I've been using TurboTax since I started filing. It is pretty simple and easy to use. I also like the options they have in which you can have a live CPA help you. Being in the military, it was furthermore nice to get a free upgrade.

My husband has been doing our taxes using TurboTax for the past 3 years. He has been very satisfied with the ease of use and quality of product. Our taxes are fairly simple since we don't have alot of deductions but having the ability to do it accurately without paying a tax preparer is a great way to save some money.

I've used Turbotax Home & Business Schedule C edition every year for the past 12 years. I don't like the upsell prompts for audit defense and having to pay to send in my state taxes which can be performed for free in Colorado. However, it walks me through all the issues and it's updated with the latest edition of the tax law. Very easy to use.

I am single, do not own a home, do not itemize, etc. - very basic filing. I used TurboTax from 2015-2017 with limited issues that were solved before filing. This year, however, I had a 1099-G and as soon as I added the form, I was forced to select the Deluxe version for $39.99. Because I moved out of state in the middle of the year, I had to pay that three times - once for Federal, then for each state - amounting to $120. I stopped right there and tried H&R Block which allowed me to file 100% free and had the identical returns that TurboTax found. The best thing about TurboTax is how user friendly it is. They ask lots of questions to make sure you're really getting the highest refund. You can't miss anything because of how easy and straight-forward it is. However, they do seem to be charging for more and more features, as I was unable to retrieve my previous returns without paying.

The company does free military taxes which is greatly appreciated. Its also one of the most user friendly and helpful online tools to use while doing taxes. It offers great explanations to help make doing your taxes less steessful.

Have used TurboTax many times to do my taxes over the years. It is really easy to use and I like that it asks questions specific to me to help get me the most refund possible. I don't like the constant, almost daily emails to remind me to log in and finish my returns. I know when I want them done and I know when I get documents. I don't need daily reminders to do my taxes. :)

When I have used Turbo Tax in the past, I have been very pleased with how easy it is to use the software. While I might be more intimidated to use DIY tax software for more complex tax returns, I would definitely recommend Turbo Tax and would feel confident that I was being lead through all of the appropriate steps. The program is very user friendly and gives warnings when there are potential issues with the return.

This is my third year using TurboTax after switching from another product. TurboTax has great support and is easy to use and install. I think all the products pretty much calculate your taxes correctly, but TurboTax has an easy-to-use format to get all your information into the system. It can import your W2 information from many sources and seems to handle all the situations I have encountered. It's easy to use to submit your returns online, so you get back you money FAST. Highly recommended.

It took me 10+ years to switch to TurboTax as I had always used a CPA to do my taxes. I waited 10+ years too long. TurboTax is one of the easiest tax software to use and they are THOROUGH. They might not be the cheapest to use for taxes but they have saved me thousands of dollars in taxes. I have even had to use their accountants to assist me and without charge, mind you. That is how good and thorough they are.

I've been using TurboTax for over 10 years and it's an excellent product. It's easy to use and always produces a correct tax form. When you make one entry it automatically fills in all the places on all the forms to make it really easy. The best part is the downloading of bank and stock transactions from your brokerage accounts. This saves a ton of time and avoids many errors. I couldn't be more pleased

I've used TurboTax now for nearly 10 years. I give it a good rating in that it does the taxes efficiently and without having to load software onto a computer. The service also remembers you from year to year so it can quickly go through things based on your past filing information. That saves time and is very valuable. On the drawback there are some charges for certain tax prep features that are not exactly free, however they're not exorbitant and can be considered worth it. In addition it will do your state taxes for you as well which is kind of another perk. It's a good One-Stop shop that doesn't take too much time and gives you a good refund without exorbitant charges.

I like the way TurboTax has made the program as easy as possible. I have used the program for over 10 years and found it to be stable and accurate. The audio/video files used to help you understand better, was a nice touch. I like that you can move around the application on your own or with an intuitive guide for those requiring more assistance. I have not found anything i dislike about the application. I have used the program for many years and will continue to use it.

It is more economical to use the online version Vs buying a program each year. It also offers different options of plans, and even has some free plans. Turbo tax is a great resource for everyone. Also you don't have to pay til you file, so give it a try.

TurboTax makes filing taxes a way easier experience than going into an office or finding an accountant to file your taxes. It puts the control back in your pockets and you don't have to worry about paying any extra fees or paying someone else to complete your taxes for you. And in the future, if you need to access your tax transcript again, it's right there and easily accessible.

TurboTax works so well for me from year to year. It imports all my information from previous years and asks me all the right questions to figure out my tax situation for the current year. There are also online helps for very unique situations, and the ability to upgrade immediately to a higher service level if your tax situation requires it. There is an account login required for product purchases and paying a modest fee for direct depositing, which is not ideal since it is something I use only once a year. It would be better if that could be done without having to set up an account.

We file our taxes with turbo tax. Turbo Tax walks you through step by step. At the end of each section they check to see if you missed anything that might help you. Makes suggestions and reviews all possible tax areas. We had to do some self employed taxes and turbo tax was great at walking us through each step as we weren’t sure where to start. Easy to use.

So easy to use! Different levels of services depending on the intricacies if your return. It walks you through every single thing you fill in and there are Help sections, group sections, chat and a phone number to get direct help. If you have state taxes it rolls all your info over to your state tax form. When my taxes became more complicated, I was paying $700 to get my taxes done. I was pleased to find that Turbo walked me thru each and every item and saves your info to roll over for the next year. Invaluable if you are carrying losses. And only $99! My whole family uses it.

I use Turbo tax every year since 2010. It quick an easy. This year I had my taxes done in February and one week later I had both Federal and State returns in my account with in 10 days. They may not be free but It is worth the small amount to have the back up of the turbo tax. I never buy the expensive package, just the entry level so it was fairly cheap.

It is great that information from previous years is brought up quickly, without us having to dig up old paperwork. We also have a small business and we are able to complete our taxes without issue. I used to pay an accountant over $700, but realized I could do the same thing for a fraction of the cost using TurboTax. I feel like TurboTax captures all the deductions my accountant was using, so I’m not missing out on tax breaks by using TurboTax instead of an accountant.

I've always been afraid to file my own taxes. It just seemed like an overwhelming process that I would get wrong. I had to file my 2018 taxes myself this year and I was so pleasantly surprised with TurboTax. They made it SO easy! And I got a bigger refund than I expected even after having to pay taxes for some freelance work. I'm also a fan of having my taxes filed digitally and I can log in and reference them whenever I need to. I will definitely be using TurboTax again next year. Worth the money!

I love turbo tax! I have always done my taxes myself, and assumed that because I don't own property I was fine. However, I have used Turbo Tax the past two years and found that their suggestions for tax write-offs and deductions are extremely helpful, to the tune of saving me several hundred dollars. I got married last year, and we chose to use Turbo Tax to do our joint return and it made it really easy to navigate together with my husband. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who typically does their taxes on their own.

Super easy to use. It pretty much walks you through the process and calculates as you go. Even the past couple years when our taxes were more complicated it was pretty straight forward how to enter everything in. If you want a quick, cheap, easy way to file this is it. If you have questions, better to pay a CPA. I filed and had to amend 4 different years because I had included income that shouldn’t have been included!

I love TurboTax. It's so easy to follow that I've been able to do my taxes for the last several years. I used to pay twice as much for someone else to do my tax prep and they never got as much of a refund as I get with TurboTax. They find all the deductions and recommend different things to do to make sure I maximize my return. I really appreciate that. And if I get stuck, I can live chat with someone and keep moving on.

I used to do all my taxed by hand, up until about 5 years ago. At that time I started using Turbo Tax and it has been a huge time saver, especially considering that it calculates everything for you and easily considers all tax alternatives. For a simple tax program, I would highly recommend it. Even when I have had a couple of small business related expenses, it covered these items easily in my return. I especially like the discount I get at Costco at the beginning of each year.

I have always just used their free online version and in a short 2 hours I have my taxes filed away. We have been using turbo tax for 5+ (or more) years. We find it to be very user friendly & helpful on prompting questions on these we may have overlooked as possible deductions. Since we do not own any property & file short form, we were tired of paying some of the big brand prices, for such little service. Turbo tax has been perfect for us & is either free to use or a minimal fee based on your needs for that year. Super simple!

I'm a CPA and for most people it really doesn't get easier than Turbo Tax if you're doing it yourself. Price is very reasonable, can be purchased anywhere, walks you all the way through your tax return, and offers assistance after filing to guarantee work and represent you if you're audited for a fee. If you have questions through your return it's easy to contact them online or on the phone. Really couldn't ask for a better program. I've been using them for years just because of how much easier it is than to find all the forms and stuff myself.

Turbo tax is easy to use if you don't know anything about taxes. The downside is it is expensive and is hardly ever actually free. There is no way to check the accuracy of your return as you are unable to view the tax forms until after you file. As a tax professional, I would only use TurboTax if you are very simple taxes and are low income.

TurboTax left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm self employed and filed together with my husband. The first time we used TurboTax, we had a lot of questions and getting quality info was difficult. We would get connected to a person, who didn't have all the knowledge of a tax preparer. This doesn't give you a feeling that you can trust Turbo all the way. We somehow managed to file our taxes after pulling our hair as the automated form online would gives us lots of grief giving errors without specifying where the mistake was. It took us a lot of time to figure out these issues. I also had additional tax questions specific to my employment type and the guy I was connected with gave me bad advice that would have resulted in tax penalties. Thankfully I knew better because what he said didn't make any sense. Later when we filed taxes with someone else irl, they couldn't find a specific table in the tax documents generated from Turbo, so there's that too. Turbo is probably good for someone with very straight-forward taxes (just submit your W-2's and you're good), but for self employed people I don't recommend it. Not to mention that they still charged us around 200 dollars for all this.
