If I could do a half rating I'd give 1.5 stars. If I were to do this again (or recommend to a friend) I would encourage folks to look at other Sonnen Battery installers. If that's not an option, I'd only communicate with TriSMART's engineering and project team through your VPP Texas rep. I didn't choose to work with TriSMART Solar, but was required to by VPP Texas. The crew they sent to my house was absolutely amazing - a master electrician who communicated exceptionally well and was incredibly knowledgeable about code and electrical requirements. He thoroughly answered all my questions, and when the project couldn't be completed as expected, explained the hold ups. The HOA team was also wonderful, they put together all the paperwork I needed to submit. My HOA approved the solar panels without any questions or pushback! However, I had a terrible experience with Radney Santillan and the design team. I reached out to Jordan Lusk, Marco Chavez, Ari Ruelas, and Ryan Hildreth for assistance, but never got any response. Eventually Jacob Greek from VPP Texas stepped in and agreed to serve as the middle man between me and TriSMART Solar. Jacob was amazing and did a wonderful job convincing folks like Radney to exercise common sense. I eventually heard from Dave Barboza but at that point Jacob had resolved most issues. My biggest frustration with TriSMART Solar was their lack of communication during the design phase. I was told I'd get to talk to an engineer, before plans were finalized - but that never happened. To make matters worse, TriSMART only gives you 48 hours after *they think* the documents are emailed to make changes. TriSMART told me they emailed the documents on 7/26, but I didn't receive them until but I didn't get the documents until 45 hours later! They were kind enough to make an exception and give me more than 3 hours to review, but it seemed absurd I'd even need to request an exception. I was surprised to see that the entire system (including location of the batteries in my garage) had been decided for me by the engineers. I then had to argue to get them moved to the opposite side of my garage - which was necessary for us to fit both cars in the garage. More frustrating, TriSMART agreed to let me purchase my own (smaller) bollards than spec'd. The engineer only required 3" diameter bollards, while TriSMART spec'd 4.5" bollards. With space being a premium in the garage, I asked to have 3" bollards installed, and was told this was acceptable if I purchased them. However, only after I purchased the bollards and couldn't return them, did I learn city of houston code required 4.5" bollards, and the 3" bollards I special ordered wouldn't pass inspection. Great, wth am I supposed to do with these 3" bollards?

Honestly I'm not very happy with the company, Aaron the salesman came to my house explained everything of the system well and told me my electric bill was going to no more than $5 a month due to the fact of how much solar i was suppose to gain from the panels and funny things is that we're almost never home, second he told my I was going to receive a check from the company because 2 houses near me got the solar with you guys and that check was suppose to be basically covering the payments of the panels for the next 2 years! I've tried contacting him and the people from trismart by telling them about it and no one's seems to answer after they finish installing the panels. Third of all if I could return the panels and not get trismart I would.

We had a salesman knock on our door and sold us based on how efficient it is to be solar these days. How we would be spending less money then paying 300$ on our electricity bill. When our panels were installed, 1. Two of our panels were installed incorrectly. And 2. We didn't have a battery installed" . And didn't find out until months later. WHAT IS THE POINT? We've called and requested one to be told, right now is not the time to have one installed for some stupid reason. I'm so disappointed in this company. We are paying for the panels, for the system and still paying electricity. This is the worst company don't listen to their stupid lies. We regret this decision and wish we didn't choose them to supply our solar panels

I purchased the contract last September with the promises of HOA application for solar installation, had the panels installed in 3 weeks. Later my HOA sent me a warning letter stating I did not apply for the installation and it's not in compliance with the HOA requirement and requested me to have them removed, I contacted my sale rep and he said he took care of it. I got few more warning letters later, forwarded the letters to sale rep and customer service and issues still not being resolved. Another issue is I still have to pay my utility bill not as I was told after a month after the panels generate power.

They came out and talked to us and he explained everything to us. Now I'm kind of wondering if I made the right decisions because they won't return my calls and my light bill is 300 something dollars. I called them and I told them what was going on, they say something could be wrong with the panels. I've tried to call the main office and talk to them and have them send someone out and I can't get anyone on the phone. I'm gonna stop paying them and make them come out and fix it.

It was supposed to be a 2 day installation, but it took over 3 weeks, they cut the fiber to the house, and had to make multiple trips to finish the full installation. The person who sold me the contract promised all kinds of things, but after the solar was going, it took over 3 months and me calling every week for him to finish the remaining items. They even had to come back out within the first month as something was installed backwards. As well, our usage has not changed and the independent rate is only at 40% and not the projected 70%, well under our discussions.

My salesman told me that I was gonna be about 75 percent efficient and from what I see my bills I'm about 50 percent efficient. They weren't supposed to put any panels on the back of my house and they put three panels on the back of my house, so the salesman was kind enough to actually give me a panel for free because the drawing that he labeled out for me was incorrect.

I was told told my solar company did not put enough panels up which is why after the solar loan I paid the same amount. This again the same case. If you deduct what I pay for the loan and that amount I am still paying the same. There has been so far no cost benefit, which I was told it should be less than $50. My electric bill is over 200 and the loan is 100.

Took almost a year to get my system completed. Not saving any money. The system they put on my house only supplies 30-40% of my needs. When I complain I get told it's my fault for using too much energy. They sold me a seriously underpowered system. So, now I'm paying the equivalent of 2 electric bills and they don't seems to want to do anything about it

Panels were not installed as planned. Couldn't get a hold of our sales rep to talk to about issues, when we did they would only text back. Took almost 6 months after correct install of panels to get them operational. It took me telling a general call clerk that I had had it with the company and was contacting a lawyer. The next day we received a call and within 3 days the system was operational.

It was a long process to get my panels. I kept calling back and forth asking questions and I kept getting the same answers. It took a while and it was not great overall. But installation went well. They were in and out in an hour and a half. Those people were actually nice and kept me informed. I would not recommended this company to another person to be honest. I have had a horrible experience with this company and my roof was damaged.

I tried to get someone to come to my house and check my unit and nobody came or called me back. The equipment is not the percentage that they told me that I was going to have so now I have to pay a high electricity bill. They made it seem that it was a good deal but after all it wasn't. Installation process took a month and a half, almost two. Don't get solar panels.

I haven't had any issues with the solar panels themselves. But it was supposed to help me save money with my electricity company and it has not done that. Now I have to pay two bills instead of one. But I haven't had any issues with customer service, just problems with the system. I will not recommend them to anybody. Once everything was approved, they were done with installation the same day.

I feel like the salesmen was dishonest with us. He promised over and over that our disconnect fee would be covered. It was not. He promised the system would be enough for our house and I don't think it is. Over the past year we sit at about 36% energy independent. I'm also unsure about the report of the condition of our roof. Overall I felt like he wanted a sale and that was it.

My panels were installed in October, 2021. The Tesla battery was not installed. I paid cash for the entire package. As of June, the LATEST promised installation date for my Battery is July, 2022. They did not inform me that they didn't have the batter until AFTER they had installed the panels. I find customer service to be unresponsive. Nobody will do anything to expedite my installion.

Unfortunately somebody came to my house and told me about solar and I didn't do enough research to find a better company. I repeatedly could not get in touch with people. They came multiple times and I was told that they also make multiple errors. It also took multiple times for Austin energy to half the solar for them to approve it I think it was four five times. The equipment so far seems to be good, we haven't had any issues with it so far it seems to be running fine.

They actually got black spray paint all over my house and all over my driveway and all over sidewalk and street. They left screws on all kinds of things in the yard. You can't get a hold of anybody.

The installation was severely delayed by several months it took six months to get everything installed and turned on it was frustrating and expensive and I wish I had never done it. It's not providing enough power that we were promised and no one will help me get that fixed. I wish someone would contact me and provide us the equipment and the service that we were promised for the amount of money that we're paying.

Trismart Solar and its affiliates have been a complete joke to work with. We were sold a pipe dream and due to their lack of communication, integrity and competence, we now have $40,000 paperweights on our roof that are producing less than 7% of what we were guaranteed and promised. We have been fighting them for MONTHS to even get them to finish and correct the job they started and now they are refusing to acknowledge anything is wrong. Our point of contact quit replying to us almost immediately after install and we’ve been fight the customer service and corporate ladder ever since. Like most people, we went with solar in hopes to reduce our dependence on utility companies and the outrageous prices. Now we’re still paying $400+ monthly in utilities in addition to the $170 loan on solar panels that are barely producing. In theory, solar would be amazing, but I greatly urge everyone to reconsider giving trismart solar their business and money. Learn from our mistake and do more research on the company you choose.

I would like to give them zero stars. But I’m not sure it will allow me to. We were told by the sales person that we would have no electric bill after the panels were installed. That is not true. We were told by the sales person that it would be done within 60 days. It took over five months. We were told we would get a $13,000 tax credit. When we had our taxes professionally done as we always do, we got a $251.credit. At that rate, it will take over 50 years for us to earn that $13,000 credit. I’m 68 years old. I don’t think I’ve got 50 years left. And if we don’t give the finance company that $13,000, our monthly bill goes from $165-$225. We were not told that upfront. Consequently, we have not had them turned on and we are seeking legal counsel. We are fighting back. This is racketeering. Run, don’t walk, from any solar panel sales people.
