you'll be subject to endless advertising and when that's over you'll find you are 48th in line to talk to someone.

I placed 4 different Phone calls on 9/15 in an attempt to join..was never actually able to complete transaction......very bad customer service experience today..Reps seemed very disinterested in helping me. I was lured by the low cost of the plans but found the experience disappointing. :(

After 3 trips to the Tech Desk at the Target in Glendale, Colorado, I was still unable to get switched from AT&T. Trip 1: I was told my AT&T PIN wasn't accepted. Trip 2: I was told my Galaxy S6 was "locked". Trip 3: I brought in the unlock code from AT&T and was told the CC person "didn't show up today". I'm done.

received sim cards on a Friday for two lines one finally got transferred on Sunday after many calls to c.c. it is now Tuesday night and still trying to get the other transferred they keep telling me to wait three hours and it should be done I'm thinking they meant 300 hours. the savings aren't worth the hassle

I have had the service for a little more than 2 weeks and this is the worst service by far. It reminds me of when cell phones were just becoming popular. Lots of dropped calls and unable to send or receive texts consistently. I'm firing them and going with a different service. They suck!

Buyer beware I never even opened the SIM card because I did not need to activate any phone on consumer cellular yet I was charged almost $35 they said once I purchased the SIM card it was activated. So not only did I give from $5 for the card I gave them $35 for absolutely nothing

After many years, CC jacked-up my plan to $75. I saw my wife was using her phone a lot, so I thought it (unlimited) was OK. When I checked, it turns out my average bill should have been $45. I called CC for a rebate, they said "We cannot). So I SO WITCHED TO sPECTRUM. wATCH YOUR PLAN. tHEY RIPPED ME OFF FOR OVER $700.

I dumped this outfit a couple of years ago due to their completely incompetent tech support. My wife chose to stay with them. Eventually, she needed a replacement phone, with a extra-cost warranty, which they now will not honor. I have since learned that ANY company recommended by AARP or Consumer Reports is to be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!!!

I tried to get it and i they said i needed a sims card so i ordered it and paid $10 to get it shipped faster now they will not ship the sims card and they will not refund my money and they will not turn service on so I'm screwed out of $10 if you want to throw your money away this one is good for that

Company would not refund money when my mom died. Charged the time used for calling to cancel. Never answers call to cancel on hold for hours. Had to use menu to add service to finally talk to customer service. I would give customer service a zero star if I could.

3 sets of SIM cards, and $135 later it still doesn't work. They make setting up wi-fi calling impossible which means if there is no cell service on the network they pick for you, there is no service. Also, make absolutely certain that your service is canceled when you cancel it.

Money hungry company that preferred to lose a long time customer over $4.65. On top of it they have an automatic upgrade system which causes your bill to go up without your consent. Customer service people usually sounded very nice till after I paid my last bill and they overcharge me with no solution to the problem. Never again.

Consumer Cellular sucks you in with there 30 day free trial then make it near to impossible to cancel. Called to cancel waited 30 minutes then gave up. They are quick to talk to you when signing up but you can't get anyone to talk to you when you want to cancel.

Bought an unlimited plan with data and texting. They took weeks to turn both on. I could get calls but nothing else. Had to contact them 6 times. Now asking for a credit for lack of service. Kept being told that I had to wait for the monthly billing period to end to get a credit. They already deducted from my bank for the payment though.

You cannot send photos with texts without using your data. Also, it turns every text message into a multimedia message, for which you have to use data. The customer service rep told me I can't use wifi for these--I must use data. Lots of times I can't get a connection. I thought ATT was bad, but I've actually found a carrier that's far worse.
